Bloo I disagree. When reviewing a game you consider multiple aspects story, music, characters, graphics, exc. the aspects come together to make an amazing experience. Same with movies, part of the experience is what you hear and feel.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will always have a place in my heart. I played this game during the days in my life where it was my busiest, most stressed, and some of my worst. So when I hear these bgms it gives me mixed emotions in a way that although I was having a rough period at that time, it still gave me some comfort in a way because of how beautiful of a game it is. Also, now after sometime of his passing, these bgms also remind me of Etika and how passionate he was with this game. I watched his streams from start to finish and I genuinely felt his emotions as he coursed through it's final chapters. It is sad though that he didn't make it through and watch the girls (Pyra/Mythra) get added to smash. I feel like the game pass, or the recently added characters, were really made for him as they were his favorite ones (yeah, even Steve). Rest in peace Etika Miss you man

I always get goosebumps when I hear this... This is at least in my top 10 VG OST from all time. It hits hard and really deep. A beautiful melody full of melancholy and nostalgia. AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, just thinking about it makes me emotional. The way they've used this song is extremely beautiful, they really managed to catch the moments and made them really memorable.

Perhaps….that too was one face of humanity.” It’s odd; for as cruel as Amalthus was, I could never truly hate him. He struck me as someone Who gazed into the abyss of nihilism and didn’t care how many others he dragged with him. With that said, it’s fitting that Jin was the one to put him down.
I don't hate him either. He might have turned out like Rex if his mother wasn't murdered, if he didn't see people he saved turn around and rob and murder, if when he reached elysium he found the architect and not just weapons of mass destruction. That would seem like a clear cut answer to anyone.

Sometime I imagine the Xenoblade 2 soundtrack as a Broadway musical. I have yet to play the game myself, so I dont know where everything would fit into the story, but I imagine Walking With You as the big emotional number late in the 1st act, and Desolation as the quiet reprise in the 2nd act.
