While the real reason is he was just hit by things he's never been hit by before, ie literally venom with base spiderman strength tripled and then physics taking the rest.... He literally throws the fridge off of himself like it weighs nothing because he is focusing and using muscles and is no longer stunned from getting wacked by venom
Petter in spiderman 3 will continue too be anti venom the suit is stuck too him permanently bc it's bonded with him in a cellular level then silk spider will be a playable character (spiderman 2) ( 2 spiderman) there will be (3 spiderman) in spiderman 3 Peter will be like a mentor and a guide to miles and silk spider during the events of green goblin taking over the city
@nox5618 but who wants that, I'm getting the game for spider-Man. Its like advertising a Batman game with Robin and Batgirl on an equal podium with Bruce, it's dumb
@LanceLee-dh5pc I actually want to play as silk she looks cool same for miles but not so much with the new suit he has, Peter is the spotlight though they shouldn't put him off to the side the spiderman is a mantle but Peter Parker is the first spiderman we deserve a prequel game showing Peter's first year as spiderman with a possible 1 year time jump so we can see year 1 and year 2 of Peter Parker spiderman
@icrywhenisleep2130 I meant more along the lines of I don't want literally anymore time taken away from peter, having not only Miles but Silk too just takes away time from the character I actually purchased the game for
When I played this scene yesterday, I thought about that. But technically, MJ was between Harry and Peter. So his he hit hard enough to stun Peter the I think she'd be dead. I think it was more of he didn't want to fight in Aunt May and Uncle Ben's House. He didn't want to destroy the place or fight his best friend. But again, when does Peter get what he wants, especially when it comes to Spider-man. Also, I think the part of the Symbiote that was in him still was weakening him against the Symbiotes before Martin Li. So it's kinda a combination of everything. I just hope that MSP3 doesn't have a fight as a last resort, like it's been in the last 2 games. I know Peter always tries to talk his foes out of it. But Green Goblin is the exception that I allow. Because after all Goblin has done. He will never be talked down, whereas the Osborn inside could have been. Also, I don't like Harry as Venom. I still think Brock is coming, the only one powerful enough to control the Symbiotes.
@@khayree7929 It's literally a plot point when he gets the AV suit that he's emotionally traumatized. You can admit he's nerfed but he *IS* fucked up RN
I love how people ignore that he got gut checked by Venom who doesnt trigger his spider sense. Bro was winded for a second and quickly got back to his feet. Also psychology plays a big part in performance too. This is still his best friend he's dealing with.
Im pretty sure him getting nerfed was in the plot, which was why he wanted the symbiote, he said, "It makes me a better Spider-Man" but they could've made it easier for players to realize he got weaker other than making him get killed by a knife. Like maybe they could've had Peter comment on how much less he's performing.
@@khayree7929Exactly, this is why I don’t think he was nerfed cause of emotional trauma. I think he was nerfed because they just wanted to give the spotlight to other characters, without realizing Peter doesn’t need to become dumber or weaker for other characters to shine.

