Doesn't worth the upgrade. Wait for another year. I felt like Huawei innovations slow down a little, like band 6,7,8,9 is quite similar in terms of yearly upgrade comparison. If you jump 2 generations you will feel the slight difference. 1 generation doesn't have much of a difference. Also keep your band 8 for another year, unless yours are damaged. Save money, save the planet.

There are new hardware sensors for heart rate and sleep, these sensors were only available on HUAWEI's top of the line watches, so I consider it a huge change in terms of hardware for such a cheap BAND, both the version 8 as well as the 9 from HUAWEI BAND, in the case of sleep tracking there are new data and insights

Step counts are pretty accurate compared to my galaxy watch. GPS tracking is also good but depends on the phone you're using

The animations and transitions look choppy and laggy. You can easily tell that it has a 30Hz panel. Definitely not as smoother as the Honor Band 9, which has a higher refresh rate panel. Why did Huawei cheap out on the most important thing, the display? The Quantified Scientist has just released his review and concluded that it performed worse than the previous gen Band 8, what was Huawei thinking?
Yeah it is a mystery with the 30hz display seeing the Jonro6band got the 60hz 🤔

@@endro429 gak PP bang THR gw masih utuh :v, kalau soal GPS gw ada sih bang SW ber-GPS tapi SW nya gw kasih strap besi makanya berat dan jujur gak nemu skenario pemakaian GPS juga sih, lebih butuh band ringan soalnya paling cuma fitnes sama pemantauan jam tidur aja, yang jadi kebingungan ini band huawei apa masih gak support olahraga cycling? Kalau kayak gitu mending miband 8 aja gak sih? 🤣
