I never have sawed with a Briggs Blower before. All I ever had was a doodle chain. Looks like a good way to do it though. That piece of bark that make the carriage jump.... I had little pieces of belting bolted on before and after the track rollers that kept all the trash off the track.
@@jeffbrock-y9i yeah our Briggs motor is giving it up… haha. It works well though beats shoveling the dust away between logs, did that for a while. my uncle has a bigger blower he wants to set up somehow. The belt as a sweeper is a good idea
Love when everything on an old mill is purring like that. Nice setup.
hi there that's a real good looking mill and nice sawing .
Thank you
Thanks for the video, enjoyed the 'circle saw' mill!
Nice mill, good sawing, thanks for the video.
Thank you
You gotta love that Detroit Diesel !
Love your sawmill, new sub here.
Thanks and welcome
This is a interesting old set up.
Maine has a boat load of standing Red Oak.
@@maineman11 a lot of the red oak and especially the white pine around here is going bad and it doesn’t bring much at the mill.

Good job guys, thanx
Thanks for watching!
Nice engine
That’s a nice mailing you got there or you gonna build a roof over at all someday
At some point it would be nice. It’s got a cover over the belts and blade.
Bad, bad camera position!
Care to elaborate?
I'm not sure what makes it a bad camera position. I thought the video turned out great.
