Many years ago, I had an Akita named Ryker. Got the name from Star Trek since Commander Riker was Picard's No 1. and the Akita was the No 1 Dog in Japan.. He was the same color as your shepherd. You are an exceptional trainer. I enjoy your videos.
Nice dog and video. I appreciate the skill and effort (and genetics) needed to bring a dog to this level. Question- What is the difference between protection and sport bite work? I know it would be difficult or impossible to demo without a suit, but it does seem like the protection dogs go for the forearm, just like a sport bite. Does a protection trained dog ever go for whatever is presented, kind of like what you see in k9 apprehension videos when the dog grabs whatever on the "bad guy", could be an arm, leg, rear end. Really enjoy the videos! And the dogs!

Truth ❤
How much is a dog at that level worth in Canada? He's really impressive
I know you can’t give details in comments but I’d love to just an idea on what a dog like this is going to cost me someday?
