What I love about Jude is that not only is he a fan and has seen the movies and shows he also brings up stuff like Light and Magic. This is what I want from my Star Wars actors.
Me too! Live action Hondo would be amazing! I feel like he’d be the exact right type of cameo. Well known enough to get animated fans excited, but not so well known that it would detrract from the focus of the show being on the kids.
A question that shows he knows what he is talking about. Episode 4 was not called A New Hope in 1980. It was simply called Star Wars. The title A New Hope was added in 1981 for the theatrical re-release.
Agree. I think it gets a separate ranking just because it was the birth of something so groundbreaking, but I think we should give ourselves the freedom to rank things regarding how much we enjoy them at the moment of that question. Importance isn't the same as enjoyment. I was so hyped for TPM and TFA that they will always get ranked higher because of what they meant to me at the time of their release and the hope and excitement I felt for them made them very special for nostalgic reasons. Star Wars is so wonderful because of what each set of films mean to the viewer on a personal level and where they were in their lives when they saw them first. I'm 45 yo for context, haha. Skeleton Crew has me more excited for SW than I've been since 2014 because now I have three small sons to enjoy it with. I think it's really great so far and I'm hyped! Cheers.
Well, I dunno about the rumor, but it felt like the kids have jumped to another galaxy based on the "legendary" status of their planet as seen by the pirates.
Hah! You can see Jude Laws treading so so delicately here and he's been told to as well. Distancing himself from the shite that Disney had put out since they took over, aligning himself with the successful stuff. He gets himself in a bit of a corner, but you can see he doesn't really give a shit at all! Coz he's not a nerd like the interviewer. 😂 He just wants to do some good promotion. It's refreshing to see an interview where it's about the IP and not identity politics etc.
Its an age thing. Im same age as Jude so yes, Empire is the best one for us. Glad he mentions Rogue One because it IS the only good SW movie, Disney have done. IMO. Im hoping SC is without political agendas and all about story.

Crazy how he gave so much yet nothing new at all😭 so excited for this show!
Rogue One, Mando and Andor. Jude Law has great taste as far as Disney Star Wars goes.
Mando is overrated.
@@kolaranze And thats a fact huh? S1 and 2 were great.
@@kolaranze so is 85% of the stuff made today.
@@buzzfunk half episodes of S1 were bad, other half were mid.
@@kolaranze lies
All the old school stuff was used to make Mando…. The models and the matte painting…. That’s why it looks so good
Great interview. Jude comes across very well.
Jude is awesome. He deserved better as Dumbledore.
I love Rogue 1 too! Good interview!
Good stuff, always enjoy watching Jude law
I really hope Hondo Ohnaka appears in this series given that he's a pirate. Oh and that Jude Law's character is another order 66 Jedi survivor.
I would love it if Jude Law was Lor(law) San Tekka

He’s gotta be in it!
A GOOD STAR WARS SHOW after so many years.
Looking forward to Episode 7 now 🤞
good interview
Jude Law would have been a great Obi Wan had McGregor not taken the role.
Yeah, similar vibe
I only have one question for Mr. Jude Law, what is the status of Sherlock Holmes 3?
1:42 what kind question is this?

Huh, after watching this, I wonder if the season finale will end on a cliffhanger
Calling it right now. The ending will be a cliffhanger.....
Would have loved if he had asked Jude what he thought of The Acolyte 😂
Where does this series fit into the timeline ? I've only seen the films and Andor.
Five years after Return of the Jedi,
So concurrently with Ahsoka, Mandalorian, and Book of Boba Fett.
@@travis_mitchell Cheers !
Star Wars a new hope
Ranking the original Star Wars is always hard because, well, none of the rest of it would have come without it.
Also, they love using that garbage compressor tube, & I love seeing it.

Wasn't it previously stated, or rumoured, that this series would tie into the end of Ahsoka?

Rogue One 💛
Don't backtrack, Jude. Rogue One and Empire are the top two Star Wars films.

It’s strange not having a woman of colour parade her beliefs on the interviewer and audience in a Star Wars interview. Yum yum yum gimme more please.
Oh eff offffff already. Sad freak.
wow so you're just racist
Batman would be ashamed of you, racism isn't cool.
I bet you are a Trump voter you far right freak.
Iv literally never seen that happen ever - your looking for problems that aren’t there and that is a you problem
