God this is horrifying! I am an educated man, a longtime history teacher-yet watching this man casually discussing his part in making sure the Holocaust ran smoothly is just nauseating. One thing to teach about it, another to see it in person. So many trains arriving so quickly made him work very hard (At killing people), and we are supposed to feel sympathy or at least understand that was just his job? Scum. Yet I get the feeling that the world is never far away from repeating this type of horror, based on the nature of humans. Tough watch, but important.

Tell us what you would have done. You would have gone along with it too. It’s one thing to be at home watching this video when almost 100 years and an ocean separates you from the crime, quite another to experience what Suchomel and others like him experienced. You are either not as educated on the subject as you should be or you are just not being logical. There are very few heroes on the German side from that period. Many disagreed, but they kept their mouths shut. You would have been the same if you had been assigned to a death camp back then. Protest all you want, reality trumps you. Watch or read more perpetrator testimonies and read the book “Ordinary Men”. That might help.

You need to put the whole post WWII era in historical perspective. The Nuremberg trials were conducted by the Allied powers and it's not like the Nazis stood-up and suddenly admitted they were wrong after the war. Many Nazis or Nazi sympathizers retained positions of authority after the war. West Germany was reticent to conduct many war crime trials of their own accord until the 90s when the post war generation realized that the country had adopted a conscious level of amnesia to the war crimes. Hence the reason why many of the 'real criminals' were either given 'token' sentences, allowed to live peacefully in post-war Germany, or allowed to escape to other countries with new identities. When you see trials these days it's typically low level guards who were not active participants in the Holocaust. In a sense, modern Germany is soothing their guilt of not having done anything for decades by prosecuting a bunch of 80 and 90 year old men. Hope this helps...

When answering what his first impression of Treblinka was, he replies that it was catastrophic and, “We had not been told how and what...” and then he stops himself and inserts, “that people were being killed there.” I wonder what he was initially going to say. “We had not been told how and what _________”(fill in the blank). Did he interrupt himself because he came close to disclosing pre-knowledge of people being exterminated, or did he just find a better way of saying he didn’t know?
He said it was proven at his trial that he didn’t want to go to Treblinka, but he doesn’t say why. If all it was was guarding prisoners while they worked in factories, I’d be interested in knowing why he was so apparently strongly opposed to going.
I just sorely question his veracity regarding knowledge of the exterminations occurring.

There is no veracity to question, obviously he knew. Considering that this documentary astonishingly shows how every single polish farmer in a radius of X kilometers knew absolutely everything about the camps it’s totally obvious that a nazi official (who was already involved in Aktion T4 for god’s sake) had been briefed and informed long beforehand. You point out the contradiction too - how could he be so apprehensive about going that it’s judicially counted as a mitigating circumstance if he didn’t know anything about the crimes? I wonder what those prosecutors did at the trials… Absolutely useless… The nazis should’ve been extradited to Israel instead of being tried in the pseudo fascist state of West Germany.

