Im a World of tanks player and have been for roughly 11years. I tried war thunder best guess 5-6years ago tbh i didnt play much i kinda liked it but was too interested in wot at the time, watching this made me wanna try it again. Any recommendations on tanks you enjoy and have a decent non frustrating (i understand most are frustrating even the best usually) grind and have a decent tank at the end?
If you want to play warthunder dont try to get to modern tanks (top Tier), it takes a lot of time and often times money too. I would try to enjoy older tanks (WW2 and before), its not worth grinding your way to top tier. I would play USSR, Germany or USA all 3 of them have pretty decent tanks.
I am also an ex WoT player, 10+ years. ive tried War Thunder about 2 or so years ago, i can honestly say its so much better as a game than WoT. Especially now with all the pay to win shit in WoT. I would recommend you to get premium account in War Thunder, its really worth it, but look to buy it at 50% off. Premium account gives u much more RP and Silver Lions and it also makes sure you can never go negative "credits" when playing the game, unlike in WoT where you go negative if you spam gold ammo. Also no gold ammo in war thunder and premium tanks are nowhere near as OP as WT community says they are, especially compared to WoT premium tanks. It will take you time to adjust to WT, but in my experience its worth it because the better you get at the game the more enjoyable it becomes. Especially because RNG is simply not a thing in WT as it is in WoT and yeah as someone said, DONT play top tier until you get a good grasp of the game. Its almost and entierly different game at top tier, its good, but it takes getting used to. One more thing the crews in WT, you do not have to retrain them for new tanks or old tanks. Once you train them for one tank you can always bring them back to that tank for free, so you can esentially use the same crew on your first tank and your top tier tank. And once you buy a tank its yours forever you can play it anytime you want no need for garage slots or any of that crap. You can even make tank presets and build your preset of prefered tanks for any tier and play those if you want. Also, its just the amount of detail, features and scale of War Thunder, compared to WoT is outstanding, its okay if it takes you a while to explore everything.
Why? Why is this thing 12.0? It gets worse with each patch. After the recent reload buffs to a lot of top-tier tanks, this tank just became even more obsolete. I'd rather be in a IPM or a2a4... I only play it cuz its the sexiest looking tank IMO
@sluitermelvin you are mad about this guy using bushes event tho at top tier not even bushes will save you from thermal sight so this just proves that you have a giant skill issue
