I love seeing these behind the scenes tours showing how “the sausage is made”. Thanks to John for the in-depth tour and thanks to you, Brie (and Aidan) for sharing this fascinating operation with us. 💚
Love Hoffman and Izel. The only downside I've had with ordering from Izel is that you can only buy entire flats. That's great if you need to cover a large area, but when you only need a few of something..... well, you're stuck. I understand they're filling a niche that needs filling, but it's an aggravation for the average gardener who might only want a handful of plants. Great to see some behind the curtain. That white Muhly is pretty nice and I happen to have a slope that'd benefit from a few of them!
Love this kind of tour! Thanks for this What's the retail plug dealer mentioned...Izel? I've also seen plug trays offered by Prairie Moon Nursery. And a few others are doing similar I think. And a nitpick. My thumb got a workout adjusting to hear him....but it was worth it.

Great video, loved seeing how this all works, thanks for sharing with us.
I love Carex!
I’ve tried to find a landscaper to follow there. 😁 They grow so many cool carex and grasses
Amazing what technology can do!

That’s why I offer mix and match landscape plugs of any quantity at my open gardens 2 times a year.
Just think about how expensive plants would be without mass production. I couldn’t find Muhly grass locally last year, so I’ll have to try online.
Love this kind of tour! Thanks for this
