I have a few gripes about what the writers have her do in some situations, but, ultimately, I like Eve. Not only is she one of the most powerful superheroes we know of, but she's 1000% the kind of person who is deserving of her powers, and all she really does in her downtime is vibe and really just be a normal person. She's awesome. Superman would be proud.
The only bad thing she did this episode was probably fixing the farmers’ crops. There’s a reason those plants follow the seasons and the patterns of time. If the plants are exposed to the wrong environment bc she made them grow to adulthood in the wrong season, then all the crops might die, and the farmers will have to pluck out all the dead ones and regrow all of those crops from the beginning.

She forced those plants to grow into maturity in the wrong conditions. However, it’s possible that the farmers really did have a bad harvest that season because of issues with the soil or weather, and she may have helped. It’s not clear, but the first thing (that she harmed their harvest) is more likely than the second.

I think that’s on purpose (notice Invincible has goggles like Cyclops) but her personality is supposed to be completely opposite of the original Jean. She’s not afraid to fight or stand up for herself, etc
I should have clarified it better. Battle Beast is the strongest yes, but we don't see much of him in the show... yet. And his short appearance wasn't that awesome because he wasn't fighting anyone worthy. So he didn't even really show how badass he can really be.
Also, in ways, Eve is still cooler than BB. Battle Beast is just an insanely powerful Brute who is stronger than most beings and harder than s*** to defeat. Eve has the ability to do pretty much anything involving molecular structure (to a certain degree of power of course) she can create and manipulate just about anything she pleases. She's almost like a highly nerfed Dr. Manhattan or Apocalypse.... with some scarlet witch and Green Lantern looking powers too. If her level of power was higher, she'd probably be the most OP character in that story. She would be able to turn Battle Beast inside out.
I like how casually they through around the fact she can manipulate atoms on a nexus level, she is so powerful on Scarlet Witch levels of power, I can't wait to see her powers advance "mature" to be even more powerful in season 2 I have a feeling we've just hit the service of what she can do. It was so frustrating how they disrespected her at the end of Season 1. She goes off to find herself, makes a real difference in the world, helps the less fortunate and enjoys what she does...only to end up as the butt of a joke about how no one knows who she even is. It was so bad

Big fan of Samantha from the comic, I reread the comic 4 times every year because of how good it is, and to me, I think the comic was rushed the author could've stretched mark's adventure when he left earth.

Sort of. Her base power is subatomic manipulation. Which gives her the power to basically do anything that not impossible. She basically controls and can rewrite everything. While Wanda can just do anything she can imagine even if it doesn’t make sense, Eve can basically do the scientific version of that. Think of it like she has telekinesis mixed with transmutation.
The only limit being that she can’t control organic matter (there’s a reason why that you’ll learn about later) and has to know about all the chemical makeup needed to change one thing into another. The only things she can’t really do is make something from nothing.

If the plants are exposed to the wrong environment bc she made them grow to adulthood in the wrong season, then all the crops might die, and the farmers will have to pluck out all the dead ones and regrow all of those crops from the beginning.

Agriculture: The reason that farmers plant, grow, and harvest crops at very specific times of the year is that the seasons affect the soil, air, and light needed to help their crops grow.
Botany: If any of those are incorrect for a certain stage of the plants’ growth and development, then the crops won’t grow.
Economy: And if the crops won’t grow, then the farmers will have wasted a lot of time, money, and resources to grow those crops.
By stimulating those plants to grow to ripeness or maturity before they were supposed to, Atom Eve may have harmed the farmers’ work for that whole year bc a lot of plants only grow in certain seasons in certain conditions. She forced those plants to grow into maturity in the wrong conditions.
However, it’s possible that the farmers really did have a bad harvest that season because of issues with the soil or weather, and she may have helped.
It’s not clear, but the first thing (that she harmed their harvest) is more likely than the second.

I feel a lot of people are going to be happy when they read the comics. The relationship between Mark and Eve there is more complicated.

I should have clarified it better. Battle Beast is the strongest yes, but we don't see much of him in the show... yet. And his short appearance wasn't that awesome because he wasn't fighting anyone worthy. So he didn't even really show how badass he can really be.
I DO hope they show the fight between him and Thragg though. That would be the ultimate scene.
Also, in ways, Eve is still cooler than BB. Battle Beast is just an insanely powerful Brute who is stronger than most beings and harder than s*** to defeat. Eve has the ability to do pretty much anything involving molecular structure (to a certain degree of power of course) she can create and manipulate just about anything she pleases. She's almost like a highly nerfed Dr. Manhattan or Apocalypse.... with some scarlet witch and Green Lantern looking powers too. If her level of power was higher, she'd probably be the most OP character in that story. She would be able to turn Battle Beast inside out.
I like how casually they through around the fact she can manipulate atoms on a nexus level, she is so powerful on Scarlet Witch levels of power, I can't wait to see her powers advance "mature" to be even more powerful in season 2 I have a feeling we've just hit the service of what she can do. Eve’s power are super op. The ability to manipulate and transmutate any type of matter at subatomic is extremely OP. I haven’t read the comics so I’m hoping we see very creative uses of her power and more fights for her, I also hope Eve and Mark get together in season 2

So she's like the Scarlet Witch? It seems they somehow has similar effects on their power and the way they both used it
Sort of. Her base power is subatomic manipulation. Which gives her the power to basically do anything that not impossible. She basically controls and can rewrite everything. While Wanda can just do anything she can imagine even if it doesn’t make sense, Eve can basically do the scientific version of that. Think of it like she has telekinesis mixed with transmutation.
The only limit being that she can’t control organic matter (there’s a reason why that you’ll learn about later) and has to know about all the chemical makeup needed to change one thing into another. The only things she can’t really do is make something from nothing.