Peter is still dealing with May's death, we see it IN THIS GAME, it takes a toll on Peter, in the game Peter says "I need this suit! It makes me a better Spider-man" when he has the Symbiote. Plus the attack Venom hit him with was from VENOM who doesn't trigger his senses, MJ saw the tentacles before him because she was closer so she jumped in front of the man she loved, he's still a human he's gonna get stunned especially since he hit a old fridge which are hard af HEAD-FIRST, then it fell on his back, of course he needs a second before he continues. Plus things like this happened in the first game too! Peter almost died in a building on fire while saving May.@@Lord_V20
Correct. But would you rather have Miles lose or something? It's a damn superhero story. Of course, the force of good is gonna win, even if it doesn't entirely make sense.
So was Peter supposed to turn into venom and infect the entire world? Plus him AND miles stopped the symbiote miles didn’t have to use his strength to rip it off
His strength is based on his mental state, just like in Raimi Spider-Man 2. he just lost Aunt May, his relationship with MJ isnt the greatest, he can barely afford to keep Aunt Mays house, and his best friend is dying.
Is there a confirmation? Besides the balance thing. Or is this just speculation. Because Peter after the first game was still pulling through and overall performing well. Getting packed up by Rhino, was mostly for Miles could shine in MM
@@Yiravexi Spider-Man is canonically 167 pounds. An (empty) fridge is 400 pounds. Having the proportionate strength of a spider doesn’t except him from the laws of physics (there are entire conversations about physics in these games). If he’s thrown into a refrigerator by Venom and not prepared to catch it when it falls on him, it’s going to fall on him.
@@Teezy6354 Oh come on. I have a platinum trophy in all three of these games. Even in Miles Morales standalone, Peter is shown as weak. He was knocked unconcious in the first fight with Rhino. Just so that Miles gets to save him. This is the same guy that fought of Sinister Six with broken ribs and god knows how many other injuries. And he gets knocked out by a refrigerator? I call bullshit
@Nishan113 Bro likes his own comments 💀 Anyway, you act as if Peter didn't openly acknowledge that Rhino is way stronger than him and that the fight took place in an open area. You really think Peter can go all out against Rhino when there's tons of people around?
He wasn’t nerfed. Best friend back from the dead, to almost dying again, to becoming the villain. Stressed over MJ not sure if she’s moving in yet. The Emily-May Foundation destroyed. His mentor Otto turned against him in PS4, etc. not nerfed…traumatized
In the first Yuri side story (before the black suit is available) she mention Peter is getting slower. The reason Peter being slower is up for interpretation, but I figure the exhaustion of being Spider-Man has finally caught up to Peter hence why the black suit was needed. Also throughout the entire game, it felt like Peter was trying to hand over the mantle to miles as he himself was realizing he needed a break.
Honestly I agree with this and think a lot of it also has to do with what happened in the first game he did go through a lot against the sinister six and not to mention the dlcs and the ones saying he’s in his prime yall do realize he’s been at it since he was 15 in this universe that’s damn near 10 years of continuous strain and service as Spider-Man as well as the every day stresses he has to deal with and trauma Peter goes through
@@kingkoua1 Spider-Man's powers depend heavily on his emotional state. The thing is, Peter never got over May's death and everything else that happened in Spider-Man 1. Not to mention everything that happened in the game itself. They could have shown this better but it makes sense why he's weaker. He's exhausted and needs to heal properly without Spider-Man stuff interrupting his personal life.
@@Empty_Blank I’m sure that it is true that he never got over aunt mays death but if it was truly affecting his powers and such I would argue how come we didn’t see any of this in the dlcs after in the first game and he also seemingly got over it in the miles morales game. I mean he literally walked into his death in this game and got stabbed by kraven. That’s not him being out of his prime that’s just bad writing. Also the whole premise that he’s getting weaker was never properly conveyed in the game so that’s just bad story telling and it just a theory at this point.
Let's not also forget how piss poor his Spider Sense was shown in this game. My man gets straight up tackled by a robo dog mid-quip while looking right at it and it's the only thing he has to be worried about. It just slowly jumps at him and wins out. There's also so many scenes of him jumping right into something. Like jumping at Sandman and just being slowly smacked by him without trying to get out the way, being struck by lightning during the sandman fight and blacking out before Miles saved him (despite him dodging lightning multiple times across the first game, and never slowing in his stride when he WAS hit), being unable to dodge gunship missiles while amped by the black suit for no reason when he could do this sort of thing easily in the first game. People argue against it so often, but he's objectively far weaker in the second and third games to orchestrate situations for Miles to shine and save him when it just isn't necessary. He was at his peak in the first, then was worse off against Rhino purely for Miles to have a moment to shine even though he had beat Rhino and Scorpion in a 2v1 with 14 broken bones in the first game. In the second, he gets his ass kicked so often its upsetting.
Well, in this game he was super forced. Had to see his world crumble and I doubt Venom taking him over was helpful. When he forced it off, idk how much force he used. He was super tired, emotionally and physically speaking.
i think something everyone missed out on is the peter and harry mission where you see may talk about "balance". balancing his work life (spiderman) and personal (relationship, finance etc). from the first game its clear hes strong, but mays death as well as the betrayal of doc ock, "you were everything i ever wanted to be", is something he hasnt come across in years. and he still keeps fighting. he completely loses his balance. we saw in spiderman 2 when tobey was only having relationship issues and some financial, he completely lost his powers. insomniac is down broke getting evicted out of his old place, his house is a mess as we saw with rotten food and emotionally traumatised. on top of that hes never been one to ask for help. in this game he still had some fight but it was clear in this game he was completely out of it, whether spider sense not working for an enemy right in front of him, or getting stunlocked by a fridge. its why he quits at the end, because he needs to re establish that balance in his life and mentally.
Honestly I’m glad you brought this up! In terms of physical strength I wouldn’t say Peter was nerfed per se but I do believe his mental state is weaker than ever. Plus I like the connection to Tobey losing his powers in Spider-Man 2. Goes to show that if you’re off mentally it can make you perform not as good as you usually would.
I love this take, and I don't disagree with the possibility, but I just think it's kinda lazy writing they didn't touch on this as a plot point, for right now it's more of a theory, than fact, and that's what makes me feel like he's nerfed. And that's all that upsets me.
@@rafaelwells7247you literally had one mission where it tells peter isn't in a healthy mental state. One relating a flashback with may, the whole symbiote peter arc, and a literal mind trip where both miles and li explored whats inside peter's mind. Okay on top of all this the one thing that pisses me off the most is Peter saying why does a city need me when it has you the fact that they made Peter disrespect himself that bad shows how they're going to continue this damn story😔😫🤬
My theory is Peter was heavily unbalanced mentally being Spider-Man, we see he struggled with guilt, loss, pain, emotions, and sacrifices. It’s been noticed in the game Peter has his strength up and running again but then drastically weakened, I think Peter’s mental imbalance with his life choices, and past emotional experience he actually doesn’t want to be Spider-Man anymore. We can see he only wants to live free and away from crime fighting not just by the ending in MS2 but of the clear signs he gives
It could be like how Tobey maguire lost his powers in spider man two cause of a chrisis and insomniacs Peter could be going through something similar so it’s making his powers weaker
@@F0zekThat’s some immature thinking my friend, brush off all reasoning in the story just to one sidedly declare that the same writers who literally put so much time and effort into perfecting this Peter’s character just all of a sudden hate him and are jumping ship because miles is in the game? He wasn’t nerfed, he just wasn’t trying anymore because of all the sadness and loss in his life. The symbiote targets mentally weak people, Miles grew up in a nice neighborhood with friends and family and he was happy with his life. The symbiote sensed weakness in Peter from him losing his aunt and uncle so it bonded with him knowing he was sad and would snap easily.
@@dragonk5543Nah that most likely isn’t the case. Peter’s healing factor is really really good. Im pretty sure by he end of the game his ribs were perfectly healed.
Doesn’t change something like spider sense being extremely inconsistent now, or how he was able to do perfectly fine during the dlc for Spider-Man PS4, or the time in between Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2
I think its not because he got nerfed but because he had to deal with all this pain and trauma that his back just gave out from a fridge falling on his back which is sad to think about
Idc what anyone says, trauma and PTSD shouldn't mess him up to the point he can't lift a God damn refrigerator he was web slinging, fighting and moving just fine, hell when he got to MJ's house he wasn't fatigued he knew there was only two ways Harry would respond to his concerns about the symbiote, not only did he have plenty of time to move a regular ass fridge, he'd also have time to save MJ from becoming Scream But at the end of the day it's literally down to plot and writers so we'll probably see something again like this is Spiderman 3
Fully agree, people are literally coping whilst tryna write the game for insomniac. They barely explained the whole trauma/depression thing, just like how they barely emphasised the addictive side of the symbiote.

