Here's what I would've done with this ending After Chloe is arrested for disfiguring Paula's face by Phil and with the evidence against her, she confesses to her part and the bribe. When he demands to know what she means by this, she off-handedly mentions that Paula's father, Ken, paid her to disfigure her face by buying acid to do the deed because he hated how she resembled the mom who abandoned them for her side guy. Chloe is unaware that her confession is being recorded and can be used against her in court. Phil thanks her for her stupidity because he's going to make sure she's going to be spending a lot of time behind bars with Bertha and her gang of angry female inmates. Ken watches from outside the window as the cops close in on him. He knows it will be a matter of time before everyone learned the truth in how he ruined her life by having Chloe ruin her face. His regret and remorse comes too late as they arrive to arrest him for his role in abusing her and ruining her face. After a short trial, both Ken and Chloe are found guilty for their crimes against Paula and are given consecutive life sentences with no possibility of parole. During the sentencing, she confronts Ken for what he did to her and wondered why he kept punishing her for her mom's mistakes. How Paula was nothing like her and all she wanted was to be left alone. As for the father turning his back on Paula, he cared more about the deal he had made with the groom's father's debt than about her well-being. He cared more about her saving her marriage than her well-being.

That's what happens when you wish evil on someone who's innocent. And that "fart"her(father) should have been more supportive to Paula instead of booting her out in her time of need. It's not her fault she looks that way. I don't blame Paula if she doesn't want anything to do with her father. He won't have anyone to visit him in the old folks home or his grandchildren refusing to acknowledge his existence. The last (and most definitely least) person:Paula's ex-husband. The jerk didn't want to take the time to know Paula. Always putting her down trying to make her feel low. And got the audacity to cheat on her while still married. The mistress finally wised up and left him warning other women to stay away from the leech.

After hearing the story, Linda decided to do a little digging because Linda believes she's been framed. So with Troy's help, Linda was able to get a job at the same grocery store Troy work at and earned enough money to hire a private investigator to investigate Henry. Meanwhile, Linda and Troy, eventually, got closer and became a couple and took turns watching their daughter. After two weeks of investigating, it turns out that Henry had a mistress long before his engagement to Linda. And Henry's mistress worked at the very sperm bank Troy donated to. And the photos Henry had were photo shopped. Later on, Linda and Troy hired a lawyer and brought Henry and his mistress on trial. After presenting all the evidence of Linda's innocences, Henry(who was nervous and later on angry) confessed that he and his mistress got her pregnant through a random men's sample to divorce her because he was annoyed by her constantly wanted a child. In the end, Henry was charged with marriage fraud and his mistress was charged and they both got imprisonment and had to pay alimony to both Linda and Troy. Later on after, Troy and Linda got married and lived a happy life with their daughter, Joy.
