Where to start ... Witcher 3 is a game like no other and I have played hundreds of games. Witcher 3 is without any doubt the best game ever made. Beautiful graphics, expressive characters, great music and an amazing story that you identify with. In total, I spent over 600 hours with this game, I always came back to it, to these beautiful places, to this beautiful music. Finally, there is a sadness that the game is over and you come back to reality. Witcher 3 is the best game I have played and I don't think I'll play any better because the bar is hanging in the galaxy. If someone is reading this and has not yet played Witcher 3, I can only tell you, dear reader, that it is time for you to play this beautiful game that you will remember forever.
I honestly agree with this, also being a huge fan of the whole Witcher franchise. But I must say, I'm not sure whether I consider the witcher 3 or Zelda BOTW as the best game ever. Both are magical in their own way, I guess. This one is absolutely brilliant in worldbuiding, making you feel like you really are a part of this different universe, while BOTW is unique in the way you feel absolutely and completely free when you play it. Anyone agrees ?
@@craigmcmillan4494 Witcher 3 is right up there with the best video games i've every played, period. definitely one of the greatest open world RPGs, Skyrim is the only other game that's even in the same stratosphere. one of the rare times where a great book series was taken into another medium and actually ENHANCED, while staying absolutely faithful to Geralt and The Witcher world.
When I first played the game, I didn't understand how incredible it was and I put it down early in the game. I was busy with high school and generally didn't understand how good it was. Jump to many years of video game practice later and after I started reading the books. I decided to pick it up again over quarantine. And I couldn't stop. It was my world for all of 2020. This game makes me so unbelievably happy, now. It blew my mind, the depth of the detail of the writing. It made me care about NPCs I'd never meet again. It made me laugh and cry and be furious and deeply care about every character. This truely is my favorite place of solace and the soundtrack makes me warm in a way no other game ever has.
I love the airiness of The Witcher 3’s soundtrack.... fells like the music is breathing and alive like the wind that blows through the fields and trees of the game’s magnificent world.
This is one of the few things I can consistently listen to while studying (PA school - need to focus!!), that doesn't make me sleepy or distracted. Just provides the perfect ambiance. Also makes me desperately want to play the game.
This game is literal therapy for any individual looking to escape reality for a few hours a day. It pulls you in like a siren in the forest. The story and incredible detail it houses brings forth an adventure for your mind that is so unique even just hearing this music pulls at your heart strings and brings instant comfort. So glad i could be around to experience the beauty this game and world of the witcher has gifted to the gaming community. Looking forward to downloading this again on my PC soon and melting back into the world of the witcher like hot butter.
Witcher is a masterpiece. Books and then games. Without books by Sapkowski games wouldn't exist. I hope that noone after watching netflix series doesn't thnik that this whole witcher things is a crap.
I played this game around 2017, just played maybe 10 hours and stopped. I felt it was good, but not my type of game. Then during quarantine in 2020 and after watching The Witcher series, I gave it another shot. I don't even know how to describe this game, I was playing like a lot of hours a day, from the main game to the DLCs. This game gave me one of the most unique experiences ever, I can say the quarantine time had some good moments because I played this game. Since then, I've already finished the game 3 times, one of them because i started listening to this songs and want to go back to that world, what a masterpiece!!!
I think the best part of the Witcher 3 is the feeling of having been on a long journey and finally finishing it. The satisfaction you gain from looking back and seeing all of the things you've done and the choices you've made.
I also sit here alone in the pandemic and got the Wichter to play. The beauty of this game brings me to tears - I feel so at home. Thank you for the music.
I remember playing TW3 with my ex-girlfriend. She always asked: "Could you play? It is like a movie to me." And I did. One day she took a bath and I finally found Ciri. I jumped up, ran to our bathroom and told her so... She jumped out to see it. Good days.
My wife always wants me to play Witcher 3 for the same reasons. She's there just watching me play like it's a movie for her . Best game I have ever played
I always thought the same. Witcher 3 plays like you're playing a movie or a novel (which is understandable, its source material is a novel series afterall). all in all a very good work by the game devs to make it so.
This music is an almost daily part of our homeschool. My two preteen daughters love to choose "The Witcher!" as the background study music. Many thanks.
I played The Witcher 3 about 5-6 years ago. Even today, I still think about it, my mind often returns to the streets of Novigrad, Touissant, and the soul-stirring landscapes of Skellige. It seems unlikely that they'll manage to produce another game like this. Thank you, CDprojektRED.
Can't believe that it has been almost a decade since this masterpiece was released. I have met many gamers since then and played many games, but I never felt so attached to a game ever. Those storylines, graphics, this music made it the best game I've ever played in my life. I know some people wouldn't agree. But it's simply because you skipped the dialogues and didn't "REALLY" played the game as it's meant to be played. Absolute GEM of a game!!!!
that game is something else man, I played tons of games but this one holds the crown ( with Red dead redemption & mafia 2). a game that will take you in a journey like no other :')
You have no idea how much I’m grateful for this video because it was the reason that made me play this masterpiece it was the reason made me fall in love with the soundtracks, thanks again man, you introduced me the best game of my entire life
I think there isn't another game and soundtrack that brings to me a lot of contrasting emotions like this. Thank you mate, hope everyone to have a moment in real life like Geralt in this video
I laughed, I cried, I was astonished, I was feared... The Witcher 3 is THE best game. I remember watching playthroughts in 2015 and finally buying it in 2017, after I got a good PC. It was on 50% sale the next week, but I didn't care. This game is so great and even the full price so justified. I would be first in line if CDPR would make a complete Witcher game. If the story since the Witcher 1 (Geralts loss of memory) would be in one big game, with more maps, more monsters, more story, better graphics. I would not care if they would just copy and past Witcher 3 in, I just want a giant remake and I would pay $500 for the special edition instantly...
might be in luck. CDPR said they're going to do another xpac based off of the netflix series for witcher 3. of course, with their recent 'developments' we should temper expectations and excitement so as not be bitterly disappointed once again.
That feeling of wanting to come back to these medleys once in a while just to escape reality and feel that warmth once again... It's so beautiful yet so painfully nostalgic
Just listened to this and I remembered that I have not finished such a great game. I turned on my PS5 and put it on download straight away. Let's hope I finish the game this time around. I never played a game again after I played The Witcher 3. I don't really feel the need to play games anymore, but I still really miss the Witcher universe. Like just the nature, riding on Roach, running away from drowners, and talking to the characters in the game. The music. It was so real to me. I can't roam around too much because of a chronic disease, so it was a way for me to bee free, in a way. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
this music feels like a heavy and warm blanket... covering me in a feeling of peace and another feeling that i cant put into words... like everything is okay and will be from now on
The Witcher: books, games, Netflix show... All of it is just amazing. Andrzej Sapkowski is truly a genius! I also like how he makes all these magical creatures seem like real people and not just magical, they are relatable.

