    just bought a raiden xsoft and as someone who only used control pads before and wanted something new and faster (saturn pro previously)and HOLY. imo easy to get used to as it feels weirdly perfect to me for stopping power(could be cause of xsoft) everyone’s different but if u want the best it’s def an artisan pad i’d say. 10/10 main pad forever

    Great video! I've wanted to see a direct comparison between the mid of x-soft were for a while now. I own the Raiden in x-soft XL, and I've been loving it. Managed to beat some of my PB's in Aimlabs with it as well, but that could just be because I was using a smaller pad before, that being the Otsu soft in L. Overall though, I could totally recommend it too. I love how smooth and plush it is.

      @@KillWija Hey maybe you can help me out a bit more. I'm about to import some artisan pads from Japan, but there is one problem:
      Do you stick to the Raiden surface with your arm or is the surface compatible with typical sleeves? You know some pads are so strange that you are actually not sticking to it with your bare skin, but they have a lot of friction when you use a sleeve.
      This is important to me to know to order for the correct size - either XL when the pad is compatible with sleeves and therefore my arm does not stick to it and the desk OR XXL when the bare skin does not stick to the pad, cause then I need a pad large enough to cover the entire desk, as it I can't wear a sleeve. I don't know if the hardness of the pad plays a role in this too, but definitely the surfaces. So when you can give me some information on that or other artisan pads, It would help me out a lot.

    • @KillWija
      @KillWija  6 місяців тому +1

      @yosoy1loco the Raiden is very smooth it’s one of those pads that plays well with or without a sleeve for me usually I almost always play with a sleeve with most pads since my skin stick a lot to the pad but the raiden is one of the very few I don’t have use one with. If you do want to use a sleeve though the pulsar sleeve with the raiden has little to no friction feels amazing

    • @yosoy1loco
      @yosoy1loco 6 місяців тому

      @@KillWija Many thanks, Dude! I was fearing that it would be similar to a roccat taito or an CM MP510, both cannot used with a sleeve at is is somehow tucking at it, but they can be used without.
      Btw. I don't know what is up with youtube, but your channel is "404", when trying to visit it directly. Maybe a problem with the name.

    • @mrwater2033
      @mrwater2033 2 місяці тому

      @@ghostamirr It doesn't hurt. But the surface is similar like sand/sandpaper. When my wrist sweats a bit during summer my wrist just sticks to the pad and my aim becomes worse.
      Out of Raiden, Otsu and Zero I would say Zero is the best when it comes to wrist sweat control. Raiden is good too for that. But imo Raiden is way too fast to control. I could play with it but my aim with Zero is a lot better.
      When you get yours you probably have to experiment with different mouse skates. I found obsidian red dots to work best for me. going to try ghostglides cyclone. Tried edgerunners, vortex, jade dots, jade donuts, corepads etc.
      Don't worry though if you're buying from Maxgaming or w/e you can most likely just return it if you don't like it. I did that.
      Imo Zero is the best to start off with to see what you want. It's faster than QCK, doesn't become muddy like QCK. I started with Otsu into Raiden, lol. (I chose soft) I don't really press into the pad though
      Good luck!

      It’s hard to say cause these 2 pads are so different from each other it’s hard to compare. I’ll say if you like a overall balanced feeling pad with a decent amount of control than the hein is the one you want to try but if you looking to sacrifice some of that control for more speed then raiden is a excellent pad to try it is way more smooth than hein as well so if you like more texture on a mousepad you may like the roughness of the hein better.
