I would buy Sugar-wood … furniture and all … in a heartbeat ❤ if we could. We are too old and would not be able to take care of it. We live in CT now and the winters are less severe.
I loved the old Victoria magazine cover. The new one is too modern.

Sugarwood is such a perfect dreamy home! I love all the rooms, paint colors, and antiques! You are so lucky to have all the space to display your dish collections and ironstone pieces. Love that you enjoy your home with a cup of coffee and quiet time each morning.
Thank you for letting us in to enjoy it all with you, and enjoy Willow as I don’t have a pet (at this time). We got 22” of snow yesterday!

LOVED this "casual" style video, dear; sweet Linda. So sorry to hear your build project fell apart, but I'd rather be told than left hanging in limbo for a year or two - which is how builders here handle postponements. The Robins hanging out just outside the window was a special treat. Thank you so much for sharing your surprise snow with us.
Casually mentions 'the bears will be out soon' LOL. My brain did a double-take. Being an urban gal, that's not a phrase you hear every day! Love the dried flowers, your Easter decor, and your 'can do' attitude in the face of a snowy day. Here in southeastern Pa, it's rain and more rain with flooding, and freezing cold nights. Longing for spring weather but celebrating with joy as we enter Holy Week.

I think moving is the worse thing that humans have to do on earth! I would stay there it's so Idyllic....and find a different spot to put a rental. Find a rental in a place where you love to visit so on off seasons your family can stay over night and enjoy it! I love the New England area....it's just out of my budget for relocation. I have visited VT, ME and NH three times in the 21st century and I just adore it.

Dreams, even something we perceive as "a nightmare"...is actually, our mind expanding our thoughts and allowing us to see new ideas and more "imaginary doors" to open...whhich stretches our creative thoughts. I ALWAYS reflect on thoughts, memories, dreams and intuitive "feelings" or dejavu moments...because it's messages coming to you.
All the best laid plans and all that. I guess that life happens, plans are not always set in Stone . Dreams do come true . but the seed must have been planted in your mind
I believe this is happening and God who sees and knows everything, what the future holds for you. . Exciting times ahead ..Smile and enjoy the journey Linda X 🌹❤

I say family comes first! If a different house serves your family's needs better (and more economy friendly than adding a barn, etc.) then I say go for it. Life is way too short - do what YOU need to do. I'd always support your endeavors and would love to see you 'do' up another house. Follow your instincts . . .

I love it because I always learn at least one new thing every time. I never knew only white carnations had a scent. This is better than a soap opera. Loved everything. You are an inspiration🐰🌷
Carnations used to all smell. They are grown now for production and many have lost their scent. One of the reasons I prefer finding heirloom plants/flowers/seeds. Much better!

Sometimes cheaper than a hotel if your family and extended family can stay.

Linda, i have the same binder with my ideas in it for homes and art ideas--i have had it for over 20 years--it is fun to look through and dream! Funny it's a white binder just like yours. You are truly my kindred spirit in so many ways! I also keep files of photos on my pc i find online of dream rooms, trim ideas, gardens, just everything that inspires me! Hope you have a wonderful Easter!

I have to agree, the pantry is my favorite space too. Probably since I was able to change it from being part laundry room with no storage on the left wall.
The china is gorgeous!! I love china and have several sets myself. The garage plan ideas look great, especially the front side entrance. We had about 8 inches of snow here in central NY. I love it because we didn't have a white Christmas or much snow at all the entire winter. The temperature is VERY cold...5 degrees overnight. But I definitely love winter. We've had the fireplace going every night.
The pictures of your garage addition will be beautiful.Weather here in Wisconsin is back to winter too.We got 5 inches of heavy wet snow Friday now the rest of the week is snow and rain mix.March came in like a lamb it's going out like a Lion.I would love to come to your house if it was. VBRO.

I've been sad about losing the blooms on my fruit trees and my potatoes to a late freeze last week in our area but compared to New England Spring, I've nothing to complained about. Hope you weren't without electricity very long in that frigid weather.Your dream...I don't know how you could bear to leave your beautiful home after all the energy you've put into it but I'd get to enjoy watching you remodel and decorate a new home. Willow is so lovable. I always like the scenes in which she appears. She seems like the perfect dog.
We are still without power and they say it could be another day for some two for others. Luckily we have a generator.

Linda, the bears are already up and about. I feel bad for our birds. They’re confused, looking for their suet and sunflower seeds. Years ago we use to be able to feed the birds well into late spring. Last year had a mother with her 3 cubs…( central mass/ NH border- wooded area).

Hi, I don't make it from scratch. I keep Boboli pizza crusts in the house then create delicious pizzas with them.

I didn't have wi-fi today. We paid for a new fuse box, 3 outside outlets, and grounding with surge protection. Last night was storming with thunder in Metro-Atlanta. I made smoothies for a breakfast for us. Bob couldn't get his computer or the Wi-Fi to work, or the outlets with lights! He went to work. Later that day, I noticed the GFI behind the blender was pushed out, so I re-set it and everything lined up! We had lights, wi-fi, and I could get online, watch smart television and write to you about the silhouette!

We added a four car garage house with a roomy one bedroom flat above. We linked it to the house with a glass fronted porch with an internal log store. The flat was used as a halfway home for our autistic son. He is now fully independent and I’m having great fun running his flat as an Airbnb.

We love visiting the area and stay in VRBO......very interested! We were "gifted" with over 6 inches of snow on Friday.....my poor daffodils and tulips!!! You have lots of Juncos at your feeders as we do. I had put away all my snow removal tools last week......Enjoyed the vignettes. Aren't you glad for whole house generators?! I would not live in a house without them now. Looking forward to your remodeling to come.
