That was a dunk. The net is only there to basically prove the ball went through the rim. When it goes through the rim it’s a point. Net or no net, it’s a point.
net is so when the ball goes in it doesn't just go through and roll away

But with the net, if it goes through the rim, the ball will touch the net and you will know it went through the rim, so it’s a point.

The net is just to prove the ball went through the rim. The rim is actually where the point system comes in. The ball has to go through the rim, so once is does it’s a point or so forth. That’s what I was taught so with that being said I personally think it would’ve/should’ve counted however. In this situation I see where Tjass didn’t count it.