That’s one thing I didn’t like about Spider-Man 2 was they nerfed Peter hard. I guess it can be defended by the fact he’s run down physically and mentally especially after the passing of may
I think it’s a mix of him being traumatized from Spiderman 1 and insomniac nerfing him so miles and silk can become the main spider people. I don’t like that Peter isn’t the main spiderman anymore tho
Honestly I think it really comes down to his mental state. One of the main plot points for the game was balance and it’s clear that Peter has lost his balance for a while due to his experiences of being Spider-Man. It’s why you could see throughout his interactions, he wanted to focus more on his personal life rather than being Spider-Man bc being spidey has caused many problems for him. I feel that his mental state is worse than ever due to his 10 year Spider-Man career, the events of the first game and even the events within the sequel. It’s kinda like how Tobey’s Peter from the Spider-Man 2 movie lost his powers due to the mental crisis he was going through. In other words, Tobey’s Peter was going through so much mentally that he was also losing his motivation to be Spider-Man. This caused him to slowly lose his powers and be “nerfed.” I think one factor that’s overlooked about being Spider-Man is the mental factor. Like yeah you have the super powers but if you’re off your game mentally, it can lead to you performing not as well as you usually would.
Considering how bad his mental health was in the game, it makes sense why he doesn’t seem as “op” as he was before. Like if you’re off your game from a mental standpoint, then you might not perform at the highest caliber that’s possible.
Am I the only one who remembers why there is a hole in the wall? May literally said if you don’t have balance your gonna mess up until you find that balance. That’s why he’s is “nurfed”. And the reason miles beat him is because 1 he was blinded by rage so he obviously wasn’t thinking clearly. 2 miles isn’t weak he is very strong. Definitely strong enough to hold his own against Peter with his abilities. 3 miles had access to venom’s weakness the bell. 4 he just fought kraven so he was probably even more tired than he already was. No insomniac doest hate Peter and love miles. No peter is not weaker than he was before once he finds balance he will be stronger than ever.
@@thatcatguy7025 exactly! Plus with the miles and Peter fight, it wasn’t even a fight to see who wins or who loses. All Miles was trying to do was help get the black suit off of Peter, and once he succeeded, it was done.
He wasn’t nerfed just not for the fanfic reasons insomniac fans are coming up with, the scaling is inconsistent throughout the games. This version of Spiderman is never stated to have his powers linked to his mental state.
Any sort of nerf he may have gotten was because of the events of spiderman 1, he's depressed, stressed, emotionally traumatised. So he may be nerfed but that's because of his mental state