I've watched all 7 parts of this interview. The man is being led by the interviewer, one that didn't ask the hard questions, the contradictions on his descriptions of the events. He was happy with the answers, it suited his agenda and boasted the ego of this old man trying to find his own redemption. Just for this part one:
    - He arrived in late August when Treblinka was operating at full capacity (Prt 1 - 2.27). Three trains arrived in two days, each with 3, 4 or 5 thousand people from Warsaw (ghetto being emptied) (Prt 1 - 2:55). At minute 3:04 he states: - other trains arrived from Kielce and other places. So now the trains did not come from Warsaw alone as stated a few moments before.
    - Half of the people on the trains was dead (Prt 1 - 3:38) The rest was half dead or half mad. The dead (thousands) were piled up on the ramp like wood (Prt 1 - 4:24). The living were left on the station (Prt 1 - 3:24) were they would wait for 2 or 3 days because the small gas chambers could not keep up even though they functioned day and night (Prt 1 - 4:50). How many small gas chambers were there? Two? He does not clarify. As he does not clarify when the "new" chambers were built.
    - On Part 2 he states: More and more people arrived in trains and the small chambers could no cope (Prt 2 - 3:28). So one has to assume that the pile of corpses on the ramp, like wood, grew and grew. Meanwhile the living, waiting there for 3 days foresaw their own death. You bet! As Mount Everest of corpses is there before their eyes on the ramp and the infernal smell from the camp spread for miles (Prt 2 - 2:38) one would assume death was near. Besides they heard the noise of the engine feeding the gas chamber - a tank engine that delivered the poison gas (Prt 4 - 4:45). So now, one engine means one chamber not two. At 4:20 of part 2 he states that women slashed their daughters wrists and then their own. Interesting to see that the mothers were only concerned about the daughters. The sons? Fuck them. Others poisoned themselves (Prt 2 - 4:33). Right, when they left the ghetto they made sure that they carried a cyanide capsule with them...just in case! Or maybe they went into the woods to stuff their noses with poison ivy.
But there are records that show that this SS Officer is way out of reality: - "The first transports to Treblinka came from the Warsaw ghetto. Between the 23rd of July and the 21st of August 1942, a total of 254 000 Jews from Warsaw and 112 000 from other parts of the Warsaw region were murdered here." (www.holocaust.cz/en/history/concentration-camps-and-ghettos/treblinka-3/) - so in less than a month 366 000 people were exterminated at Treblinka. Now let's do the Math. The new chambers - 10 of them in rows of five - out of which only one row was operating (Prt 3 - 00:43) could take each 200 people inside in one go (in accordance with the jews because he, himself, an SS Officer on duty at Treblinka had no fucking idea of how many a chamber could take - but the jews knew, apparently one of them came from the dead after cremation to unveil the magic number). So we get, in one go, believing the number, 1000 jews killed in the 5 chambers. Now how long does it take to remove 200 bodies from a chamber? Is it fare to say one minute each? 200 bodies equals 200 minutes, in other words, more than three hours before the chamber can be used again. In order to "process" 366 000 individuals during those 29 days, 12 621 would have to be killed every day non-stop. This matches is statement in which he claims that 12 to 15 000 were liquidated every day (18 000 was excessive) (Prt 4 - 4:34) but, considering that you can liquidate 1000 (5 x 200) per each 4 hours (the killing takes time as well), you would be capable of having 6 "sessions" per day max at full capacity with no engine breakdowns, no maintenance, no disruptions during a full month. That is half of the required turnover of 12.6 "sessions" per 24 hours. He states that everyday 100 jews were selected to drag the bodies to the mass graves (Prt 2 - 1:23) but in the evening they were gassed or shot by the Ukranians. So that means that during the night there was no one to remove and drag bodies to the mass graves, further reducing the killing rithm. Get the picture? Someone is lying.
Back to SS suchomel and his bullshit on Part 2 soon.

But if you were to look at Jews in Germany before the rise of Nazism how do you think they would identify themselves? The majority would say they were German, wouldn't you agree? As for Bolshevism, Jewish people were present of course, but so were Christians, neither Lenin nor Stalin were Jewish, and the Soviets were just as bad to their Jewish population as the Nazis.

"Do you have proofs of the water system sabotage by the nazis?"
As mentioned in "After Daybreak - The Liberation of Belsen, 1945" apparently.
So, you have proof that the water supplies were cut by allied bombing?
"What about the commandant and guards who voluntarily stayed there and waited for the arrival of the Brits."
under a promise that they would be allowed to leave once the camp was fully taken over. It was part of the deal. So your point is?

@deconneurnot "Caused by overcrowding and a total lack of responsible care on the part of the Nazis."
Why was the death rate multiplicated by 60 in the 5 last months of WW2 if the poor conditions of the Belsen camp when it was liberated were due to a deliberate nazi policy? And if it had been caused by a deliberate nazi policy, why would the authorities of that camp have waited the very last months of WW2 to put it into practise? Was it their present to the Allied propaganda services? ;-)

    "the truth is....."
Something you will never accept simply because of your own prejudices.
The problem for you is that the accepted version is still in the educational institutions and still in the book shops and libraries. It is still accepted by the vast majority.
The opinions of a small bunch of crackpots on YT and other websites ain't going to change anything.
    Deal with it.

