I don’t know how you interpreted Zeynep to be the bad guy as that’s not what happened. The writers did not choose to dive into her feelings or allow her to express as it cater to others more. Her only desire is to study and yes along the way to be with Cüneyd and help the girls study.
She has every right to be afraid of marriage and not wanting to get married until she’s ready. Love isn’t enough.
Cüneyd pushed for the divorce cause his world limits her possibilities (and other reasons…). Which we saw (attack on him) and when his community said that he is only trying to win his wife’s heart by getting the girls to study. he informed them that isn’t the case as they’re divorced.
Beside Zeynep did try not to divorce him by saying they need witnesses but he got the witnesses and also led their divorce process by telling Zeynep to go ahead. At this point, both were aware of their feelings for each other but didn’t bring it up.
His only engaged to feyza because of Vahid. His father wanted him to fall in love with his wife by making their marriage happen (stopping her from going to France). So he can take revenge from his son and see him suffer.
Once they divorced he made it clear to Cüneyd that he needs to break his tie with Zeynep completely as Zeynep and him are bounded and time is not enough to break it. Feyza is his only option for marriage unfortunately as she knows about his illness.
I would also like to state that episode 19 was rushed! Before airing episode 19 they were still filming 2 days before. They had to wrap it up quick and set the premise for season 2.
@@StarGazerExoExactly. Zeynep is the most innocent one in the story. She loved Cüneyd with all her heart and soul. Being afraid of the marriage is another thing. Also, do you expect a teenager to accept a marital life happily? Would she even be ready ? Did she know beforehand what kind of person Cüneyd was? She even argued with her mom that Cüneyd doesn't has any bad intentions, he just loves and trusts her (when she told about him holding her hand). Never even once she asked him for divorce, in addition she tried every way to avoid it. The person who ignores her feelings in front of Cüneyd's and blames her for the mess should think once again with cool mind.
Stop blaming zeynep she is a young girl and doesn’t even know how this things work .She can’t even understand her own feeling always putting others well being before herself stop .Zeynep and Cuneyd are the most purest souls they never played with each other’s hearts whatever decision they took both were forced
