This will go down as one of the most memorable moments for Idol to me. To have a girl who has to win from Zoom, finally getting her moment!! Having the confetti and sparks coming down for her was a moment forever

@@skymama65 I think she experienced bouts of homelessness & went right back to the subway performing for money like she was doing before idol. She looks cleaned up but that may be because they needed her for the special & she may be back down in the subway.

This is so special to me. I was incarcerated during the pandemic and hearing her sing each week was such a highlight for me! I’ve been following her on social media since I came home in 2021! I’m so so so proud of you Sam! You deserved this ! I will forever be a fan 🎉
