      Thank You ❤️ I had them made from a local small business. I looked for options that didn't ship or that weren't too far of a drive because usually the shipping fee's are more than the actual item.

    Hi this is beautiful! How are you attaching the balloons to the backdrops? And also how did you attach the floral foam to the backdrop. I couldn’t tell. Thanks!

    • @Jackies.Touch.
      @Jackies.Touch.  2 роки тому

      Hi, Thank You 💜 I attached them using heavy duty clamps I got off of amazon. I'll link them below. And I attached 360 balloons to the clamps and tied the balloon garlands to that. I used two clamps for the larger balloon garland on the arch wall and only one on the smaller garland. I attached the floral foam to the wickey chair using zipties.

    Where did you get the pampas and palm leaves? Having a hard time locating the perfect one…#bingewatching your channel all day

    • @Jackies.Touch.
      @Jackies.Touch.  Рік тому +1

      These pampas and the palm leaves, I took a risk and ordered them off of Aliexpress, they took almost a month to arrive. But they ended up being very good. Minimal shedding and the stem wasn't flimsy. I did order some smaller palm leaves from amazon, but it was just the smaller ones. The palm leaves were also very good, i've had them for over a year and they haven't broken. Just remember to look at the reviews when buying. That always helps me when shopping online.

    Hi! I love your work! Im trying to figure out how to attach the dry foam onto the wall without using duck tape, did you put two foam bricks together using a stick then use clips to attach it to the wall? What kind of clips are those? Thank you soooo much in advance.

    • @Jackies.Touch.
      @Jackies.Touch.  2 роки тому +1

      Hii 👋🏼 Thank You!! I had ordered a plastic flower insert for it but it did not arrive on time. If it had arrived on time, then I would have just clipped it to the wall. But, I had to improvise and glue two rectangular foam bricks together and then cut four rectangle pieces of foamboard and glue two of them together. I then glued one rectangle piece of foamboard to each end of the foam bricks and then used two plastic clips to clip it onto the wood arch wall.
      In the video you see that it got loose a little, I would recommend placing the florals on the foamboard (after glueing the rectangular foam pieces) before clipping it onto the wall.
      The plastic clips I used were these off of Amazon:

    Just found your channel and I'm super glad.. I've got a question though after the event what do you get to keep or is everything paid for by the client (except for the rentals of course). Like for example you talked of using clamps for the balloons also the flower sheath and the balloons, my question is what do you take back after the event is done? Goodness I'm hoping I'm making sense lol

    • @Jackies.Touch.
      @Jackies.Touch.  Рік тому +1

      Hello 👋🏼 I believe I understand what you mean, just let me know if I answered you or not ... You take everything, anything that is not customized or a special order for the event is taken back because it is considered a "rental" for example, you said the clamps and the flowers, those are just materials, you are using to create the event, the use of those materials and what you use to buy them should be included in your "Service Fee" this fee is a fee that is added to the total of the event. To calculate the service fee, I would estimate the mileage I would be going (to and from the event location) and I would add that to my flat fee of $75. With that service fee, I would buy those basic materials I need for every event. Sometimes they break or sometimes you need to buy different things for different events. But to answer your question, you are taking everything that is not personalized or a special order. Anything that you personalized is for example, an entrance sign with the clients name, a sign, or a custome backdrop. Vinyl lettering on a wooden wall, would just be removed, there is no way to take it off and not mess it up. The client has to understand that they are not to keep anything unless otherwise specified. Everything is considered a rental. If they wish to keep the balloons they can, I usually pop them at the event location and sometimes they ask if they can keep. But florals and things like that, have to be returned. I've had animal, or bear themed events weere my clients wanted to keep the stuffed animals and because I count them at the end before I leave the event, I notice them missing and they have to return it. Unless they pay for it. And usually the items we use aren't cheap.
