2:57 You're absolutely correct. His movements not only focus on the performance but also serve as a way to tell a story through his body, which is amazing and you can feel that. He's an artist, as we often say, and now those who don't know him can see that too. Pure art, talented and incredible artist of all time.
Truly, his way of moving is like noe one else honestly!! ✨
Here's the thing Ten knows he's an amazing dancer but he said what he focuses on these days is rather than making the most crazy dance etc it's the little movements, showcasing the lyrics through his dancing, setting himself apart from everyone and making choreo that tells a story. These are things he can focus on doing when he has solo projects.

Ten is such a fluid dancer, he's incredible to watch 💚I also looove the Phantom choreo, it's so satisfying to watch and it fits the concept so well. Xiaojun actually really caught my eye in the dance practice, his spin at 16:00 is really clean and his hand gestures in the chorus are so elegant, funnily enough it kinda reminds me of the traditional Chinese dances styles I did growing up.
for me Ten's dance makes me more interested in dancing. even if I can't understand or explain the dance, it mesmerizes me to the point that you want to learn the details

- Ten is such a phenomenal performer. And as someone who ults him, I always end up having such high expectations for him whenever he's planning to put something out. However, he just keeps exceeding my expectations!
- I like how he's also uses female back-up dancers cos he is such an androgynous dancer (Btw the main choreographer for Nightwalker is actually one of the dancers. The blonde girl that's usually at the front, her name is Jayssun)
- I love love loveee phantoms choreo. The details, the body lines, the way they utilized the formations to create interesting shapes and imagery in the verses, then the hard-hitting moves in the chorus were SO COOL! The fusion of contemporary and hiphop moves in this choreo really fit each member's dance styles. I love seeing each member put their own flair/technique to it.

I’ve always loved Taemin for his dancing and his androgynous style! So finding Ten is like a feeling of coming home 😅 That sounds very weird, but it feels familiar in a way even though it’s new. I have no idea if that made sense 🤣✨
I really hope you'll check out the behind the scenes for night walker like how they came up with the choreo etc it's so fascinating to watch Ten work with the choreographers.

