So after upgrading to an RTX 3080 in late 2022, coming from a PCIe Gen 3 setup; and a Silicon Power XS70 Gen 4x4 M.2 NVMe SSD, I noticed that I was getting half the speed out of the SSD. Here's how to solve this issue.

Great video as always and am a big fan. I recently purchased the SK Hynix Gold P31 1TB NVMe Gen 3 and its quite good. The speeds are better than your Gen 3 at R-3500/W-3200. Anyway keep up the good work. Cheers

Silicon Power 4TB XS70 is now sold with Innogrit IG5236 controller, instead of the Phison E18 as initially available. Tactic: Sell the initial product with good specs to get great reviews, then replace with inferior internal components while keeping the same price.

Its just a matter of searching, but note that Amazon and Ebay are more like retail, not wholesale sites

Do you worry about how long your SSDs will last? The reality is all SSDs have a fixed TBW and that is a bummer.
Sure, but for my level of use I doubt I can even hit that TBW of 600 any time soon, same for many other people. And its not like after you hit your TBW the drive just dies, it will most likely continue working.
