The 8oz costs the equivalent of 42 USD on the Dutch Notino site at the moment. We’re getting shafted over here continually when it comes to frag pricing!!
Very unique, special and distinctive smell, one of the most beautiful smells and it is fresh too. The first time I smelled it I said "I remember that I have smelled this when I was a kid", immediately brought meback to the 70's. In one word it is unique. Greetings from Mexico.
Just came across your video when I was about to put my bottle up for sale on Mercari. I have the 2.5 oz. bottle. Only tried it once when I first got it and then put it aside. Tried it again today and I think I'm going to keep it!
That's my current cologne from 1972 when I was 7 years old! I now alternate between that and Royal Copenhagen 1970 (smells like a 1970s barber shop). I use them to remind me of my Grandpa, dad and uncle (all have passed away), so I love it. Jaipur Homme by Boucheron I also love. I also associate Pierre C with 1970s classic Playboy and Esquire magazines and their ads - the 70s magazines have a different look. Lmao. I love the early 70s and the later disco years.
I was also 9 years old in 1972 ............. old dog I am, but this fragrance is one of my favorites, and I have it sometimes in my wardrobe, it's kind of spicy and woody, and it last 6 hours plus on my skin, but in the past this cologne was a bomb .............. reformulations have changed and damage a lot of fragrances but PIERRE CARDIN has kept a lot of its integrity and solid base ........... I love QUORUM, ARAMIS, and YATAGAN as the most beloved fragrances among my favorites.
That bottle reminded me of Wesson cooking oil bottle -- Eight ounces! 🤣 I was feeling nostalgic today, too, so I wore some vintage Old Spice. The 70s were a fun time for me as a teenager.
Hahaha!! Actually it does look like a Wesson cooking oil bottle!! 😆 Good for you. I absolutely love Old Spice! I was thinking about the 70's while I was doing this review and having fond memories about how simple life was and much more innocent things were back then compared to now and almost got choked up a bit. If someone told me back then how things would be in 2022 I'd run and thought that person was insane!
@@danielsan3681 Same here. The music from the mid 60s on into the 70s was the best part -- and if you were a kid, BMX bikes! 🤣 Kids today fold up like a card table if they lose phone reception.
Some one made me think about my first fragrance memory. 1983, I was 14yrs old and headed to my first school dance. I had on a a silvery grey suit pink shirt and a black tie. I was dressed, super nervous ready to walk to the car so Mom could drop me off at the school. My Dad looked me head to toe and gave me a nod of approval. Then he says wait a min. Goes and gets his Pierre Cardin and sprays my neck on both sides and smiles and really nods his head up and down. I felt like he sprayed me with magic. -My love of fragrance was birthed in that moment ❤
That was one of my top perfumes from the 80’s. I loved it with passion. A few months ago I developed a deep nostalgia for smelling this perfume once again, so I bought a bottle from Maxorama. To my disappointment, what I got smelled nothing like the smell I remember. I don’t know if what I got was not genuine or something so watered down and modified since the 80’s that what it smells today is a very far cry from what the perfume was in the 80’s.
Blue collar reviewer? No! You're aristocracy!! 👑🤴👑🤴 I've never tried this one but I saw it advertised at very low prices a few years ago when I started to get into fragrances. I wonder if the price has gone up?
I had an aunt who like clock work I would get Jovan Musk. I loved the original Jovan, on me it smelled great. High school girls loved the smell on me, I would never tell them what I wore, they would ask. I had Drakkar splash cologne that was beast mode as a splash on. Today stuff is so weak. As for the cologne you are talking about, a brother-in-law gave me a bottle in the early 90s. I tried it once and never put in on again. The one I enjoyed was sterling in the 90s as a cheap everyday wear. Do a review on sterling, I'm sure it is really weak now and not even the same smell.

I’m 61. I’ve been wearing that since I was a teenager when my Dad gave me a bottle for Christmas

Oh man! I'm sorry that happened. Maxaroma is pretty reliable. Maybe it's been horribly reformulated like everything else! 😥😡
I plan on getting my hands on a bottle of this. I absolutely fell in love with PS Fine and anything that smells anything like it must be tried.
Great review Daniel 👍😀
I confess...I've never put my nose on this Classic. One for these days, for sure. Enjoyed the review. Cheers!
The bottle “emerging” from the bottom of my screen was hilarious. It just kept going…. and going…. and going… 😂😂😂
Hahaha! It's huge!!! 😆😂
Looking good Daniel!
Thank you Mr Zepster!! 🙏🙂
....hemmm....nostalgia parfume
Dimana mendapatkannya lagi ya
You look good with goatee 😍
Good one. I purchased a bottle at a local Ross store last year
Oh cool! I hope you like as much as me. 🙏
@@danielsan3681 I like it of course. However there are others from my collection that I like more.

You are kind buddy. 🙏
The prices have gone up but not to much. 8oz is about $23.00 American.
2.8oz about $15.00. Still incredibly inexpensive. 🙂👍
I got this for 12 bucks
Gunna see how other like it around and I’ll comment back months from now
Nice!
Yes, please do. 🙏
What’s the difference between the two? There’s one in a green box and then the other in a black box.
Hey buddy. 🙏
The green box is supposed to be a Eau de Toilette, but I find them to be exactly the same, no difference in my opinion. 👍
I have me another 8 oz bottle on the way. 👍
Bom dia eu preciso do zap dessa loga
Good morning to you also. ❤️
Are you from Portugal?
Still my fav to this day. In my opinion cologne today smells to feminine. Pierre cardin and obsession smell like us men should smell. Like a man
Hey buddy! 🙂
I agree and agree! 🙏
They want to market the new crapy scents
