You make it look effortless and all of your pieces come out looking delicious! Great artists make it look easy. That’s you, Kathleen.
Oh Bella - that’s so sweet! Thanks very much! You make me happy.
Kathleen, you are my favorite UA-camr/Journal maker! I feel like I've attended an art class each video of yours that I watch. I absolutely love the creativity and artistry in all your journals and I've learned something new and useful in every video you've made. I agree with others who have expressed appreciation for the fact that you are always well prepared in each video, and I love that you fast-forward or skip the non-essential stuff. I love that you stay on track with the subject matter and keep it as brief as possible, while still introducing wonderful ideas and techniques. Thank you! - Trudy
Trudy! That just makes me feel so happy! I’m so pleased that you find my channel useful and inspirational. It’s a pleasure to make videos for such loyal friends. Thank you for the support!
I love watching you create! Thank you!

Thank you April! My pleasure! Hope you have a great day today!
Yes, Kathleen, I am very much looking forward to the flip through of this journal. Everything you've done so far is so pretty; I can't wait to see it all together. I always enjoy watching you work, and I appreciate your sharing your tips and hints so much. I know that it takes longer to make the items on camera, so thank you for taking the extra time to share this with us. Did I hear you say you'd had snow?? I am happy to say that we have been having lovely in the 50s days. I hope that you enjoyed the snow. It is beautiful to see.
It’s a pleasure Linda! Yes, we’ve had snow - but no worries because it’s February! It’s melted now, though it lasted three days. I’m glad you like the journal and I thank you for watching!
Live your soft voice, your technique, creativity, and how you explain things.❤
Thank you so much Sandra!
Thank you, Kathleen. I just love watching you do your magic with the details! Awesome video! We’ve had plenty of hot days, however, we received some very welcome really steady rain yesterday. Our scenery outside looks as though it’s had a good wash and freshened up. No snow happening here!!! 😂😂💞
My pleasure Keryn! I’m glad you liked the video! What a blessing to have one of those steady dripping rains! That’s the best. Enjoy it!
Thanks for the crafting journey again, Kathleen! I truly enjoy the process and the ideas!
Looking forward to seeing it all put together!!
My pleasure Kerri! Thanks so much for watching. I appreciate your support!

Hi Kathleen! I like how you used glossy images. What a great idea to sand and emboss them,
Thanks so much! 😊
The coffee dyed paper strip that you scrunched up and used as a ruffle looks like fabric ribbon. It's really pretty. Looking forward to the flip-through!

Thank you Sandrine! I appreciate that very much!
Modigliani is the artist, and I love the strip you used on the side. Such a simple thing that took the portrait from a cut-out from a book to an intentional piece of ephemera. ☺
I'm so glad you like this simple technique Denise! Thanks for watching!
I'm a new subscriber. Was watching Gayle A., and she was making the collages pockets with Alice in Wonderland ephemera, and she said the idea was from you. I have so many ideas from it!! So neat, simple and cool! Glad she mentioned your name. Have a great day!!❤❤

You and I have a few similar likes and ways of doing things. I love more simple ephemera and inked edges. Your card at 22:06 is exactly how I make my favorite journal cards ( I have a video called "My Favorite Junk Journal Cards To Make" from Sept 18-23. I really need to get an embosser and play more with paints (after I clean my desk again ) I absolutely love all of those cards ☺♥
I know we do Joan! You will love an embosser - Thanks so much for watching!

Thank you Evie! I’m glad you like these! And you are right - it’s Modigliani. I found a little picture book of his paintings, so you’ll see him again in other journals! I always love finding these little art books. they are just right for ephemera, I think.
