This is a video of my custom LEGO Christmas Village and Ski Resort. My village is a mix of official LEGO sets as well as some custom items. For 2017 I expanded my ski area. Last year I only had the ski slope, this year I've added a ski lodge, ski lift, and some ski chalets. The chalets are built from the Friends Snow Chalet set but recolored to be more realistic. Also new this year is the new Winter station and a city block of Creator 3-in-1 sets that I winterized. Also the Winter Market carousel is now motorized.

I deeply envy people like you, with the skill and resources to produce something this elaborate. My village basically consists of just official Winter Village sets covering the top of my entertainment center.

Excellent presentation of the Winter Village. It must have taken lost of thought and time to do such a wonderful display. My grandson just loves this. Thanks so very much for taking the time to put it on UA-cam and the music selections used are great. He loves the snowball fight - looks like the girls against the boys LOL!!

Thanks! I'm thinking of starting a modular city street when the village isn't up during the winter months, but yes I definitely intend to keep the modulars out of this city because of their size. I enjoy taking the Lego City sets like the gas station and making them decorated for the holidays I am interested in seeing if I can make just the diner part of the new modular coming out fit into this village somehow next year.
Amazing! Especially love some of the detail and story in the staging like the sailor coming home for Christmas off the bus!

It is always snowy. I put it up in September/October and take it down in February/March.
Can you also show how to make a lego MOC of that classic car. The one that was red and you also had a black one too

How did you make that extra long winter village station
I bought two sets and just experimented around to make it longer. I had to use some spare parts I had for the flooring.

The white base plates, are they from LEGO or is it a third party? I’m trying to make my own Christmas display this year and I haven’t seen any white base plates at all.
Yes, most are from a third party on ebay. Some are just spray painted white. LEGO doesn't make any. If you spray paint them, you gotta make sure you get a sealant for the paint otherwise it will chip off on other pieces. Easier to just buy on ebay.
