This song is truly written by a genius. It's about the internal struggles we all face through life and our impending self doubt. The self doubt happens because of our knowledge of what we each learn through our life's. Each persons knowledge base is difference because we all have different paths. It makes us look at other people as if they are the crazy ones when in fact they look at us as if we are crazy. He is stating his acceptance of being crazy based on difference to put it aside and move forward. Truly a brilliant song with deep meaning.

"Crazy" é uma jornada introspectiva e alucinante pelas profundezas da mente e do coração. A música nos convida a questionar a sanidade, a realidade e os limites da paixão. A letra revela camadas de significado que se desvelam a cada audição. O eu lírico nos leva a um labirinto de emoções conflitantes: amor, loucura, solidão e a busca por uma identidade. A frase "I remember when I lost my mind" é um ponto de partida para essa jornada.
One time in school, we had to come up with a mini-story based on this song. For some reason everyone in my class wrote about a some couple dancing in a club or something very similar to that. I on the other hand wrote about a stalker who was watching his target go on dates. The thing is that we had to present it to eachother in groups. I have never felt the vibe drop as hard as it did that day.
The animation is just fluidly transitioning Rorsharch ink blots. The conceptualisation to juxtapose the song's exposition on being "Crazy", with a psychological test (often used to evaluate if someone is 'crazy') is quite interesting.
There's been some pop acts that have been putting out great content. I really enjoy Miike Snow. Check out their album "iii". Great melodies and production. Pretty unique stuff.
Why not? I'm listening to Necrophagist and put this on in between songs. Being metalhead doesn't mean you can't appreciate other genres. On the contrary.
It doesn't matter how anyone finds this song. If you've sought it out, then I would say that you are a person with impeccable taste who loves a true soul classic. People will be finding solace in this song, decades from now.
The fact that this song captures my personal nostalgia yet connects to my present moment at the same time gives me the chills. Such a timeless piece. People in the future will value this as well. So glad this treasure will not be thrown away
This is ok, but check out when he sings it at Darryls house, it comes alive. Too bad Darryl is singing at the certain times, would've been even better without him
One of the best songs I’ve ever heard. The message resonated a lot with me when I was younger; there was so much synchronicity with how I was perceiving myself and the world listening to this song for the first time that almost everything I was understanding felt validated. Delivery of each of the verses into the chorus is brilliant. I still put messages like this in my songs.
I didn't realize this is C-lo singing! Now that I know, I can't believe I couldn't hear his distinctive voice. Of course I hear it clearly now. Love that man. He's good stuff! And this song is so amazing. The lyrics are so profound.
For me it was when I got my first MP3 player, my father had put this song on it along with all the popular pop songs of the era. I still have it, and I don’t plan on throwing it out.
You'll be golden, weird and hard times, it will be okay. Kicking those freaking demons of substance abuse is like climing Mt. Everest but minus any help. Good on you
Yes I totally agree, I am nearly 15 and I think it is amazing how when you were around my age you loved this song and now people who are 15 still love it :)
I lost my mind then found it again & this song provided so much clarity in knowing I wasn't as crazy as I thought as we are all just different kinds of Crazy! 🤪🤭🫡 Ha ha ha! Ironic.
The team of creative producers were simply brilliant! In all these years of listening and watching, I had never realized that the music and the clip of the lyrics linked the state of mind and the Rorscharch test in such a subtle way - with the splash of paint on the screen - Insane!
LYRICS I remember when I remember, I remember when I lost my mind There was something so pleasant about that place Even your emotions have an echo in so much space And when you're out there, without care Yeah I was out of touch But it wasn't because I didn't know enough I just knew too much Does that make me crazy? Does that make me crazy? Does that make me crazy? Possibly And I hope that you are having the time of your life But think twice That's my only advice Come on now, who do you Who do you, who do you Who do you think you are? Ha ha ha, bless your soul You really think you're in control? Well I think you're crazy I think you're crazy I think you're crazy Just like me My heroes had the heart To lose their lives out on a limb And all I remember, is thinking I wanna be like them Mmhmm ever since I was little Ever since I was little it looked like fun And it's no coincidence I've come And I can die when I'm done But maybe I'm crazy Maybe you're crazy Maybe we're crazy Probably ooh hmm
Since I was 10 years old, my father listened to this song a lot and I simply loved the vibe, and even though I didn't understand the lyrics (English is not my native language), I thought the melody was very beautiful. Today I'm 19 and I still like this song as I liked it in my childhood (and my father keeps listening lol)🥺

Every time when I come to the comments I hope to find people who feel the same as me about this song, and finally I did, this is what I felt when listening Crazy. Everybody talks about the beat and the music, that of course is amazing, but the lyrics, man, is something else, so deep and meaningfull
This song reminds me of my brother. When this comes on the radio while I'm shopping I immediately record a snippet and send it to him. In my mind's eye I see him dancing and saying "Who do you think you are... hahaha bless your soul." hehe good memories.

I remember when this was released, I had this on repeat for weeks. But you have to have the volume up some to really get it to stick to your bones. Just an incredible timeless song. Celo Green is a beast.
At first, I actually thought it was a female voice someone like Macy Gray and absolutely loved it. It wasn’t until a couple weeks or a month later I learned it was CeeLo! Fantastic vocals.
This song has so much truth to it especially if you're living or experiencing what he's Singing through his lyrics. Better yet you don't have to necessarily be in that realm or atmosphere just in a situation where you took a step back and for one moment step outside of yourself and observed and felt every around you from every point of view and aspect past future everything then returned to yourself before you made a certain decision.
My mom used to play this song all the time full blast in the car when I was little. This song brings so much nostalgia. Good memories actually. I love this song so much. No matter how old it gets. She’s schizophrenic now and our relationship is pretty strained. We were so much closer then. I was driving a few days ago and this song came on on the radio. I started crying.
Vocals from old songs don't suddenly become ugly after a large amount of time has passed, now beat structure and things like flows / melodies start to sound outdated but vocals never just switch up and get ugly. Frank Sinatra, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouze , Nina Simone etc etc still have beautiful voices even after all this time

The chorus and verse is a direct sample from a Spaghetti western named "Nel Cimitero di Tucson". All the producers did was set the samples to a house disco beat and then they put the vocal over the top of that. That's all there was to the song.

Shit man, I understand your pain.
Honestly that fits better
I think of a joker style man, killed someone but feels bad for feeling emotions that were good about it (the “who do you think you are” line)
