As a punk/metal guitarist since the early '80s I can only say one thing - I totally love "Club Music" and IMO DJ Sammy, Loona and Nadia Ali are up at the top of my most favoured artists EVER - FULL STOP.
There were so many stars, there was only time for a taster from each of them. Lean and fit, Liberty X played their next single, Jumping. Despite a sore throat, Kym Marsh managed to sing her two hits Come On Over and Cry before DJ Sammy lit up the stage with Heaven. Guitar-wielding trio Busted got a huge roar as they scissor-kicked their way through Year 3000 and What I Go To School For - Charlie Simpson was particularly energetic. But new single Sleeping With the Light On was a dreamy ballad. Former member of 5ive, energetic Abs, showed an impressive set of dance moves singing Stop Sign and new single Miss Perfect, a slice of slinky, soulful R `n' B pop. Then, in matching flying jackets and trousers, Girls Aloud took to the stage to give new single Life Got Cold an outing. It was good to see the return of Mark Owen - he was a highlight, with infectious new single Four Minute Warning. Dressed in black with a red tie, he got the crowd to sing Flower of Scotland. Gorgeous boy band Triple 8 rocked the stage with new single Give Me A Reason. A banner reading Looking Incredible Sounding Awesome (LISA) greeted a nervous Lisa Scott-Lee and her disco-influenced single Too Far Gone. Ten man Blazin' Squad sang the irritating Crossroads and catchy Reminisce. Then, bringing some R `n' B attitude were Big Brovaz, with single Baby Boy. Excited David Sneddon bounded on to the stage with a Scotland flag and shouted: "I've dreamed about this." He sang his hits Stop Living The Lie, Don't Let Go and new single Best Of Order before grabbing host Suzie McGuire for a snog. Then foxy Mis-Teeq brought some girl power to the crowd with hit Scandalous. Between sets, DJ Suzie McGuire played Cilla Black, trying to find a little girlfriend for nine- year-old Cyrus Danesh (Darius' little brother) - he must be following in his big brother's footsteps. Next came the man himself. Shaven-haired and sporting bug-eyed shades, Darius yelled, "I'm home' - as his long legs covered one side of the stage to the other in around three strides. After performing Rushes and Incredible, he scaled some scaffolding, tied a Scotland flag to it and stayed there to sing Girl On The Moon. Time for the babes to hit back, as Danni Minogue sang I Begin to Wonder and Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling. Groovy Sugababes' hits Freak Like Me, Stronger and Round Round went down well, too, while Javine proved she's got a bright future ahead as she sang Real Things. Then, looking like a gang of hillbillies, Denmark's Junior Senior got the crowd up for a party with Move Your Feet and new single Rhythm Bandits. The slick boys from Blue closed the day and by now the noise was deafening. They wowed the crowd with All Rise, One Love, Fly By and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word. she wasn't big in the UK but she has been successful in Germany, did a cover of a Turkish song at the same time we had Holly Valance covering one, also covered Eric Clapton's tears in heaven and a few Spanish covers too.

@@esecallum El Arenal - oh wow. The first time I got a plane abroad with my GF back in '94. Teletext last minute holiday - El Arenal - Full of Germans. The Brits stayed closer to Magaluf. The water park was great. Best McDonalds I have ever had in my life it has to be said.
Shut up, gweeto. Let her sing. My ex painted a picture. Then left me. I didn't make the cash to support a family. Well, I do now. My new lady is 10 years younger than the last.
This isn't a "performance". The "singer" is just lip-synching to the pre-recorded track. That's not her actual voice that you're hearing. There's no way in hell I'd pay to see this.
It's pretty clear that Loona was actually singing here to the backing track, and very well indeed. The "guitarist" is clearly a deliberate joke to the corporate organizers of this event. There are more famous protests by much more famous bands where they swap instruments, etc. midway in the pre-recorded act to embarrass the old stooges in charge of the record labels.
@@Drew-Dastardly Yeah, I think you're right. The problem is they didn't mute the pre-recorded vocals in the backing track. It sounds exactly like the original singer of the song plus Loona. It's harder to tell for the second song since Loona is the original singer of "Boys of Summer". But the first song "Heaven" was not sung by her; it was sung by Do. You can clearly tell Loona is singing alongside Do's vocals, which is what annoyed me. So yeah, I was wrong to say she was "lip-synching", but I still have a problem with how they didn't mute the pre-recorded vocals because if I wanted to hear pre-recorded vocals, I'd just stay home and listen to the MP3 on my computer.