And miles as it is isn't great character just copy of peter who happens to have better power that was miles in comics too which is why he wasn't popular. Sony actually made him own character in into the spider verse. Writers are the ones nerfing peter to make miles stand that better as spider man, he even beat peter with venom form and let me remind you he got bodied by kraven. People cope is actually venom is weak to electricity 🤓, but okay sound is also his weakness and kraven with it still couldn't beat him. There were better ways to solve this fight without peter destroying him but no they made him win. Also imagine writing possibilities with peter harming miles or even straight up killing him. And mj oh boy another bullshit she is now a god, clearly peter with that taser could easily defeat kraven, but i get it gameplay not equals story but still tasers don't work that way that people get down in 0.5 sec and also these missions are just insanely easy you could just run and them and hold button you will still come on top or where mj escapes from venom peter you can fail quick time events and you still won't fail you can even not do anything because missions plays itselfs. Could go a lot more but there are people who did it for me.
@F0zek So pretty much everything i saw before just went into your brain and dispersed into nothingness. Them making miles the main spiderman for the next game is not the reason all of the shit that happened to peter happened when miles literally was not around. How tf do you link peter struggling to lift a damn train to the other Spiderman who wasn't even there? Peter is on break, he'll come back to confront ock and osborn. Mile's will be the one training silk, so the majority of the game will be split between these two story lines. Miles beat peter in venom form because he was literally exploiting his weakness, and peter was actively fighting for control. We literally see him spazzing out on the ground because of the internal conflict. So miles one, but not withoud the aid fo a literal weakness and peter. Did you not see him literally hitting the bell? You people will ignore the narrative if it means it supports your agenda.
Before he arrives he has a call with Dr Connors and he says he can be having symptoms like soreness and fatigue after removing the symbiote. That can explain the "nerf"
Peter was actually beating Miles the reason Peter took off the symbiote was because Miles talked him out of it if you payed attention you would’ve known but of course you have a small brain so why would you pay attention
I wouldn’t say miles beat him in fact it the opposite mile kept hitting the bell because he couldn’t beat Pete in a 1v1 Peter was beating mile ass that why he tried to talk to him
I wouldn’t say miles beat him in fact it the opposite mile kept hitting the bell because he couldn’t beat Pete in a 1v1 Peter was beating mile ass that why he tried to talk to him
It's not like Insomniac nerfed him completely, people are always looking at what Spider-Man should be doing. "Spider-Man of the first game could've done *this* or *that* & he had 14 broken *ribs* and still saved New York City. How couldn't he do the same here?" Check out the flim Hot Fuzz by Edgar Wright. It's been known throughout the story that he has been dealing with issues, (or trauma) since the events of the first game. Throughout this one, he's been doubting himself & has expressed how tired he is. He views the symbiote as a way to make him better, to give him that edge. He's always had the Spider-Man switch turned on, he never had it off for Peter Parker once. So of course the stuff he's doing now doesn't compare to what he was doing back in the events of the first. Hell, I'd probably underperform too if I was him dealing with the same shit, actually . . . I'd probably start offing people after the 3rd time that I stopped them from doing something destructive. I have my own problems with the game, but most people in general just think that Spider-Man can do everything & not be fazed by anything. He's still coming to terms with the death of his Aunt, who was a significant person in his life that he still feels guilt over. So yeah, I think it's unrealistic to have him perform at the same level as he was performing in the first.
It takes place more than a year later, if your theory is correct then why is Andrew Garfields performing normally after Gwen's death which was more traumatic
@@LanceLee-dh5pc If you *actually* paid attention to No Way Home, he explained to Tobey M.'s & Tom's Spider-Men that he was vengeful or angry after the events of Amazing Spider-Man 2 all the way to his introduction into No Way Home. It was with the shared grief between the 3 spider-men that made him feel a bit better. Also, he felt incredibly better after he managed to save the MCU's version of MJ that he was able to feel confident again. Any more questions? Oh wait, I forgot that this is the internet. So, either rewatch the film or read about it. *PS: I didn't say the time between the first & second game only took a year. So I don't know where you got that from. I am aware that years have passed within the two stories. And a spinoff happens after the events of the first game, but before the events of the second. Come on . . . *
@@LanceLee-dh5pcAndrew never “performed normally” he lost the love of his life, Andrew said it was a long while (maybe years) before he moved on and accepted her death.
They should have established that actually it seemed it was actually part of the original story you can see it with side mission and stuff but they seemed to have cut it out for time which sucks
It really makes zero sense. Like, they have regular miles beating Peter with the symbiote, and it makes him STRONGER than ever before. Like bro probably could not have gotten out of Kravens vibranium cage without the symbiote.
It makes perfect sense Peter hasn’t found balance he’s going through a lot he lost Aunt May his best friend is an alien he has to mentor Miles and he’s processing what’s going on because he just got free of the symbiote it’s that easy to understand dude but of course you have a small brain why would you understand
This also happened right when he lost mj. He lost his job. He lost his mentor. He couldn’t afford mays house. His best friend is missing. His relationship with mj is not going the greatest. Please pay attention to the story
@@flamebreaker7318Doesn't work like that in lore. Miles isn't even invincible because of his electricity, just has more capabilities. Peter has stronger base stats, Miles has more abilities

