I loved it the first time I had Tungrymbai in Shillong... Didn't ever come to this dish in my life... When I stayed in Shillong me and my other state friends used to get this stinky smell and we used to think it's the dry fish and people who don't eat dry fish used to complain and can't take the smell... The smell of it getting cooked is more stinky and little different than dry fish.. But I loved this Dish very much and miss it since we don't have anyone making it here.. 😖

Depend upon you at least 2 hours.... But if you have time boil it more.. In old times our grandmothers used to boil it one whole day and cook it the next day....
