I think the reason fujimoto choose to use so goofy motivations for the ice witch was because the whole manga revolves around depression, the wish to die, and living in constant pain for absolutely no reason. The Ice witch grabs onto what little she can to live, think about it, she has lived literal thousands of years, maybe even being around the Rome era, she has to focus all her actions onto one objective to keep having the strength to live, she successfully makes herself think that is the reason to exist. Togata has a goofy motive to live too, movies were the only thing that kept him going, nothing was there for him to give a damn, he even says it,he says movies where his everything. Almost all the characters grasp onto whatever reason they can to have a motive to exist, to live and to find a real and meaningful purpose.
I doubt it was a coincidence either that all of the communities the story present us are based around religion, the community of old people Agni and Luna lived with, behemdorg and Agni sama’s cult are all based on religion. This people grab onto the idea that a higher being of incommensurable power is watching over them and creating a place for them to be on the afterlife, that even happens in our reality, that is because having the idea that all suffering you and other people went through had a bigger purpose in the grand scale of the cold and heartless universe is uplifting, life changing even.
3 and a half minutes in and I've choked out some of the ugliest laughs in my life. "This isn't Frozen 3; It's Ice Age 6" and "whose blessing is being an empath" truly ended me
This made my night thanks for being a fun UA-camr, a little sad you didn't make fun of a lot the ways he killed at last but great video. You could read choujin x it could be a video til the time skip or just a good read

Ignorance is bliss, as they say.
I still can’t get over her canon motivation being Star Wars. It’s something that really solidified this series as a favortiw
The things you do for your favourite movie series
When I first read that I thought it was a joke put in by the scanlation group
3 and a half minutes in and I've choked out some of the ugliest laughs in my life. "This isn't Frozen 3; It's Ice Age 6" and "whose blessing is being an empath" truly ended me
the moment agni became fire punch was the moment I knew this series would never be able to really leave my brain
I like Fire Punch. I like Agni and how insane he is. No story has made me think as much as this one. A fucking masterpiece
I viewed the ending as a positive one. He pushed himself to live to reach happiness, he just had to wait until the end of the universe to find it.
Ive read the story once already and it still ruins me that the main villain's goal was a Star Wars Sequel.
*Masterpiece*
Wasn't expecting it to turn video essay in the last minute. But a welcome change of pace
the 6:40 part caught me off guard, my fire got punched
This was so well scripted as both a mix of the absurd humor and all the difficult moments near the end of the manga
This made my night thanks for being a fun UA-camr, a little sad you didn't make fun of a lot the ways he killed at last but great video. You could read choujin x it could be a video til the time skip or just a good read
Man this manga was so good I read it all in 1 day yes the entire 84 chapter ( i have to attend my college finals next week btw)
Good luck, og
Thank you. The manga is disturbing and you conveyed that with humor. It is also aavailable on mangaplus on a spanish re-edition being released.
You're the best anime youtuber in existence
I'm going to like an sub ma boy
The moral of the story is that movies and filmmaking is cool and to not believe in cults and propaganda (the average garbage slop like ice age)
Truly nightmare fuel this manga
Amazing
