Thought it interesting that the thrusting hip, rapping granny would be offensive to the queen, but dancing young women in nearly indecent lingerie can go through. The queen would actually be appreciative of that act. :-)

Simon Cowell and all the other two judges are much more relaxed and more serious, during these early Britain's Got Talent episodes. It is because David Walliams didn't join the series until 2012. David Walliams is constantly all over the place, during Britain's Got Talent. David Walliams is a very hyperactive character.

Well standards have gone up very much. The ones that got through if they perform in 2019 I doubt they will go through 😟😟😓😋. They might even get some harsh comments😓🙅😫😒😒😧😧😳😞

The standards were pretty low back then. Most of the ones that went through then would not have today ( 2020) ...
It was actually really funny to see the difference. I think they just both attract better talent now, the standards really are much higher & the producers know who to keep an eye out for. This was just everyone & their grandma taking their shot, just for kicks so they could say they technically auditioned to be on the Royal Variety Show.
You sound as if this show was done in the eighteenth century, it's only been 4 years ago this was uploaded. I don't know exactly when it was filmed, but it had to be within the last 10 years.

@@brianlanders5306 well session 1 was filmed in 2007 so session 2 was filmed in 2008
I think that's one of the reasons why it was so good because of the simplicity compared to what it's become now...

I liked the first two episodes. Could you please upload episodes 3 (Auditions 3), 4 (Auditions 4), 5 (Auditions 5), 6 (Semi-Final 1), 7 (Semi-Final 2), 8 (Semi-Final 3), 9 (The Final) and 10 (The Final Results) by early April? Because it's very interesting and very exciting.

Not required, they chose to do that. As they said many times in interviews.

Amy Lovendaal Exactly. Notice how he changes his tune as he ages & his beloved elders die off. It also was a changing point when Susan Boyle came on. He was judging her on her appearance before she performed. I think Simon learned.

Its no to Simon what heck is he thinking telling a 70 year old rapper she hasn't got it and how dare he decide for the Queen, my Mother in law is 92 and she still likes a laugth. We are not passed it till we are dead . I am glad the other two judges ruled in her favour, we watch young singers come on and sing with grown up voices and Simon loves it, he gets a mature woman on doing a young act and he hates it, he has a problem then he says the Queen wouldn't like it, why? She is human isn't she? I have alot of respect for the Queen and her family because over the years they have made mistakes like any family and that they are human, I had a boss once answering for the higher bosses who gave me a lot of respect for the work I did in my job, at the end it is the people who vote for the act and she wasn't that bad and glad the other two judges disagreed with Simon. .
Judging never should be what we don't personally dislike as there is a difference between what we don't like to what is crap, I personally don't like Opera but accept it is a skill and takes a lot of control of voice far more then country, pop, rock, punk or soul. So I would of said yes to the first winner of this show even so it is not my cup of tea, so No to Simon.
I think current day Simon may have put her through. This was back when being the "rude one" was supposed to be his main gimick as a judge. He's a lot more personable on BGT these days I feel like.
@@accountforwastingtime Simon Caroll is a business man he as no personal interest in anyone accept his own family or those he feels can be successful, he changed because of the negativity of his actions not that he has changed. Early days he was looking for the best people he could gain from that is where his conflict came in with other judges, they where not busibness they where reporters, stars and entertainers. Simon changed because it was doing him no good as other judges and audience where going against him, he was right in one thing they where not going to win BGT as those he rejected wasn't star quality, but he found it easier if he let the audience decide then himself and always going against his fellow judges and the audience, what ever he does is for himself like all business people. There are a lot of none talented people with personal problems and Simon showed no emotions towards them because there is nothing in it for him, that is how business people work nice outward but inwardly it is all gain and win.
Is this show base off of X factor or is like another season?
The days before they all came with sob stories and the “judges” always play up for the cameras.
