The most helpful video I've seen yet. You've thought of everything. I just bought a horse trailer for $1700. Can't wait to quit my dead end job and be my own boss. My LLC filing fee was around $55. Can't believe I haven't started sooner. Happy roasting!
@EmbracingTheSpectrum it isn't.. I got into door to door sales instead and I'm making ridiculous money.. I work on my trailer from time to time.. my man uses it to haul things for his business.
Accually we are in the process of a horse coffee trailer just starting and like i memtioned on your other videos ,thank you for all the info you are the most helpfull and complete with details we need ,hands down .
So much free information from your own experience, I’m feeling really blessed with this information and the build up of that trailer. Very inspired by these.
Usually, I call around. But I go about my buildouts differently, instead of finding one person to build out, I use 3: General Contractor, Electrician and Plumber. All of which are currently located in your home city...
Hey Leanne, this is just one of my projects. We currently build them full time. We’re using cargo. I did a big video on windows as well. Hope it helps!
I must have missed something. The espresso machine needs water. How did you hook that up? I'd like to see more about: How does the water pump, sink, clean water from your water bucket, dirty water that's been used all interact
Absolutely fantastic information. Thank you so much! I did have a question about how you did your windows - did you sandwich the poly in between the frame or use a router? Thanks so much!
Not all it’s cracked up to be…always wanting to fix something (broken cigarette lighters), constantly thinking they know better than everyone else…always wanting to do it themselves (I can make that). Grass is always greener…
Hey! You’ve saved me a lot of headache with this video. The part I’m having the hardest time wrapping my head around is the framing to stainless, does your ebook go into how build a lower shelf for the work bench? Trying to figure out materials that will pass inspection.
Depends on the weather. If it’s hot, I can get away without electric (see coffee cart ebook for details). If cold, depends on my espresso machine. If I’m 110v just an extension cord. However, if 220v I have to run a spider box (see coffee cart ebook for details).
Hey Joe ..My Espresso steamer can not keep up...can I heat milk prior to steaming and still do an ok latte ? what temp do you suggest for a bunn thermas to keep the heated milk in before I steam it on the espresso machine You had mentioned this in one of your vids but I cant find it . I really do not want to buy an extra steamer .You are so very awesome ...thank you so much for your videos !
Hey Gary, you sure can. As long as your milk is above 140F and you keep it above 140F, it safe to serve. You do however lose some of the frothing to the latte. But I've learned in big crowds, its better to get the drinks out then worry about them being pretty. I pre-heat the cambros the day before (or at least a few hours) with boiling water (or close to it). Then steam the milk to 150 and place in the cambro. You usually have about 60-90 minutes before it drops below 140F. Just depending on the temp of the environment. Buy an extra thermometer that's on a string if you want to keep track of milk temps: amzn.to/3oHuJok
Can I ask how much the renovation cost, not including the price of the trailer? I apologize if this was already answered, I'm just diving into this topic.😊
@@GreenJoeCoffeeTruck I'm mostly wondering what the cost was so I can figure out if it's worth it to pursue, especially with the extra red tape that our lovely politicians want to put us through here in CA.
@@colleenmeyer2049 California code is different than mine, so your cost is going to be a little different. They usually want a fire exit, larger sinks, self closing windows and 4 inch extension of your floor up your baseboard. If you have friends and family in either construction, plumbing or electrical, you can keep it as low as $10k. If you can do a catering with 200-300 ppl, you’ll make $1k or an event with 1000 ppl attending also makes $1k. So, if you can get 15-20 of those events in a year, you’ll make your money back. I had mine in 2 months but every body is different. Sign up for my newsletter…much more info there.

"didn't hold water..'' this guy is funny. and incredibly insightful!
Excellent!!!! Looking to get started and this was very helpful.
Thank you so much for this video!
Hello. I have a question. How I can find people who can build it for me? Thank you so much for video 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I am wondering about the windows/ installing them? Also wondering about using a cargo trailer ?

We cover materials in the eBook.
Regulations in California are so tough . To get one of these permited is next to impossible
Great video! I see you use a generator to power the trailer, what do you use to power the coffee cart when you do indoor events?

I am wondering if the same plumbing regulations will apply to a push cart.
Most likely, depends on the city/county...
Ok thank you.
What size is this horse trailer and if you had to do it again would you hope for a larger and/or smaller trailer?
You can always have a bigger trailer...
There's never enough room!
how much in total was it to build the cart?

What brand is that cute little teal espresso machine?
Which commercial refrigerator did you use on the cart?
It’s so silly how everyplace has a different set of very subjective and in some cases, expensive standards that really don’t add value.
Hello I have a question do you start with a coffee trailer or cart? I work full time and go to school.
Sounds like a cart will help you get started faster. I’m always a fan of starting. Gets you experience, income and perspective.

Hey Colleen, I see your question and raise you one…are you trying to figure out the minimum amount to launch? Assuming you have a trailer already…
