Fun fact, I was in the “Crowd” for this, filmed at Fort Henry, in Kingston Ontario! Band is super nice, took the time to come say hi to everyone and sing their hits for us between takes! Was super fun! 2 day shoot!
The singer is , Patrick, the guy in red. He also plays guitar and writes most of the music. . Pete, the blond guy is the bassist. But he writes the lyrics and formed the band. He does some background vocals but prefers Patrick sing lead.
I will always be thankful for the crappy Pete/Peyton storyline on One Tree Hill for ONE thing: introducing me to FOB. Been in love with them ever since!
FOB were formed not long after Linkin Park, but started out as a more straight up emo/pop punk band and slowly transitioned into including elements of funk and rnb, opposed to LP’s more rap infused metal. They went on a break in 2008 after getting the “sellout” schtick thrown at them (because they dared to be creative lol), but later went fuck you and came back as a full pop rock band in 2013 haha! FOB have previously worked with Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Elton John, have vocal features from members of Cobra Starship and Gym Class Heroes and were meant to collab with Kanye in the later 2000s but couldn’t due to recording conflicts.

I LOVE FAll Out Boy burt they are not some unique genre of rock. They go right along with Imagine Dragons, One Republic, Zayde Wolf, and X Ambassadors
