I use the big Ulta cotton balls to soak up wax layers while using my candle lamp. It’s just so much less messy. I stick them in the cardboard crates to use as fire starters too.
I am going to have to give that a try! I'm always looking for ways to make things less messy. My system now is pretty easy but tossing some cotton in there would probably work well too!
My Kringle PSL was pretty strong but I hate the soy lol I miss the paraffin. Also, do you feel like soy burns faster? I feel like I could never get through candles before but I burn through Kringles pretty quick now.
The soy burns slightly faster than paraffin but not as fast as the soy blends I feel like. I wish I could like paraffin the but the amount of damage it did to our walls and ceilings at our last house make it an absolute no go for me. My Yankee and other random paraffin candles from back then majorly effed up our house unfortunately. The quality of the burn is so much more important. personally I don't have the money to pay painters to come back any time soon at this place. Paraffin is so messy to me. The soot was wild. The soy might be a touch lighter but the cleaner burn is so much more worth it to me. Luckily there are still a lot of paraffin companies out there tho since Kringle removed it from their lineup.
@@MrKongsMom yeah I just wish the country line stayed paraffin. I live in an area where everyone has wood burning fireplaces so we need to repaint every few years anyway
Nice empties and Happy Halloween :D I picked up at Ross YC's Berry Trifle, never had this one and it was a jewel to find as a returning favorite. Looking forward to the 8 ounce Spiced White Pumpkin next month. Smells great on cold. Pumpkin Carving will be burned next month as well, possible after HW 3-wick Witch's Spell. Thanks for the heads up on Wicked Vanilla Woods being light. HW Trick or Treat was burning great, nice scent, might have to do their Halloween Candy next year.
Yes, the wattage matters too. I have not thought to look at the wattage of the one's at the outlet stores. Anything under 50 is probably not going to give much fragrance output for those of us who like a stronger performance. Good call on mentioning that!
Melanie I’m sure you will laugh at this but I mentioned in an earlier video that I had performance problems with pumpkin spice latte from Kringle. I did reach out to them and they did issue me a gift card for the two that I purchased which was great. I ended up putting one of them in my crock and then oh boy did I get fragrance But the fragrance I got was hotdog water lol I can’t even melt that one as the smell is not appealing to me. Oh well, maybe I will pass the other one onto someone else who enjoys it lol.
Many creators and non-candle community people are definitely getting into candle lamps, but unfortunately most don't know to dump out each layer any more than they knew to always let a candle fully pool. I have the urge to send you video to everyone lol.
I recently saw that a huge creator was gifted a luxe candle from homeworx. She said that the brand homeworx is supposed to be knock off voluspa. That slightly hurt my heart🤣
