In 2000 his voice is less powerful in many many gigs, not really the minority. Doesn’t mean it’s worse though

Wonderful teaser...looking forward to the full video, thanks! I'm in love with Liam's voice! It's really a miracle that he still HAS a voice, given how roughly he's treated it. Thank God he's taking really good care of it now. I heard him say recently that he's off dairy when he's gigging. And has really cut down on the ciggies...but still loves his lager, of course! I was at Wembley 2000, Glastonbury 2004, Manchester 2005, Wembley 2009 and Manchester 2018 (solo). He could still sing in 2000 but sounded lower and different. Glastonbury 2004 was awful. Manchester 2005 he tried but it didn't even sound like Liam anymore. Wembley 2009 he performed much better but still was struggling. 2018 at old Trafford tops the lot he sounded amazing like a new man even though he had been touring 12 months straight and played songs he just wouldn't of been able to sing 10 years previously. His voice sounds more expressive and clearer now than in 2000 and is closer to the 90's Liam but with a bit less power. His range has improved immeasurably proven by some of his Solo songs like All You're Dreaming Of, Once and For What It's Worth which are hardly the easiest vocals in the world yet he pulls them off live with added passion.

I'd love if you included in your video next video the one time when Oasis played in Leganés, Spain. It was the last gig before Noel left the band in 2000. Liam's performance of Who feels love? Was biblical. His voice was very powerful that night. I've been digging through the SOTSOG your gigs to find a better version but no other performance is better than the one in Leganés. Also, if you decide to include it, there is a video called "Oasis who feels love Leganés fixed". The original one only plays sound from one side instead of both right and left sides

Liam suffers from Hashimoto's Thioryditis or Hashimoto's Disease an autoimmune Thyroid condition, very rare in men and he has a weak immune system because of that as well. He said in an interview because of the disease his voice can be very hoarse, also he had a lots of laryngitis, because of this disease. He had a very late diagnoses, but if he would have had a diagnoses in his early 20s, his voice would have had remained more consistent for a much longer period of time, even though he never learned singing. In 1998 he couldn't sing the high notes (and we are only in 4 years into his singing career), he stopped singing Don't Go Away, Noel sang it in 98, if I remember well, in 2000 his voice only in 6 years changed significantly, he couldn't sing Some Might Say, at least it was very hard to him reach the notes, or skipped them. I followed a lots of "bad style singers", but Liam had the fastest vocal degradation that I saw in my whole life. So I think Liam had his autoimmune Thyroid disease from his early ages, and it makes me sad. But I'm happy that he is back, at least now he has an answer in his pocket and also medications and doctors around him, and I think a good vocal coach...

A classic case of a baritone pulling chest voice for years..eventually losing his upper chest range. He could easily hit those high A’s from My Big Mouth and Some Might Say again if he had proper training to unlock his mixed voice, and could go a lot higher too. He really would need to reconfigure his voice and go for a much lighter sound and sing from the mask. Surprised he hasn’t got a vocal teacher that can make this happen. Im a huge Oasis fan but i seriously dont get the hype over Liams voice. Even in his prime I can't watch most of their live stuff with Liam singing. Theres only a handful where i can actually say "wow he sang this great!". I always either watch Noel's versions or the aforementioned handful. Even now people are saying how great his voice is but i just dont hear it at all. His voice is being viewed through rose tinted glasses and carries a mystique it doesn't really deserve (live performances at least. His album singing is great)

I always considered the Brussels gig in 2000 their very last, powerful performance from both Liam and the band. Nothing has been as close to it as Liam's recent River Thames performance tho, which is a very great sign.

@@fakestradio4741 I agree, it was far from his best performance. What I meant is, for me it was the last full concert that had the proper drive and energy. After that I only saw occasional moments here and there, but never a whole set that blew me away.

What about the gig in Leganés, Spain? Or the one two days before in Mexico City? His 2000 voice sounded almost like 1996, it was like if '96 Liam sang Gas panic. Unfortunately the gig in Spain (may 14th) was stopped because of Alan white's Tendinitis and the gig in Mexico (may 12th or 11th) was recorded with low quality

@@fakestradio4741 You are right, there some mega gigs, a popular one is the superdry mtv gig in Japan 2002 but there also some 2001 gigs where Liam's voice was awesome, especially the ones in south america tour (such tour was a continuation of the SOTSOG tour). Examples are the gigs in Rio and Buenos aires, also one in Caracas, Venezuela, Liam's voice was good but not the recorder, the only take there is includes incomplete perfomances of go let it out and Who feels love?. As for Alan's tendinitis, he had been suffering from tendinitis in his arm since long ago (that's one of the reasons he left the band in 2003, his medical condition wouldn't allow him to continue playing). Specifically, according to the sources I read, Alan's tendinitis got so bad during the gig in Leganés, Spain that he had to stop, and also the whole band because they couldn't play any other song without a drummer. In my opinion Liam's voice that gig was by far the best moment of 2000 Liam's voice. Not Yokohama, not Jools Holland, the very best was Leganés, just ñisten to how long Liam's holds the notes and how clear and uneasy this voice sounded in comparison to other gigs.
