(Beej contemplating eating the biscuit vs tomato) Don't... (Beej chooses biscuit) It's good to see Beej making sensible decisions today. (C A K E F A C E P L A N T) I spoke too soon.
I like how Wheeler asked the question that identified the loophole in the throwing task, then didn't use the opportunity to move the chair after all. Edit: Well, until after a few tries... :D
I love how Ben Wheeler is like a sweaty cryptid anxiously trying to perform human activities, Serge is so nervous, Matt's just getting on with the task methodically, Ian gets on with the task thoughtfully, and Kathleen is just sort of wandering through it all unfazed. Also Beej. Beej is doing Beej things. We can't forget about that.
Watching this I was VERY aware that Kathleen was conspicuously absent for the first half of the montage, and that always means something spectacular. Not always good, but spectacular. I had money on her having to eat the cake
Thanks Kathleen, I see I am not the only one that takes every three-syllable term and warps it into "Baby Shark." I've also been taking every eight-syllable phrase and singing it to the tune of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
It's been a joke for a while; I think it started with commodoreHUSTLE. It shows up in Season 5, though I can't for the life of me remember which episode.
I'm surprised no-one cut their food in half and put it on both sides of the scale to balance it edit: but seriously, more taskmaster....I mean askmaster/assmaster
I was half-expecting someone to put the food on the scale, then balance the scale by removing said food item from the scale. But still, I am all for more tasking.
Watching Kathleen eat the jello (specifically the dangling thread of jello mucus) made me viscerally queasy, but this video was still amazing and I'm always looking forward to more Taskmaster. Best of this kind of segment you guys do.
I wonder if it would be legit to just shout, "Hey Creepy Shrine! Wherever ye be, you can have it! It has been offered." and then just move right on along.
Serge stacking a bunch of red sleeves then a couple green sleeves to match the weight of a tomato was perfect, considering both sides end up resemble each other.
matt making the cake throw on the first try has the same “SURELY he cannot throw the cake” energy as sally phillips tossing the jello into the bucket in TM season 5(?)
Imagining that this was filmed without everybody on set at once raises so many questions. Was it the same carrot cake? Were there multiple carrot cakes? Did everyone at LRR eat carrot cake for a week straight after filming? ...Was this whole episode just an excuse to eat carrot cake?
What if the items had varying point values, based on the task Like cake would give 10 points if given to Creepy shrine, 5 points if thrown, 2 points if used as weight, 50 if eaten, etc
Hindsight; Crapshot of someone speedrunning these challenges Just see Beej, Kathleen, Matt, doing it normally And then Ian, just perfecting it, till suddenly one missup, phases out of reality
Good to see they found some room in the tarp budget for this
It's early in the year
At this rate they're never going to have enough in the tarp budget to recreate the scene from scanners.
I like how not only did Matt and Ian make their throw on the first attempt, they chose the two things with the largest drawback for missing.
(Beej contemplating eating the biscuit vs tomato)
Don't...
(Beej chooses biscuit)
It's good to see Beej making sensible decisions today.
(C A K E F A C E P L A N T)
I spoke too soon.
This is the same man who once ate a banana hands-free.
High five to whomever set up the mirror in the prop room for that camera angle, that worked beautifully
[G] Thank you! Though I admit it was a happy accident, I was just trying to hide the shrine :)
Ian honoring the shrine was so wholesome
It's a very Ghibli tribute.
Beej staring contemplatively at the tomato is content at its purest form.
I will always support the creation of more Taskmaster!
*Askmaster, legally distinct taskmaster. Gotta keep it distinct if we want more.
Its like Taskmaster but I know and care about the contestens
Assmaster
I always enjoy it when people employ lateral thinking to make tasks easier.
Please make more of these! They are so much fun to watch. Y'all always come up with cool solutions to your tasks.
I like how Wheeler asked the question that identified the loophole in the throwing task, then didn't use the opportunity to move the chair after all. Edit: Well, until after a few tries... :D
He's a tryhard and he knows it. He's gotta stay on brand.
"Where's the closest Catholic church?" *_FUCK_*
I started watching the UK version of Task Master because of LRR. So worth it
I love how Ben Wheeler is like a sweaty cryptid anxiously trying to perform human activities, Serge is so nervous, Matt's just getting on with the task methodically, Ian gets on with the task thoughtfully, and Kathleen is just sort of wandering through it all unfazed.
Also Beej. Beej is doing Beej things. We can't forget about that.
Please continue to call contestants Task Abators
Watching this I was VERY aware that Kathleen was conspicuously absent for the first half of the montage, and that always means something spectacular.
Not always good, but spectacular.
I had money on her having to eat the cake
I figured it just meant they were grouping the tasks together and she did a different order.
Serge may have lost time with his Jello giggling eating but he won valuable entertaining content for us. Thank you Serge!
With the sleeve colors Serge made a tomato, truly balanced
I have never seen someone struggle with the physical act of eating jello as much as Serge did here
"Think wet thoughts" Beej 2022
I laugh while imagining Graham sitting under the table the whole time holding up Gibbs
Thanks Kathleen, I see I am not the only one that takes every three-syllable term and warps it into "Baby Shark." I've also been taking every eight-syllable phrase and singing it to the tune of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Are they at least trochaic?
"Place the food item on the scale. Balance the scale." I would have put the cake on the scale, then taken the cake off the scale. Scale balanced!
