    Well I think that the comparison with deeprock galactic falls a bit on its face: sure you dont pick up items that add complexity. But every class has items that are synergistic towards efficient movement and mineral collection. If every teammate know what they are doing (e.g how to place platforms, efficient drilling etc.), the levels just CLICK. They are like large puzzles. As a game its about different THINGS than vermintide imo.
    Also: a large part of vermindite is just "numbers up" as well. The hunt for the best gear and the best loadouts can take a looong while.
    Additional thought: There are some enemies that do similar things (area denial, displacement) to the specials in vermintide, but they are not as emphasized in the gameplay. To say that they do not exist, would be incorrect.
