Always let VoicePlay/Geoff Catellucci videos run until the patron roll or you may miss a special ending. You asked us to stay to the end, stay to the end of their videos.
Layne is their vocal percussionist, and he is right up there with Adam (Home Free) and Kevin (Pentatonix) in percussion, unexpected sound effects, AND vocals.
Don't be so quick to end the video. A lot of times Voice Play pauses for a dramatic ending. Other than that , thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play ❤️
I'm old, never heard the song, never heard of the show, didn't know anything about what was going on. Didn't matter because it was Voiceplay! They are absolutely outstanding. So glad you finally got back to them. Please react to their Wicked Medley, trust me! And check out Geoff's cover of Elvis' Way Down or Bill Withers Ain't No Sunshine. With Voiceplay and Geoff, do not stop until the Patron list rolls, you might miss something as you did with this one. Also, with Geoff, keep the closed captioning on, he throws humor in from time to time. Great reaction, subscribed in anticipation of more Voiceplay and Geoff!
Do go back and catch the little scene at the end. Layne is the vocal percussionist, Eli is the tenor on the left, Ashley is in the middle and Cesar is on the right.
Great reaction! Geoff at the beginning and the end has this weird deep bass with weird tonality, I was hoping you would comment on this, but I really enjoyed your reaction!
Back in the 80s, many people didn't really know how to react to Kate Bush, her songs, her performances and videos. I've not yet heard anyone who can do justice to her voice either. This was classic VoicePlay, their interpretation is amazing! Btw, when you see the scene this song is used in (which threw it into the limelight again), you'll see why it was chosen.
0 seconds ago Geoff Castellucci released a new video yesterday morning. The Rains of Castamere from Game to Thrones. He portrays the Lannister men. His best by far.
Yawn space has a wide demographic of tonality? No idea what that means. The most I remember about my music teacher was "Good morning. This is Sibelius. Listen" and I dropped the subject asap. And all I know about demographics is that at 69 I don't fit Netflix's target demographic, and I've only seen season 1 of Stranger Things. But it's a Kate Bush song that's a pleasure to see/hear VoicePlay and Ashley Diane perform.
You've done a PTX series and also a Home Free series but you have not done a Voiceplay series! Why not? They have covered so many brilliant songs and each time made them their own, adding the Voiceplay magic touch to each one. Dream On, Hoist the Colours, this one obviously (great ending you missed, by the way!) The Dragonborn Comes, Enemies, Warriors, the list is (almost) endless. Then of course there are the ones by Geoff soloing with himself! There is something for all musical theatre tastes, pop, rock, Disney, and I have loved most of them. The one or two I was not so keen on I just replayed a few times and they really do grow on you. You really must try to do a series, just one per week as with Home Free Fridays would do. I love your take on music as it is much more honest and knowledgable than a lot of others trying to do supposedly similar reactions, a lot of reactors coming across as 'trying to please' rather than 'this is my opinion of this'! If it's crap, it's crap. People may disagree but it it your opinion that matters on this channel, and you are better informed than a lot of people when it comes to music. Magic finger out, Voiceplay in, please!
@@TempleMusicAcademy I don’t know what you’re doing to be blocked by them. They do not block. They are self produced - no record company trying to protect their product . This is how they get their publicity. They do notify that they are copyrighted because they want to be monetized. But they do not block. I think I watched just about every reaction to VoicePlay, even those in foreign languages that I don’t understand. And you are one of the very few that states they’ve been blocked. Are you going directly from their channel? I really enjoy your reactions and I would like to hear more of your analysis, so I hope you figure it out.
@@TempleMusicAcademy what does aggressive on the blocks mean. Voice Play & Geoff never block. They love their work to be shared. It may be UA-cam itself doing the blocking. Anyway Voice play always tuck in a little Easter Egg in their videos. In the beginning when Ashley closes the tape recorder you will see Voice Play written on the label. I had to play that part in super low speed in order to stop & see what was written on it.
suggestion The plagues (prince of Egypt) cover by Caleb holes and Jonathan young Bells of Notre Dame & Hellfire ( the hunchback of Notre Dame ) metal covers by Jonathan young
My question is not specific to this song but what is the word in musical notation which best describes when a voice has a distinctly 'hollow' sound. Not just head vs. chest because i have only heard one performer do it where it was obvious. Thanks if you can help.
Hi - A Suggestion - Avi Kaplan and his band's a bit different from the last time you reacted to him. Music video "I'm Only Getting Started " produced by Shooter Jennings - genre change from what you've heard from Avi. I assume Voiceplay won't be upset they don't compete with Avi. I do really enjoy this video of Stranger Things Running Up that Hill. Have you listened to Encanto from Voiceplay yet?

You missed Ashley dropping from the sky at the end since you didn't let it run to the credits.
Also missed the first few bars of the performance.
Always watch til their patreon runs to see everything.
he shoulda stayed to the end 😂
Layne is their vocal percussionist, and he is right up there with Adam (Home Free) and Kevin (Pentatonix) in percussion, unexpected sound effects, AND vocals.
Yes he is & some people don't realize that Layne is very unique & never follows in anybody's footsteps. He is all original.
As other have said you really have to let VoicePlays videos run on a bit so you don't miss the end.
You should always Voiceplay videos until the credits so you don't miss something (like you did on this one).
Don't be so quick to end the video. A lot of times Voice Play pauses for a dramatic ending. Other than that , thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play ❤️
It's amazing how they can do all those sounds with just their vocals.
You can't stop too soon. Please wait until the Patreon subscribers begins. VoicePlay does last second stuff and you miss a lot if you hurry the end!
Yay!! Finally more VoicePlay!!
There are so many Voiceplay songs that you should react to. They've sent out several recently.
I'm old, never heard the song, never heard of the show, didn't know anything about what was going on. Didn't matter because it was Voiceplay! They are absolutely outstanding. So glad you finally got back to them.

That's true for me too. 😊 A friend showed me the clip so I understand it better. X
Do go back and catch the little scene at the end. Layne is the vocal percussionist, Eli is the tenor on the left, Ashley is in the middle and Cesar is on the right.

The "synth" sounds are added post recording by using voice modulation.
While this is cute, I believe their recent upgrade of Imagine Dragons "Enemy" with Alexa is killer. Their best to date.
I'm not a kb fan or into the electronic music.. But I love that Vp have modernised it but is still very much recognised as the original.
Tsk tsk! Number one rule with Voiceplay...always let it play until the Patrons list rolls!

Missed the ending. lol.

I agree Trevor! Sadly, voice play is very aggressive on the blocks that’s why I limit the reactions to them n

Audio on the video way too low. Barely hear them sing. You sound like your yelling.
Yeah, you need to check your levels, you're wearing headphones but the rest of us can barely hear the song..! 😐
