Thankyou Tony for your music, 30 years of farming & ranching, then 2 million miles trucking.. been hauling sugar beets last 4 falls & winters with up to10axles and about 85k payloads.. the road of life has some bumps, lost my wife of 46 years to cancer, then I went through 1 yr treatments for lymphoma..good Dr report thank God! Kids are all working gong to church and married!!!
😭💔 I miss my husband. He drove a semi for over 30 years, millions of miles. He passed away October 3, 2014 and every time I see a semi it brings me to tears 😢 He worked so hard for our family. He was the most amazing husband, Dad to our children and the best Bumpa to our grandchildren. He hauled mostly rock products, that's what caused him to develop Silicosis, black lung disease. 🫁 He was waiting on a heart and lung transplant, but when he was no longer a candidate he was placed on in home Hospice care. I quit my job as a nurse to care for him for the last 2 years of his life. I am so happy that I did. We created many memories during that time. He was truly the love of my life. Though he looked intimidating, standing 6'4" size 16 boots, he was a gentle giant. He never raised his voice toe or his hand... Right there is the definition of a real man. A few days before he passed away he asked me to take him out on our porch here on the farm that he was raised on, we raised our children on and that our grandchildren now enjoy, well once we were on the porch he asked me if I could here tje doves, he then sang "On the Wings of a Snow White Dove" to me. It was at that moment that I knew his time was soon. One of the last words he said to me was "I wish I could box you all up and take you with me". 😪 What I wouldn't do to hear tje air brakes of his rig coming down this country road..... For all you truck drivers out there stay safe and as my husband always said "Keep the Shiney side up". God Bless ya'll 🙏❤️🇺🇲

Boy, the stories that song reminds me of…one ol fella (I’ll never forget) we used to speak every Saturday, he was coming in and I was going out…one Saturday, he never made it back…left the road, down thru the woods and the fifth wheel broke away from the truck and the trailer went thru the cab…!!!! God ride with ya, Roadshow, I’m praying for ya….!!!!!
A what's a good military I want the company that pick up military or civilian trucks and with bodies in there and it really sucks I saw a song that sucks and nowadays I do something different I still run tow trucks and Long Haul but I will not pick up a truck with bodies
I can relate I swerved in the woods cuz I had a bus coming at me head on in the snow 2830 children on that I reckon I just missed the tree took two semis to get me out of there but I saved them kids