"If I'm not careful, I'm gonna have to eat that tomato."
-Serge
Wow the triple pun, good job to who ever came up with the name for this one.
Love the new direction for content! Super fun! Plus you got Wheeler and that's never a miss!
Glad to see the tarp budget got an increase.
LRR really needed new tarps.
What's this joke about a tarp budget? Is it an Askmaster thing I'm forgetting from a previous episode, or something else?
It's been a joke for a while; I think it started with commodoreHUSTLE. It shows up in Season 5, though I can't for the life of me remember which episode.
Gotta admire Beej and his commitment to the bit.
I admire Beej's commitment to the bite.
so glad they finally found some room in their tarp budget
Watching Serge slurp Jello off a plate is the funniest thing I have seen in a while.
The last time I watched one of these, my recommended was full of Taskmaster videos for a month.
I am ok with this happening again.
I thought of removing it, but not cutting it in half. Good thinking!
Ian is somehow brilliant at this
Thank you for uploading a clean version of this video without the live reactions.
As a Meat Them, this content makes me content.
Here's to Meat Thems
Beej: think wet thoughts
Immediately cuts to wet Kathleen jello slurps
"Where's the nearest Catholic church?" I died
This was wonderful. My wife and I laughed so hard. Please do more when you have the time.
Beej with the dice to balance. Pro move.
Was thinking to myself I woulda just faceplanted the cake, and was curious why no one else did....and then here comes beej for the win....love it
Watching Kathleen eat the jello (specifically the dangling thread of jello mucus) made me viscerally queasy, but this video was still amazing and I'm always looking forward to more Taskmaster. Best of this kind of segment you guys do.
“This explains the tarp”
I wonder if it would be legit to just shout, "Hey Creepy Shrine! Wherever ye be, you can have it! It has been offered." and then just move right on along.
I'm surprised no-one knew where the shrine would be. They *live* there!
Serge stacking a bunch of red sleeves then a couple green sleeves to match the weight of a tomato was perfect, considering both sides end up resemble each other.
absolutely do more of these
I can't get enough Askmaster. :D
Excellent, as always. I love these. Thank you.
I love that so many decisions were based on contestants' dislike of raw tomato. Same, honestly.
Having a rough week - really needed this.
Never been happier to discover something has become a reoccurring segment
Ask Master is so good, thank you for continuing to make it, these are all so good
Love Askmaster! So much fun!
Will we ever get new Askmaster? I love these
20:54 Ah, Beej. Don't ever stop Beejing.
Bwabwabwabwwwwwwwwaaaah.
This challenge has to be done weekly
I was here for Beej putting his face in the cake.
the thumbnail is AMAZING
matt making the cake throw on the first try has the same “SURELY he cannot throw the cake” energy as sally phillips tossing the jello into the bucket in TM season 5(?)
absolutely love whenever you lot do Askmaster :D
Great video, loved it in the long version
Watching the team members schlorp down that lime jello made me laugh a lot, for no good reason. Great segment as always.
Major props to all who went full Bluto from Animal House and scarfed the jello!
I frogot that Beej had bad depth perception😭
Kathleen was giving us Noel Fielding energy and I am here for it.
They went through the 2022 tarp budget real quick.
10/10 would watch again
This was so fun. I havent laughed this hard in a bit! I love Beej so much
Imagining that this was filmed without everybody on set at once raises so many questions.
Was it the same carrot cake?
Were there multiple carrot cakes?
Did everyone at LRR eat carrot cake for a week straight after filming?
...Was this whole episode just an excuse to eat carrot cake?
Oh goodness Beej and the cake! HAHAHAHA
We’ve barely started 2022 and already the tarp budget is nearly exhausted
Only now -months later- am I seeing the train on Ian’s background 😅
These are so delightful.
Ian immediately had the same idea I had.
Thanks for this.
I love this skit! I did like it better with the commentary (i’ll just go back and watch the part from the entire LRL ep!)
Love this show!
That was honestly hillarious
I kept waiting for someone to pick up the scale and balance it on a finger or something.
This is the content I've been craving
Beej, you treasure
What if the items had varying point values, based on the task
Like cake would give 10 points if given to Creepy shrine, 5 points if thrown, 2 points if used as weight, 50 if eaten, etc
This is Great! Eat the cake!
Psst. Bartleby. I have written DOZENS of these if you want another idea. Or many.
Those cakes looked so good.
F
Delightful!
This was a fun watch lol
Congrats to everyone!!!
*Spoilers*
But especially to Kathleen! Rocking that big hair goals! 🥰
Algorithmic punch
(Ooooh very different tone in presentation without the live reactions. Neither is best, but both are good.)
I felt like it was missing more input from Gibb during the actual recording of the task as well.
Great job on the editing!
Also a lot more enjoyable than any TV versions.
Love it.
Hindsight;
Crapshot of someone speedrunning these challenges
Just see Beej, Kathleen, Matt, doing it normally
And then Ian, just perfecting it, till suddenly one missup, phases out of reality
Amazing. I love it
I watched this while eating a tomato.
Why is there a picture of phoenix Wright in the bathroom....
gdi Beej lolol
Please papa! Can I have more?
This a play on taskmaster, fantastic!
I don't get the tomato-hate. I'd eat raw tomato of any kind if I wasn't allergic. Not kidding
Beejsteak Tomato
Lol
