After watching this movie, I did not feel any sort of empowerment as a woman. It made me feel as though girls complain a lot and can’t handle army. However, if i wasn’t to be so blinded by my own emotions and judge this movie, I would say it isn’t good. From the acting to the plot.

Wow I actually hate this shit. I'm embarrassed to think that this movie and masterpieces like ilo ilo are from the same country. I haven't even watched this movie but I already hate it. What the actual fuck. What's with this same ol army movie laziness. YES, that's what this is. Downright lazy. You did decent in you first 2 abtm movies so you quite literally copy pasted the formula 2 more times and once you couldn't go past reservist then you did what? Changed it from Ah boys to Ah girls. That's not the problem that you made it Ah girls. I infact love the narrative storyline of showing a females perseverance in a male dominated role but Jack neo will botch the living shit out of it. Cringe lines, recycled plot backbone and pathetic cinematography. Please spare us and stop making these movies or hand over the project to someone else. LOL
@@Randomvideos-zi7peABTM3 was a combo of the first and second with a "what if" twist. I agree that it had some really good potential character story arcs. Lobang's story of a broken home and the struggles of dealing with NS and running a home like that is in itself a brilliant story but was tossed into a movie with so many other side plots happening. If the movie focused on the journey through NS via Lobang's eyes and how he tackled all of what we saw while maintaining that household without all the other unnessecary sideplots, the movie would've been loads better. Every other plot is literally from ABTM 1 and 2. Aloysius is a wayang king, ken chow is a brat who wants to leave and we have one or two people of other races for filler or comic relief. Lobang's AWOL was the only interesting thing but that also shot and executed badly.

During my bmt after 24 km rm and we threw our jockey caps celebrating the end of the 9 weeks, everyone was in high spirits proud for having completed this rite of passage and then they played Ah boys to men recruit anthem. At that moment all the other recruits started boo ing and the hokkien vulgarities started flying at the parade square realising that bmt was commercialised and made to seem fake in that one moment. And that was the reaction towards a generally well received movie. Imagine what horrors this will do to the SAF's image and Singaporeans (serving and not serving) and girls alike.
I can't help but think it's just the haters being jealous that their fellow Singaporeans are more successful than those poor excuses of Singaporeans...I have watched all of the Ah Boys To Men movies and their drama series,they are good!ABTM 1 & 2 is the Digimon Adventure 1 to ABTM 3's Digimon Adventure 2,where ABTM 1 & 2 are more intense with the conflict between the gengsters and the good ones,before they learnt to be better soldiers and being willing to help each other as a team,while ABTM 3 is lighter and softer in conflict,with Wayang King being not so detestable amongst the lazy ones,even being willing to blend in with them...At worst he is just not street-smart enough for his own good,so he still has a long way to go...ABTM 4 is the best,maybe because I have already ORD-ed 7 years ago,so I can relate better with the NSMen,as we can see the real side of what NSMen can have...Spoiler Alert from here: PS Ong is the superior to his employer in his workplace,and said employer abused his authority,knowing full well that Alex will do everything he can to cover his Boss,until Alex had enough,and blasted at his Boss,before deciding to quit in his face...And then we have I P Man being the sore loser,poor excuse of a man that many delinquents(chao ah beng) are,as he got defeated by a woman(his PC) in a fight,and he brightened up from his sian look when SGT Ong asked if he wants to call the Police to have the assailant arrested,showing the sore loser side of chao ah bengs like I P Man,making this movie more realistic...
ok not criticism, just things i’ve noticed the intro music seems like it’s ready to ‘let it go’ what’s with the “3,2,1 we are ready!”? at least the ah boys to men lyrics make sense but this one just sounds like a lazy rhyme. the steady thing seems like a piggyback off of ah boys to men’s running joke the choreography for the first 5s of the chorus has potential then it just drops due to the lack of energy overall the song seems like it was rushed to be finished and the motive was just “eh, ah boys to men had a song. Let’s make a song for this one also”
nice movie but not yet complete but if you watched you know the message of teaching this girls to be more discipline and to be unite because they are all different personalities but can see that the movie will focus to be unite to protect the country so waiting the part 2 .I love the part songs also