@@mrmelonman2893 I played the sequence where’s it literally spelled out for me that he was nerfed in the one scene where he didn’t react at all to venom but mj did.
I also often see videos about the refrigerator, but few people realize that a second before this, a simple journalist MJ reacted to Venom’s attack faster than a person dodging bullets
The Symbiote was also draining his strength and energy. He was a lot stronger and energetic with the symbiote, and when it was off of him, he lost his energy and strength. That’s why after the symbiote came off, he was not nearly as strong as he was in the first game, until he got the anti-venom later in the 2nd game
I think it's more of that shock factor. He knew he had the broken bones. He was used to that pain since he'd already had it for a few hours. Getting hit by the fridge prolly.knocked the wind out of him. Then the shock factor that MJ is in danger due to him, prolly bringing PTSD up about May.... srsly do people not know how human minds and bodies work?
I think he was stunned is because he still isn’t used to not having the symbiote so he thought it would take it off of him and he was hit very hard by venom most likely that probably is a factor too
My headcanon is that his powers were in flux after separating from venom. Conners mentioned potential side effects from separation in passing
While the real reason is he was just hit by things he's never been hit by before, ie literally venom with base spiderman strength tripled and then physics taking the rest.... He literally throws the fridge off of himself like it weighs nothing because he is focusing and using muscles and is no longer stunned from getting wacked by venom
I like both of these theories. Takes some of the pain away from how hard that was to watch
Wait is the 19 inch canon or something else?

