You know whats freaky? Today i received my order in the mail of a himi gouache set and metallic watercolours, and you swatched your gouache next to what looked very similar to my metallic watercolours 😂😂 its a sign to paint tmrw 😁😁😁
Question! I've just gotten a new himi gouache set, but I've heard some people's experiences with the paints molding which makes me a little hesitant to start using them.. I'm noticing you dip your wet brush directly in the paints which makes me wonder, have you had any problems with molding before/have you had to take any precautions to make sure it doesn't happen? Lovely video by the way!
So one of my very first himi set got mold in it (it because I used to spray it a lot with water) but the rest of the palette I just try to keep it on the drier side until I paint and it’s been fine so far
Maybe try getting a smaller set with the primaries first? I've actually never used them before, but that's typically a good place to start with any paints if you want to get a feel for what they're like without totally committing to them :)
Colour mixing kinda difficult for me and ig for lots of people like me who learns drawing from videos.it would be beneficial for us if you could show us your colour mixing from the beginning of the video. It’s my Opinion, i love your drawing dear.❤