As a person who used to have a type - masculine charismatic rappers - Ten made me realize that some people are just too beautiful (more than the physical) that it doesn't matter what you think you're type is, they will transcend it.
As long as you're sensitive enough to beauty (god help them, but some people have dull senses) Ten eventually will get under your skin. He's just such a captivating and compelling force of nature. Some people, after seeing him perform live, say it is like a baptism, a religious experience of sorts. Like one fan who discovered wayv in an SMTOWN concert (to support another artist) wrote such a beautiful essay on her experience of discovering Ten. I enjoyed reading her essay cuz it's like experiencing Ten again for the first time.
Male japanese dancers who do YT dance reactions/review are also captivated by him I heard one of them saying things like the atmosphere of his dance transcends the mortal realm or that if it were the old days, it would only be performed to summon the gods so that they can use Ten's body as a vessel. They could be exaggerating but you get the idea.😅
I feel like with Ten, there almost is no exaggerating 😅 Cause they way his dance makes you think, is unlike no other! I don’t think I’ve ever had that much to say about a dancer! Even when the fact is I have no knowledge 🤣 I still processed so much! He just is so unbelievably talented and a beautiful human 🙏🏻
@@MimiGemReacts that's true but I'm a bit reserved sometimes about my praises cuz in the world of Kpop some people just can't stand it when certain members of group shine too much. I don't want Ten to get unnecessary hate from some fans who tend to be overcompetitive for their biases.
I'll be honest, since day one, some of the solo stans within NCT itself don't even want to admit that Ten is THE main and BEST dancer of the entire NCT and not just his subunit even when all the members themselves said it already. Mark literally even said he's never met anyone who can dance better than Ten and how he's super proud that NCT has him. Like understand tastes differ but some things are crystal clear even if you dont like it.
It's sad cuz NCT is such a big group that the members don't get the same opportunities they would get if they were in a smaller team that many fans become unnecessarily bitter and towards members who get more attention and acknowledgement. And the fact that Ten, a member of NCT's least popular unit get overflowing praises for his dancing, had a solo debut ahead of almost every other member and was chosen as global ambassador of YSL instead of one of Seventeen's (note that Svt is more popular and than NCT) most popular member, well it's just too annoying for people who don't want to see him fly high. And the fact that many of Ten's solo stans can also be overcompetitive as well, you can only imagine how messy it could get.
Even toxic fans of other more popular and established groups actually sometimes also try to diminish his talent and artistry.. On his solo debut, some haters even accused him of copying just about everyone - Taemin (SHINee), Jungkook (BTS), Kai (EXO), and DPR IAN. I read them on a couple of platforms (even on NCT's own subreddit- but it was moderated of course) so it's not an isolated case. Not saying those haters are the fans of those artists though cuz I don't know. Like the man has been through so much just to get there but they can't just allow it.
Oh gosh, i said too much. I don't want to involve you in the mess but i can't help but share.😭😅 I hope you don't think i'm generalizing cuz many NCTzens are actually decent. It's just that issues do exist here and there😅
@@arien_000 I think every fandom has solo stans and toxic stans. Unfortunatly some groups have more toxic fans then others. I haven't really met any of them here in my comment section. (Luckily!!) But the problem do come when people won't give the well deserved credit to the talent of people!! To me Xiaojun is one of the best damn singers I've ever heard. As I stated in the Lee Mujin service. That doesn't mean that the other WayV members aren't talented. It's the same with Ten. I think some people have a hard time seeing that. and that makes up a large portion of the toxic stans... But! Luckily for the most part here in my comments, the commenters are nice and respectfull! Which I'm so glad for! and then we just have to keep spreading positive and good vibe for our idols, and give them all the love each of them deserves 💕✨
@@MimiGemReacts true and it's so counterproductive. As for Xiaojun, yes his voice is indeed a treasure. That's why you need to watch XIAOJUN/RENJUN UNBREAKABLE LOVE duet cover. I swear it's one of the best covers done by NCT members. And Chinese ballads are just so good too. Of course in your own time. I'm just letting you know that that beautiful cover exists and is waiting for you to hear it.☺️✨ Also, I'm sure you're gonna love Renjun too.
When it comes with WayV Dance practices, I also want to point out how good each members are. We know Ten is an amazing dancer like he's so versatile and just like what you said, like he's like grabbing your attention. with that, we can tell that other WayV members are GREAT dancers as well coz they can keep up with Ten. Some of them might even pass as main dancer when you put them in other group. They're all so talented.
Absolutely!! They are all so talented! I also agree, my focus turns to the one who is Performing (thinking about singing, like I explained) the way they all have the ability to grab your attention is amazing to me. They move as both individuals and a unit at the same time, and I find that so mesmerizing!
Ah this has become a review instead of reaction and so it's even better! We get to hear the recap of your initial reaction and also the afterthought while rewatching them, with new findings on the 2nd watch here and there. They're great performers and seeing how they don't mind performing anywhere (school attack, random restaurant, theme park, under thunderstorm, kindergarten, in a village party, etc) it's so heartwarming.

Ten is just too talented. I'm sorry, but I really can't focus on anyone when he's dancing in the front. Even if he's in the background, he's still able to grab attention. I love all of them, and I can see their talent too, but there's something about Ten that's captivating.

Also, I know you've seen some fancams of Water and Nightwalker already but I actually prefer videos from music shows cuz they are much clearer and the lighting allows me to see more details of his performance. I know you already have many stuff on your plate so this is not a reaction request but rather just a recommendation for you to watch cuz of your theater background. It's up to you if you make a reaction video or not. I just want to show you how much Ten understands getting into character and how his charm is so unique and why other artists should learn a lot from his performances.
