What I have notice with all these band is, the drumming is not very good. They are not playing with proper rudiment, they're not hitting the snare drum with any authority! These young drummer need to know how to sit in the pocket and make a rhythm grove. I don't know if they're been trained by anyone who know how drums should be played? If not, young Jamaican musician need to look at world class players on UA-cam...Drums, Thomas Long, Dave Wacki on Steroid, Thomas Pridgen, Mike Portroney, Carter Beauford, to name a few... Bass, you only need one. Federico Malaman, the best. Regardless of which genre of music you're playing, the drumming need to be on point. Many Jamaican drummer think they can play without following proper guideline, if you're looking at good Jamaican Drummer! Calvin Mckenzie , Winston Grennan, Ruption, Shane, one of the Downey brothers, some others can't remember their names. GOOD LISTENING!!!