@@LanceLee-dh5pcstfu u sound dumb
I think getting punched by Harry's 19 inch venom is what stunned him and not the fridge.

In the first Yuri side story (before the black suit is available) she mention Peter is getting slower. The reason Peter being slower is up for interpretation, but I figure the exhaustion of being Spider-Man has finally caught up to Peter hence why the black suit was needed.
"Bro even had to remember that he can throw a fridge” lol

We can see he only wants to live free and away from crime fighting not just by the ending in MS2 but of the clear signs he gives
There is no theory, writers just hate peter and like miles for obvious reason.

They barely explained the whole trauma/depression thing, just like how they barely emphasised the addictive side of the symbiote.
Alright so Spider-man fanboy here, this Peter has been Spider-man for 10
whole years solo, only break from being Spider-man was in Spider-man
Miles Morales and it was a single week. Peter is still dealing with
May's death, we see it IN THIS GAME, it takes a toll on Peter, in the
game Peter says "I need this suit! It makes me a better Spider-man" when
he has the Symbiote. Plus the attack Venom hit him with was from VENOM
who doesn't trigger his senses, MJ saw the tentacles before him because
she was closer so she jumped in front of the man she loved, he's still a
human he's gonna get stunned especially since he hit a old fridge which
are hard af HEAD-FIRST, then it fell on his back, of course he needs a
second before he continues. Plus things like this happened in the first
game too! Peter almost died in a building on fire while saving May.
@@White_Knight_Real Look man I love Spiderman to death but even Peter at his weakest can lift tons, there's been so many points he's been almost killed and has bounced back, it doesn't matter if the fridge is old, average fridge weighs 100-400 pounds,he can lift 10 tons, shit Peter trains just in case his powers ever go out of commission, he himself knows he can't rely on his powers forever
May's death isn't on his mind 24/7, right before going to the house he's literally in a rush to go get Mary Jane knowing Harry is Unstable after getting the suit back and killing Kraven, that was literally the only thing on his mind, Peter by this point knows the Symbiote doesn't trigger spider sense
@@White_Knight_Real The fridge in the scene didn't even hit him head first, it fell on his back
Also don't get me started on him fighting the entire Sinister Six with 14 broken bones, no hospital, just him by himself setting out to stop them before they cause anymore harm
The only times I expect him to lose is when people prepare for him knowing that they'll lose otherwise, Cletus Cassidy did it and almost killed Peter, Chameleon's preparing his revenge for Spiderman 3, Otto did it during the first game and left Peter almost dead

Spider man: guts now I know how it felt
Guts: it’s hard to forget and I wish I could
*see venom and Griffith in the distance*
Spider man: VENOM!
Guts: GRIFFITH!
He’s actually stronger than he ever was because of the symbiotic thankfully
That’s one thing I didn’t like about Spider-Man 2 was they nerfed Peter hard. I guess it can be defended by the fact he’s run down physically and mentally especially after the passing of may
I think it’s a mix of him being traumatized from Spiderman 1 and insomniac nerfing him so miles and silk can become the main spider people. I don’t like that Peter isn’t the main spiderman anymore tho
He getting stunned by a simple refrigerator 😂 , bro forgot he have spider strength 😂
Bro he did not get stunned he clearly threw and got up
His head also hit the floor and the refrigerator
He also just fought off a symbiote that almost completely took over his mind
Hes broken, he wasn't nerfed, they just stuck to the plot of him not being there mentally
And the reason miles beat him is because
1 he was blinded by rage so he obviously wasn’t thinking clearly.
@@Justjay_10kthat’s why he did 2 anime moves to show how much superior he is and overpowers him. That’s when they wanted to show.

