Hey I have a 2018 GTI Autobahn DSG automatic that has about 15000 miles on it. I have to commute in mostly stop and go traffic and have noticed my shifting has been increasingly more jolty. I know the DSG can be picky at times but this feels like it’s getting worse, even when trying to maintain speed between 10-15mph. Anyone have any idea if this is normal? Getting my oil change in 2000 miles so I’ll have the dealer look into it more but I am unsure if it’s DSG or something like the MAF sensor or something. No CEL either. Thanks!
The MotivX funnel for the 2.0L vw is great. It screws in and no spilling or holding while pouring. For under $20, I'd highly recommend picking one up. www.motivxtools.com/products/advanced-engine-oil-funnel-for-newer-1-8l-and-2-0l-vw-vehicles
lol, that made my day! given the fact that thousands of people watch these and i hear about this once a year, the problem is inside you my friend.. lol
If you just listen to one point I’ve made your videos will be better. I always believe you can learn from others and do a better job. Not trying to troll you, just my thoughts. Have a great day.
Did you guys also find 6 quarts put you exactly at middle of crosshatch? Normally, I'd like to be a bit higher on the crosshatch...
Hey Mark, I was driving last week and this nice Golf R was next to me on the freeway, the R was dropped some and sounded good.
cool
Try putting some oil on the o-ring next time it will make the install on the filter a lot easier.( Little Advise)
ya i thought about it, and i usually do.
What keeps everyone from running the magnetic drain plugs that are available?
i just like oem
VW makes a factory one too. I would check ebay see if someone with a GTI is selling it. Mine came with it stock.
what part? a funnel?
or you mean an oil filter socket?
I agree it has to be perfect! I’m the same way
i liked it while i had it tho. and i would like to do a proper hydro dip on those parts to have it flawless if i ever got a chance.
LastHumansGarage hydro dip would look sick! You can do all kinds of cool schemes with that too! Maybe in the future?

a DSG tune solves most of that. stock DSG is clunky as hell
Cool thanks for the reply, I’ll look into that!
what’s up with your video quality? it’s definitely not 1080p
it is 1080p. gopro sucks for lower light situations. if i was outside without the sun shining on it, it would be crystal.

Go throw up, and you will feel better buddy.
I threw up twice due to erratic camera work. Have u tried watching your own video? Please put camera on stand and stop shooting up your nose. Yuk!
