I think they’re afterimages of how fast he’s moving considering every single one of them come in and hit you at the end which, canonically, would be 1000 times.
Even just how it STARTS is easily the most threatening. Before, it was mostly just Akuma striking a pose or shouting "Die one thousand deaths" in a hammy tone of voice. Now, you actually get to see him rushing towards the screen, completely shrouded in darkness with only those menacing red eyes of his being the one thing you see in said darkness - and there's no fancy pose this time around (is it any wonder why it's the current page image of Street Fighter 6's Nightmare Fuel page over at TV Tropes?). And while he still says his iconic line, it's much more subdued and almost calm now, making him all the more unnerving and highlighting just how Akuma is not someone to be trifled with
There's an argument to be made that the classic is cool cause it's so mysterious. But i think showing us what is happening from the opponents point of view makes it 1000 times more brutal.
The boss one on t7 is the same as the playable one the only difference is the boss ver RA is a ohko thats pretty much it if you talking about the ko animation after his messatsu they give that to him if he used it on the final round phase
The originally as street fighter 2 secrets boss and playable character that was to OP he was band for the tournament practically in every game he appeared, was in tekken 7 not just as gest character but as well as canon to the tekken franchise. And if he appears in mk1 with him being in street fighter 6 the internet will just blow up as a nuclear bomb. And imagine if he somehow appears in tekken 8 just to break the unwritten law *"gest characters are appearing only once in adders franchises"* and it will just make him the first fighting character appearing in big 3 names of the fighting games (Tekken, street fighter and mk), specifically in latest games.
You don't have Super Turbo's raging demon finish. You only have it as the intro (missing flash animation and symbol). Shin Akuma is playable in ST but only on 1 console version.
I have mixed feelings about SF6, it goes against the all black screen that's been used all this time, which kinda ruins the mystery and takes away the idea it goes faster than you can see, but at the same time it shows 1000 Akumas, which compliments the idea of him going faster, plus the graphics looks so good. At the same time it takes away SF5 new kanji (the symbol on his back) which made it look like he had evolved since Street Fighter Alpha, at the same time showing many symbols on the back takes away a bit of the emphasize into the back's one, but I have no idea about kanji and symbolism, so I can't say for sure this new usage of the kanji ruins the essence or compliments it.
Street fighter 6's raging demon gotta be the scariest. A whole bunch of shadow akumas not knowing which one is going to punch your shit in.
The best part about it is how he floats to you at the start

Considering the "Die 1000 deaths" im pretty sure its literally 1000 hits that would kill a normal human
That’s probably what the opponent been seeing this whole time when the screen fades to black for the viewers.

In sf6 I would've like akuma with his shadows staring down at his opponent shaking in fear, then the screen goes black.
I see what you did there 😂
@@oluwajimiloko2536that would have either been way better or way funnier… or surely both
I think SF5 has the best one. It's the perfect blend of getting the introspect of what's going on and still not knowing what's going on.
As someone who enjoys not knowing what’s going on, SF4 was the best
The problem with the SFV one is that theres not even hit sparks when the screen gets dark
Problem with SF5's one is that Kage's is better. SF6 is the best one though
@@imaginaryking5276 if you like not seeing whats going on shouldn't second impact have the best one
That tekken 7 combo was so sick! To have it finish off with the raging demon was the icing on the cake!
My favorite move of all time from one of my favorite fighting game characters of all time. MESSATSU!
Mesatsu
So, we're missing A LOT of games here. All of the EX games, most of the versus games, Street Fighter x Tekken and maybe some others.
Isshun sengeki! 🔥🔥🔥
Still missed from Shin Gouki Version and also from Tekken 7 Boss Version..
Yep
Are you speaking as a Boss or playable character?
You mean the one from Special Chapter?
Finish the match with Raging Demon, you'll get the same results
The boss one on t7 is the same as the playable one the only difference is the boss ver RA is a ohko thats pretty much it if you talking about the ko animation after his messatsu they give that to him if he used it on the final round phase
I don’t give a damn what no one says!!!!
If akuma appeared in Mk1 as SF6
It would destroy the internet
Tell me I’m full of it
That’s all facts tbh

X men vs street fighter ?
Capcom vs Snk ?
No cvs2 shin akuma?
SF4 best then SF5
Alpha 2 is the best
akuma was broken in tekken 7 lol
Is cool but is too much anime bs tbh i prefer the simple version from the others games.
My guy, this is a Japanese video game.
What??
Na i won’t say it’s better than the old one. Both versions are better in their own way but… “too much anime bs” 😂ur just tweaking