Bro. He’s tired. He can’t keep on dealing with that stuff. Yeah, he was able to tank it in the first game, where he had a somewhat stable life. Now, he has to carry even more burden that he is getting older, he has to go on without May, he has learned his friend is both dying and his enemy, mentor another Spider-Man, and probably withdrawal symptoms from leaving Venom. Also, his closest enemies are being killed, which is one of his worst nightmares. He probably felt like the world was actually stacked against him.

I guess this is a sign that Peter will soon need to retire leaving Miles with the role of the one, the only, Spider-Man... I wonder if he will be nerfed further or buffed for the next game.
There could be two possible reasons.1:He’s mentally unstable cus of all the trauma he has suffered throughout his painful life.2:He holds back since he thinks or maybe that all the reasons I’ve lost everyone is cus I don’t hold back.So yea hopefully we see him stronger than ever even stronger than in spider man 1 cuz it will be the last chapter as octo said himselves “I’m writing the last chapter”.

@@Dachin55555 I want to agree with the notion, it’s not a bad theory that a TON of fans of this game are stating, but if WE have to theorize to come to the conclusion as to why he’s not consistent with his 1st entry counterpart, then I have to say that’s lazy writing.
I love the idea that him being weaker is tied to his mental, but all insomniac did was say “oh, Pete’s mentally struggling right now” before proceeding to completely dog walk his physical feats into the ground.
I WANT to believe this theory, but the story has framed it in a light as if they’re two separate scenarios.
@@rafaelwells7247i think that notion of “Spider-Man always gets up”, which is tied mentally, is getting to Peter. That mentality and motivation is draining from him, and it’s shown to be more in Miles. Peter’s powers have always been linked to his mental health. the fact his body and mind are suffering are obviously going to effect his powers, it’s how spider-man has been for years. it’s not that they nerfed him into the ground. it’s just that Peter is very mentally and physically unwell.

Remember when Mj posts and article about spiderman causing too much reckless destruction in the same mission she told miles to collapse the tunnel
I think that Peter is just tired from everything. It’s the reason he built the iron arms and the reason he feels he needs the symbiote to make him a better spider man. The main theme to the game is second chances but close to that is not being good enough, the main reason Peter wanted to keep the symbiote was to “be a better spider man” to make May proud.

@@Codyslxwe are talking about the whole game. You can quit being delusional.
@@F0zek You are the delusional one. Outside of the campaign all there is are side quest and Peter gets the best side quest out of the two. People complaining about nerfs literally use the 2 times miles saves peter as justification for him getting nerfed. He did get nerfed but not because of miles. Miles wasn't in the scene where he couldn't lift a fridge or a damn train. Mile's wasn't there when his spider sense kept failing to activate against kraven in the black suit. Mile's wasn't there when peter quit literally got one shotted by kraven or got thrashed around by venom or knocked out by the symbiote. Miles was not around when MJ literally used a damn gun to stop stun a literal symbiote enhanced peter. Miles was barely in the damn game but the few times he's around they are apparently nerfing peter simply because the nature of his powers aren't as flashy as miles. Peter getting clapped multiple times by sand storm lightning makes sence, unlike miles he can't absorb it. Now getting slapped by sand didn't make sense but that is an issue with the game. No one's spidersense works, same for miles considering he managed to get hurt by the scorpian.
Yes peter did get nerfed but to claim peter got nerfed to hype up miles who wasn't even around in most of these situations is just projection. There is something you just don't like about the character and i have a good idea what it is.
@@Codyslx one having better side quest have nothing to do with nerfing peter. Yes they nerfed him because they want miles as spider man EVEN IN GAME PETER SAYS IT not even in venom jealousy mode.

"Spider-Man of the first game could've done *this* or *that* & he had 14 broken *ribs* and still saved New York City. How couldn't he do the same here?"
Check out the flim Hot Fuzz by Edgar Wright.
Come on . . . *
