[3.23 SSF] | Viper Strike of the Mamba Pathfinder is UNDERRATED

In this video I go over a new transfigured gem build that really caught my attention, I go over a summary of how this build works, from the offence to defense and everything in between!
My version of this build is still in early stages of development but I still get through T16 maps like butter.
During the video I totally forgot to mention how we actually spread the poison around like an ignite and that is due to the Pathfinder Ascendancy node "Master Toxicist"

Honestly wondering how thiss will be on chieftain with the crazy 7 link ancestral call and splash from the mastery

Very interesting take, so you would spread the poison with ancestral call and melee splash? Would have to test how good that works in game. I think it's hard to beat the defense from Pathfinder in the current meta but personally I have not played the reworked Chieftain so I can't say for sure.
There is another version of this build going around and it's a Crit version that can be played Pathfinder or Assassin and I'm pretty sure that would output even more DPS but with sacrificing defense and I personally don't enjoy glass cannons, and I play strictly SSF where it's much harder to put together a Crit build.

@mattsu7 yea mele splash from the mastery should be enough, i am not saying its better just cheaper and more starter friendly

@@Vulgaels Yeah of course :) It's actually really cheap and easy to get this build going on a Pathfinder due to the Ascendancy Notable "Master Toxicist" which spreads your poison to nearby enemies upon killing the first enemy, this is how we get the ignite effect going. After that it's just a matter of getting more poison DPS and some melee strike range.

Did you get all 4 voidstones in SSF with viper strike? I want to go full SSF next league and still think about my build

Yes, this build can most definitely get 4 voidstones, but if you want to do this easily you NEED cluster jewels with Low Tolerance, so it might not be the best league-starter unless you're okay with farming Delirium.

@@mattsu7 Not sure if I should go Caustic Arrow and then swap over to Viper Strike, Ascendancy is anyway the same. My other idea is Lightning Conduit/Storm Brand Elementalist.

@@m.h.4907 Caustic Arrow is a great idea, can also do Toxic Rain if you want. Storm conduit elementalist is also a great starter, just depends what you're looking for.