I haven't heard these tracks in SO LONG. Wow, the nostalgia just comes right back and slaps so hard. I have to play this again. Thank you for posting this. I haven't played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt since the major update. It's going to be an amazing experience once again once I get my new gaming RIG. This game will never get old, and it seems like every time you play, there's always a new route to take with every quest. I love the side missions as they bring such great exploration of the euphoric maps. I can't wait to experience this now with HDR and Ray-Tracing, making a gorgeous world even more beautiful. Hands down, one of the best Fantasy RPG's of all time, IMO. Thank you, CDPR. For all the amazing memories.
Cherish the moments of playing this game afresh, ladies and gents and those in-between. For it will be a long time before we'll being seeing such a colossus of a game, so well-made, so well designed, so full of adventure, quests, etc. again. Delight in that you were alive to see this masterpiece of a video game, and honestly, try not to make comparisons to any other game, because, while I know it is damn hard, this game has so much to offer that it's a once in a life-time creation. A game born from that rare occasion when all the symbols, stars, and planets align in perfection.
Even if its for just a moment, this helps me feel normal again, reminiscent of the younger me who had no worries, before all the stress and self-hatred. The Witcher 3 is truly a work of art and a masterpiece that all should experience at least once. Thanks for making this video, even if i am 3 years late to finding it. Don't forget to always find a reason to smile, it may not be what fixes the problems you might be experiencing, but it puts a little bit more light back into the world, to stand against all the darkness and stressors.

Best game ever made is a bit of stretch c'mon....
@@craigmcmillan4494 it's his opinion so we can't say anything
I honestly agree with this, also being a huge fan of the whole Witcher franchise. But I must say, I'm not sure whether I consider the witcher 3 or Zelda BOTW as the best game ever. Both are magical in their own way, I guess. This one is absolutely brilliant in worldbuiding, making you feel like you really are a part of this different universe, while BOTW is unique in the way you feel absolutely and completely free when you play it. Anyone agrees ?
@@craigmcmillan4494it is the best. With the new remaster even more.

