But that also had it's bad things... (heavy manga spoilers) The nitroglycerin found it's way through all his body and he exploded his organs, he fixes that later on, but yeah.
When extreme circumstances are present, a person can unlock a quirk (kinda like a survival instinct) called a quirk awakening. When Monoma (I think that’s how you spell it) says that Bakugo’s weak, and that’s why (spoilers ahead) all might lost his power, Deku lost it. I think people only go through one quirk awakening in a lifetime, but Deku unlocked (more spoilers below) 7 quirks since his stockpiling quirk took the 7 quirks of OFA before him (since all might didn’t have a quirk) Some other characters experience quirk awakenings, but it’s pretty uncommon (I think?) I hope this helps even though other people have already answered! I’m sorry if I got any information wrong :)

I’m sorry but their reactions were so dull, I know this isn’t cannon but it was utterly boring to just watch the same reaction to the future and the most I got of a reaction was bakugou freaking out ONCE and then izuku but that’s it???
