Comically, the Raptor R is only great off-road in comparison to the Hummer EV. The Raptor R is massive and heavy, with most of the weight in the front leaving little for rear grip. That just goes to show how horrible the Hummer EV is in all conditions.

If someone gave me $ 120000 and said that I had to spend it on new trucks I would get a new Honda Ridgeline at $ 47230 and a Chevrolet ZR2 with the 3.0 liter diesel at $ 69395 . Approximately $ 3000 more than the Raptor and more than $ 11000 less than the Hummer . The Ridgeline is the best daily driver truck you can buy and the ZR2 does everything that I could ever want in an off road truck . To me dual lockers are the best and the 3.0 gets great range . I think all trucks are overpriced but I think I would get better moneys worth going my way . I don't think I would ever buy any EV as an offroader .
Taking the raptor. I will say the HEV looks good but it’s not gonna worth anything after 7-10 years, and there’s not even enough EV cars yet to justify the production of any sort of EV truck in my opinion.

Coming from someone that had 4 of the 60's 70's Broncos with the 302.. it sure would have been nice to see a coyote motor in the New Bronco. To each his own though..Enjoy what you like.
No way, Bronco Raptor doesn't compare. And it's really bad value. The Bronco and Ranger Raptor have almost the same powertrain and specs, and the Ranger Raptor costs like $35K less than the Bronco. The Ranger Raptor is great value, the Bronco not so much imo.
We may no longer have to worry about mustangs or hellcats showing off and crashing at Car meetups. If those same people get a hold of an even quicker 9,000 lb vehicle we will see unimaginable carnage.

As much as the Hummer in this new form, intrigues me for a lot of different reasons, I have to go with the same as you on track when it comes to the choice here. I think the Hummer is a compelling choice but the wait and the idea that I have to go chasing chargers just seems like a complete waste of time to me. I’ve always enjoyed team TFL‘s reviews on the Raptors, and I think at the end of the day the Hummers, trying to be everything the raptor is useful convenient on filling up, but it still seems the Hummers about 75% baked, were as the raptor is ready to go.
But I need to haul gravel.. My 03' Silverado can handle about 3000lb of gravel in the bed..
I'm not a Ford person, however between the two I'd buy the Ford.
There’s no way you’re not getting a Raptor R for that much money. I think the markup at my local dealer something like 50 K.
Its like comparing a $9 Big Mac vs a $9 Whopper
If its a half pound of grass-fed angus beef its well worth it. See how it works now?
Raptor R ❤
@8:53 I'll always chuckle when car UA-camrs rev engines and use lapel microphones to record the sound, thinking they're actually capturing decent audio.
I don’t think many people would pick the Hummer
You mean you don' t know a lot of people that car about the environment? That's unfortunate. We only have the one planet, and we all have to live here.
Ford Raptor ❤❤
Raptor R every day of the week!
Raptor R all day every day...With our current technology limitations, massive BEVs with insanely large battery packs make no sense. ...now if you took the Hummer EV and cut the battery size to 1/4 and put in a small generator motor, it might start to make sense.
I would not buy either .
If the hummer had a supercharged v8 that would be awesome
Haha - IMO the choice is easy, the Raptor and it’s ICE power plant
The answer to that is NEITHER!
Raptor R every Time
Hummer all day. Love the look. It does drive really heavy, but I'd get used to it.
Combined here you roughly have a home mortgage without any of that pesky appreciation.
They should have gave the hummer a the 6.6 v8 or diesel from the HD line.
Raptor R …! All the way
Taking the raptor. I will say the HEV looks good but it’s not gonna worth anything after 7-10 years, and there’s not even enough EV cars yet to justify the production of any sort of EV truck in my opinion.
The hummer needs gm's inline 3.0 diesel and it would be a great vehicle
I have always wanted a ford raptor so my choice would be the ford raptor
This was absolutely POINTLESS. 🤦🏾♂️
I'd never get an EV....I'm just not that rich....the Raptor is more in my budget. Sure it costs a lot, but it will have resale value.
I would take the third option...a Bronco Raptor! Similar performance but with a lower cost. Great video, Andre! Keep up the good work!
I had a Bronco Raptor.. Have a Raptor R and a Hummer.. The Bronco Raptor in no way compares.. as it lacks the power.
Raptor.
I'll stay in my Ranger Raptor
How is the Hummer 3x more expensive than the first edition?
In the long run the Raptor will hold its value but what is that Hummer gonna be worth in 5 years probably not much it will be obsolete.
If I had that much money I would buy a Rivian R1T 😅
We may no longer have to worry about mustangs or hellcats showing off and crashing at Car meetups. If those same people get a hold of an even quicker 9,000 lb vehicle we will see unimaginable carnage.
It's the RAPTOR and it's not even close
Andre going to show case the new hummer with his 250k electric trailer as his new personal rig. 🤑 Why he is showing all these high dollar items. BTW how much did lightship pay for the commercial / interview Andre did the at their factory? Curios to know.
How can you do a comparison video without even driving them
Where’s the Cybertruck??
Raptor
I love the Hummer. Would take it in a heartbeat over that ICE junker.
