    I’m sure you’ve heard it many of times before, but gotta say it, really wish you still did these great informative videos!!! Learned a ton from your videos 7 years ago when I first got into refrigeration!!

    1 Does the testto 550 give trouble?
    2 What do you think of supco dual input thermometers?

      Yep. The Testo Family has a cold temperature issue. That affects super heat calculation

    One of the milking parlour guys i worked with had a cockerel as a ring tone on his phone, never knew if the phone was ringing or just normal background noise down on the farm!
    Do you think the valve was stuck shut? it seemed to react very quick to adjustments.

      heavydiesel Yeah, the spring and bellow looses their spring tension over time, they constantly flex against each other , eventually a little fine tuning is good for better temperature and the electric bill. I'm not 100% sure about this valve for the long term, I was able to get it into the ball park, if I have to replace it in a couple months that will be another pay check. cockerel ? that must be either a relative of Joe Cocker or a Rooster, I'm getting "English" lessons from you. Thanks

      ***** Well, after the adjustment, if she fails again the Customer and you know u Have to Replace it. if u Do Have to Replace it, i hope u do a Video. it Would be cool to know if that adjustment lasted For a Month, 6 Months or Years. Also Like u Said Put a Sight Glass in, they cheapoed out like u said on those units. Try the " Emerson HMi-1TT3 Sight Glass " It's the Best imo.

      @@JamesPettinato The expansion valve should not be closed off because it could cause the compressor to overheat and fail. The TD of 65 degrees Fahrenheit on a walk-in freezer is too high and could cause the compressor to work harder than it should, which could lead to premature failure. The ideal TD for a walk-in freezer is around 10°F.

    Can anyone explain the Td or temperature difference he keeps mentioning? What’s ideal?

    • @workinprogress4579

      Sami, you probably got your answer already, but you hookup your guage hoses with the system off and purge the air from the lines. Goodluck

    frost one the equalizer line, seems to be leaking trough it

    • @JamesPettinato
      @JamesPettinato  9 років тому +1

      +James Mclaughlin I don't think so, if you look at it the frost is on the first couple inches of the equalizer right next to the valve body, not on the rest of the line going up the wall. If it was leaking the whole line would be frosted. thanks