Witcher 3 is right up there with the best video games i've every played, period.
definitely one of the greatest open world RPGs, Skyrim is the only other game that's even in the same stratosphere.
one of the rare times where a great book series was taken into another medium and actually ENHANCED, while staying absolutely faithful to Geralt and The Witcher world.
Same here, mate
Felt the same way mom
I love the airiness of The Witcher 3’s soundtrack.... fells like the music is breathing and alive like the wind that blows through the fields and trees of the game’s magnificent world.
winds howling...
especially in skellige and toussaint, even novigrad sometimes
Looking forward to downloading this again on my PC soon and melting back into the world of the witcher like hot butter.
honestly dude
Witcher is a masterpiece. Books and then games. Without books by Sapkowski games wouldn't exist.
I hope that noone after watching netflix series doesn't thnik that this whole witcher things is a crap.
@@janek14speed I hate the netflix series. I watched season 1 and.... I came back to the video games and the books.

I've been playing this to my newborn son to calm him and to help him fall asleep. Works fine for 2 years already
@@drakkyr6737 they want to see Gerald naked i think 😂
@@drakkyr6737I envy you 😔
Did u recover/healed?
I always thought the same. Witcher 3 plays like you're playing a movie or a novel (which is understandable, its source material is a novel series afterall). all in all a very good work by the game devs to make it so.
This music is an almost daily part of our homeschool. My two preteen daughters love to choose "The Witcher!" as the background study music. Many thanks.
haha, great to hear :)
Definitely gonna have this in the background while reading the books.
I see I feel you.
Nothing more awesome than listening to this while writing codes.
I played The Witcher 3 about 5-6 years ago. Even today, I still think about it, my mind often returns to the streets of Novigrad, Touissant, and the soul-stirring landscapes of Skellige. It seems unlikely that they'll manage to produce another game like this. Thank you, CDprojektRED.
dont forget about the velen's ambient! It is kinda scary but I like it a lot :)
@@SwayerThorS I agree. I remember the first soundtrack I heard - it was in White Orchard- so haunting, it had me hooked.
I am playing witcher 3 right now first time and game is masterpiece !
that game is something else man, I played tons of games but this one holds the crown ( with Red dead redemption & mafia 2). a game that will take you in a journey like no other :')
Witcher 3 graphic and design, as well as mechanics and controls mixed with triology would be imeasurable

might be in luck.

I want to but life gets in way.
Going through a tough period in my life but I believe I have what it takes to make it.

Peace fellow Witcher enjoyers! 🙂
I've never played the game myself, but seen various uncommented playthroughs and heard the audiobooks many times. I can listen to the music for hours. It gives me peace, hope and motivation at the same time. Many Thanks!

The way this game looks is a fine and arduous work of art, but the truly timeless part is the way it sounds.
this music feels like a heavy and warm blanket... covering me in a feeling of peace and another feeling that i cant put into words... like everything is okay and will be from now on
This is so good for studying. Take a break when the night falls, and get back to work as the sun rises.
The Witcher: books, games, Netflix show... All of it is just amazing. Andrzej Sapkowski is truly a genius! I also like how he makes all these magical creatures seem like real people and not just magical, they are relatable.
Reading the books while listening to this is a peak experiencie... I'm doing now.
this did not help me study all it did was make me want to play witcher 3 again

Raeding the books with this. Its great!
"It's just a game!" they said. This is much more than just a game: it's art, it's emotions, it's a soul, it's a whole parallel world and this game will forever remain in my heart the best of the best!
I read The Witcher books with this in the background. Its a magical and emotional experience!
I’ve been going through a rough patch in my life. Listening to this on my drive and playing the Witcher when I get home are what’s helping me through.
Still to this day the greatest highlight of my gaming life, this game is so special
This game is a masterpiece.

My wife hates video games
And hates me playing video games
But whenever I am playing Witcher 3, she likes to listen to its music .
dude, sorry but something like that is a bit of a red flag for me. i hope your relationship is good but she should be more supportive of your hobbies, she would hate it if you criticized her for her hobbies, how is it fair for her to hate yours? not enjoying video games is one thing but hating it when your partner plays them is kinda... eh.
@@phoenixtalon100 Maybe the wife REALLY just wants to use the TV for watching her favorite show...
@@SorrySuckYou A lot of games don't need a TV - and there can be multiple TVs if they do. It depends on whether they are using a console or a PC, to be honest. Though, you can still use a PC screen for consoles, you would just need to manually set up speakers, unless the screen has them built in

Thanks for your vid. As a Polish person I read all the books by mr Sapkowski when i was a teenager. Then came the tv series, and feature film - it was cringy but had some charm.