"By admitting that the soap was blown out of proportion (which there was never any of at all)".
You appear to have difficulty reading plain English, Julian. Where did I say there was never any human soap at all? Or did you miss the bit about 'human soap probably was manufactured in small quantities"?
Dear me, you're as bad as Mattogno - and that's saying something!

I never said I agree with everything about the holocaust, did I?
I DO agree with the aspects for which there is plenty of evidence, and NOT with those for which there isn't. A bit different from the hook, line, and sinker approach you are so keen to blame me for, isn't it?
Now we have got that sorted out, any chance of the names of the people who YOU claimed were hanged at Nuremberg for making human soap? Or has that one been blown out of all proportion as well?

"Is it that you are denying that the Soviets presented soap?".
    Another strawman.
The Soviets did present soap at the Trial - but that is not the crux of the issue: what I have been asking for ( for several hours now) is the names of the people YOU CLAIMED were hanged for manufacturing soap. Let me remind you of your exact words: "Human soap was presented at Nuremberg too...and people were hung for it". So, who were they?
It's your claim - so YOU prove it.

"The Soviets did present RIF soap at Nuremberg".
    Bad strawman.
You claimed people were hanged for it. So give me the names of the defendants for whom the manufacture of human soap appears in their indictments, and who were also hanged.
As for the Krema I crap, if you don't possess the wit to think around that one, then maybe this subject is too complicated for you?

Better still, look it up! Suchomel WAS indicted, and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment at the First Treblinka Trial. Nobody was given the death sentence, because it was revoked under German Basic Law in 1949.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and prove it.

@mandelbaums I didnt think you would be up to my challenge. What are you afraid of? If one can reason away the holocaust, then one can reason away nearly anything. Why won't you let me try and prove this to you. All you need do to tell me something, unrelated to the holocaust, which you hold sacred and watch me reason it away. Perhaps, Christianity? Would you like me to explain why Christianity is a false religion?

@TheHorsenation Yes mate he is an actor. To even make the part more convincing he was sentenced in a West German Federal Court for crimes against humanity and went to jail a few years. It made this video very convincing didn't it? Lucky you can see through the lies unlike the rest of us. Man you must be smart! I hear Willy is now doing pantomines in English theatres getting a laugh out of everyone with his pretend German comic accent!

@HistorySpeaks4Itself To put it in perspective you should also see the fact that American soldiers have killed innocent ppl within countries like Iraq on the idea that they are a potential threat. its like a group of kids where one of them has an illegal substance, but all are at fault for being by that person. This goes to say that if there is a terrorist within a group of ppl then they are all a threat. this in itself does not seem peaceful but rather but un-peaceful in the name of democracy

  • @xxcallmegodxx89

@HistorySpeaks4Itself My comment was more on the term of general thought, not picking a side. And quite frankly society today is pretty much corrupt regardless of a held democracy at any end. Democracy in today's world is really the real "American Idol" where we vote for the most keen sounding without really seeing the picture. to vote for the guy that sounds the smartest that will only do the same thing as the idiot on the other end.

Well no, not necessarily boycott. Hollywood doesn't know when to stop with all the hitler movies. They've made their point. Haven't the Germans been through enough with the stigma of this national socialist thing, for 6.5 decades? No, I'm not Catholic, just non-denom. Christian, but still...

Sorry, I don't agree. You wanted pics, I delivered them (7, not 1, fool!), i.e. i showed you the box and that it's full.
Now you have to prove that the pics don't show what people claim, i.e. that the box doesn't contain the real stuff, even if it looks that way at first glance.
    That's how it works.

    Atrocities perpetrated by the Nazis:
    - against jews
    - homosexuals
    - disabled
    - Roma
    - Russians
Just repeating your false claims that those things never happened won't help you.
It actually makes it even seem more likely that you actually condone those atrocities.
