Hey Kirby, I don’t want to take much of your time, but I just wanted to say that you have drastically effected every part of my life from men’s fashion, grooming, even my mannerisms at the dinner table. Being only in high school, I believe that this is a very important time to experience the right influences toward growing properly into a gentleman. Thank you for everything you’ve done, and continue the great work.
P.S. My parents love you because I finally know how to dress on occasion and can differentiate my style from the local cafe and the country club haha

Indeed, agreed, I was already into classic manners and into the gentlemanly world of lost values since the age of 11, but of course I lacked a lot of things but now that I’m 21, I owe many youtubers a lot, we are in some sort of abyss of an era, during which we lost too many values, I’m happy that you took this route, well done. 🎩

You are taking men's fashion to the next level, along long with your product (s) line.
Your channel and the Gentleman`s Gazette are great and let us not forget Hugo Jacomet whose clothing is impeccable

Good linen is incredibly fine and has the heft yet drape that a casual wardrobe needs. 4.8-5 oz/yd is ideal. Cheap linen will be threadbare and rough.

Awesome video Kirby, I spent the winter shopping deals and building out my cotton/ linen summer wardrobe. I look forward to one day going bespoke though.

@@apexeleven3322 My opinion is a myth?
What a stupid comment. "its a myth that all body panels on a car should be the same color". Yea of course they don't have to be. But it looks like absolute crap. This is what we call opinions. If you want to look like a dope in my opinion, go ahead.

It’s pretty cool when you emulate Edward VIII’s style, the tail is ultralong, tucked in the trousers while the blade is way shorter but still looks dapper and has personality.

So interesting content as always😊Personally I like linen best in the summer, but I have begun to wear terry cloth shirts and I find them fantastic. Perfect for those warmer days when you want to take a spontaneous bath.😊

I reached out to Divij to see when he will in the Chicago area (hopefully Oakbrook) as soon as possible. I'd love to meet him and see what we can do to get a suit, a sports jacket and some shirts made. I'd also love to talk to him about some summer clothing made. One of the key lessons I've learned in my short style journey is that the relationship with your tailor matters so much that it can't/shouldn't be understated. I'm eager to meet Divij! Thank you for the recommendation and the video.

Would love to know more about your experience with tailors here in Asia. Here in the Philippines, we don't normally get tailor visits from other countries.
Would be great as well for me to try and maybe have on my menswear UA-cam channel. Thanks Kirby! Been binging your videos lately!

Hey now, Asia actually has great value if you know how to recognize good quality. South Korea, Vietnam are the places I’d recommend, even China. I’m Vietnamese and I know we have 1 true bespoke tailor in HoChiMinh, their name is Cao Minh. A trip to Vietnam should be inexpensive

Cut off shorts are certainly a “thing.” I have a pair of chinos that I wore the knees out of so I hemmed them as shorts and they look great.

    Hello
    1. Love your content. Keep it up!
    2. I have some problems building my wardrobe:
    a. In my country, we do not have decent quality cobblers, tailors, cleaning services. So I couldn't take care of shoes or fix fitting on any clothing item, except basic missions like cuffing.
    b. I am 30+, and own many items that does not fit well, and most of them low quality in regards to your recommendations.
    3. If I buy online, I will need to pay about 25-35% more for each item on taxes, excluding expensive shipping fee (if available)
    4. My budget is yet undefined. I need to start small...
Taking these into consideration, I still want to start my journey of style. My taste is tending more to the Italian style (brands like Stefano Ricci, Zilli, Kiton are very appealing to me).
From what I've learned, these are my favorites:
Shoes - Antonio Meccariello (not cheap but still affordable RTW/MTO),
Meermin (not sure I will go for it, the Chinese making seems cheap)
Stefano Bemer (too expensive at this point)
Clothing & Acc (shirts, suits, Blazers, trousers, ties):
    Marol (too expensive for now)
Stefano Ricci/Zilli (super expensive, but good deals on eBay and isuit.it)
Divij (I was amazed from his website, and your video together, seems like a
very good choice and value for money)
Am I in the right direction? Could you recommend other makers/brands
    Thanks and all the best
    Lio

This was a wonderful video, but it didn't really give any information other than an infomercial for Divij. The fabrics are fine, but there was no distinction between Dry Heat weather i.e. Texas, or Wet Heat like Florida, Louisiana, anywhere in the south. Nor how said materials would react in those kinds of conditions. I love the videos you put out, but this really didn't tell us anything other than highlight Divij incredible work.

Divij is my least favourite tailor, not a fan of what he does and he isn't a humble person which doesn't rub well., case and point look at the left shoulder stitch of the suit he is wearing.
