congrats on the appeal. I'm the same way you are about hats .I only wear fitted. now that you have your own appeal you probably wouldn't get a fitted but... on the east coast Lids. 59/50 fitted hats you can pick a size and color, have them seow on your logo but of course im only saying this for your own personal hats they'd be a fortune to make to sell..
It's called Indian Head and Gasket Shellac. Holds gasket in place as you put on cover and bolts.

if driven properly, with a good tune itll get better fuel mileage than a stock 500hp. and be better overall for its run time. "again if driven properly."
@@oregonfordguy9812 Yeah, I’d imagine it’s easier for a 1000hp engine to run at 500 all day vs a 500hp engine running at 500 all day. Obviously he knows what he’s doing, but just the child in me laughed a little when I saw that lol
@@zebgraves4562 I did too. 1000hp is a bit ridiculous. last guy to do it snapped a crank. I run a 550/2050 12.7 every day. 0 issues and around 7mpg dragging a open deck at 80k gross

It is SOOO hard to be a trucker. It may be a harder to be a FUTURE truck driver. Don’t get caught up in an ownership “drive - to - own” scam. It would be such a blessing to be one of Tim’s drivers. There are only a SMALL HANDFUL of trucking companies, like Gentry, who try to make it worth the drivers time and effort.. AND SWIFT AIN’T ONE OF THEM!
..and as for Gentry, hey! Just keep swimming..just keep swimming..just keep swimming! Thank you to all of the truckers struggling to grease the wheels of commerce.
Swift is only good for new drivers who need the experience or people who have wrecks on the record and can’t find somewhere to go. I’m at Walmart making 6 figures. I would have loved to own my own truck but between insurance, fuel, maintenance etc I’ll just keep my tail here. Be safe out there guys.

I have a series 60 in a cascadeia glider. It's got 346000 on it. No problems at all... greatest engine I've ever had...
Only downfall is you gotta run it at 1600 to feel the torque

OLD SCHOOL!!!! Indian Head Gasket Sealer. One of the original gasket sealing compounds. Most of the youngsters have no idea.
3406 E models are easy to time. With the flywheel on, there is a hole in the right front side of the flywheel housing. Put a 3/8 bolt in the hole and bar the crankshaft over and when the bolt falls in the hole your bottom end is timed. When you get the cam gear on line the arrow on the gear with the mark on the top of the peanut cover. All the other gears don't have to be marked.
Why is it that sometimes it’s a half a teeth off when timing the cam gear? Has anyone else had this issue?
It’s TRUE!! Local and regional breweries can get you the BEST chap stick. The best comes from Sierra Nevada Brewery.. its the by-product of their brewing processes that create the key ingredients to congeal the lip wax!! Check with your local breweries and see if you can make connections! Best of luck and love to your family and channel and keep those orders flowing!

@@2000freefuel not sure but it may have something to do with the hopps oil that separates from the brewing process. The New Belgian brewing company also makes great “Chap-Stick” lip balm too!
We use a piece of wire to hold the cam up to pass through the holes, save on the finger pinchings.
Tim, get yourself a carbide super scraper, they work excellent on flat surfaces, and like dad said, NEVER use a whiz wheel, or roloc disc .. hose the piss out of it with NON CHLORINATED brake clean…oh and you never want to use a lot of silicone, it gets inside the engine and fins it way to pickup screen which is a no bueno situation.. good luck with your cat..
Agreed, one up on silicone is something like flange sealer loctite 515 or another anaerobic sealer, shellac is a thing of the past.
Man I’m new to getting my own authority from being a driver with a little under 2 years. I have to say there are so many things to overcome from state, federal and local requirements. To insurance,registration for trucks the trailers the plates permits ect.
I respect you Tim you’ve given me knowledge and understanding that you have to work at it to make your dreams happen. Thank you brother. Love the videos and updates of the daily life of what it takes to be a driver and a business owner with multiple streams of income.

Now the cost of fuel in the other hand....
In the uk, we have to buy fuel per litre (4.54 litres to the gallon) and at present, diesel is £173.9 to £2 per litre.
I feel for all Americans that suffer the fuel price, but think how it is for us.
It's getting to a point where we are unsure if we can even take our kids to school or go food shopping.
Anyway, keep up with the great content, and do what hake you happy 😊

Indian head gasket maker my grandfather use it for years so needless to say throughout the generations we've all used it to this day
ive had those siphoning hoses for 20plus yrs they are the best
Back in the day we used diesel oil and a brush washed it off with the water hose It works out real nice , What I would do with that cover is go by a can of Oven cleaner Spray it all over let it set 15 or 20 minutes Spray it off shouldn't have nothing on it When you're done

A little tip for future reference. When doing a front structure on a cat put a small amount of permatex in both lower corners and put a small amount on the oil pan gasket. Right in the corners they all meet.

If that brown stuff you were asking your dad about is Perfect Seal #4, it's used on aircraft piston engines with silk thread to seal the 2 case halves.
And that CAT gasket that looked funny was because they didn't want to package it on as large a sheet of cardboard as it would require, so they used the little round tube and rubber bands to fold it to fit the smaller sheet. The round tube lets them bend it without forming a crease.

Indian head gasket sealant. Otherwise know as brown glue of doom. Made by permatex. Stuff will stick a paper gasket to a surface like grim death to a kamikaze... seals like none other.

You know Tim, saw someone making custom gaskets with a charcoal rubbing scanned into a computer and a Cricut machine, they bought a sheet of gasket material and used the machine to cut it out perfect!

I remember back in the day we had some stuff called Indian head gasket sealer I don't know if they still make that stuff or not, not sure if that is what your dad used or not !
