this car is probably the 2.0 TFSI 268 HP version for the North American market. There is also a mistake in the car description, it is definitely not the 2.0 TFSI 204 HP
I like the blooper and your honesty at the end :D . The car from the front I like it but at the rear it could be any kind of car nowadays, I do not see any Audi related detail, which is sad to me. And these displays everywhere and touchpanel... Just why? But the quality of the inside is outstanding just like your video as always. Keep going 💪
Yes, it seems like they make all easy things, harder. Cars are getting so complicated and it felt like I was driving a huge ipad. Not impressed by the interior and the tech. Keep it simple!
@@Auditography totally agreed with you. Maybe the discussion with the responsible design/engineering team (like the poor quality of keyfob in your IG post) gives a little hope, slowly it can change the attitude, like in case of the real exhaust. But nowadays there are just a few cars, which are fun to drive and the technology is not front of the face sadly.
Will Audi let you have an A5 Avant or sedan with some of the Audi exclusive options? It would be nice to to see how it can be made into something truly special.
Despite the weather, the video is amazing mate!!!💪👍 The cinematograpfy, the music, the everything!!!🤩 And everybody will apperciate thet You got soken wet!!!🙏 By the way... the car is OK too!😉
Very nice car with great perfomance if those figures about acceleration and fuel consumption are accurate. I wish it had less piano black in the interior. p.s.Not sure what is more unnecessary in cars - voice commands or passengers screens.
@@Auditography if I'm not mistaken, us North Americans will have a version with about 270 horses. I plan on buying a Q8 E-tron to replace my A4 in a few years, but want to drive the B10 A5 at some point.
@@Auditography This must be a mistake. The A5 2.0 TFSI is much heavier and certainly won't be faster. It has 7.6s from the factory. It doesn't have MHEV
All videos of A5 Q6 Q5 and so on only shows the dials or instrument cluster where you have a circle in the middle showing the road and your car....In this high end screen - is there no way to set it to traditional Audi dials for the RPM and the speed? Is it seriously only one way to have it?? Besides the inflation in screens Audi was the pioneers of digital screen where you could configure the dials and such....Have they now then saved up on that as well?? Or why dont at least anyone in all videos on these cars show anything different?
How is it even possible to miss out on a thing like that if you have a large numbers of engineers and designers...Amazing...even the cheapest of todays cars have this capability especially in the VW sphere of things - all inspired by Audi that now then sort of missed out...wow@@Auditography
@@Auditography Can you write something more about it because there is no such engine in official Audi data for Europe. It would be worth testing a regular A5 2.oTFSI 204HP

Can’t wait to buy one in 12 years

This and the Avant version are the best revealed Audi’s by far

On the photo yes, but on the video I couldnt edit it away. Badges updates are coming

As I commented above, me and my team on-site said to eachother: "this is the quickest 200hp car we've ever launched". Thanks to that 48V MHEV system
Just checking the config. and i saw a time of 7.6s 0 to 100 for TFSI Quattro 204 hp ,that is over 2sec faster then advertised, this is impressive
The 7.6 sec must be for the version without the MHEV. That 48v does wonders. You'll see it in the TDI video tomorrow

204 horsepower and it's a full second quicker than the B9.5 A5 40 Quattro and about as quick as my A4 45 Quattro. That's super impressive.

Will 2.0TFSI with 195kW be available?
Also Q5 with 3.0TDI?

No info as of yet.
@Auditography How to know? No dilemma to order 2.0TDI or wait for 3.0TDI if it ever happens? Dillers doesn't know anything
