Yea, it kinda destroys the suspension of belief when no one comments on Mythra's leotard and then suddenly when she's in a towel (which in some areas and viewpoint angels actually covers less than her default outfit) they notice. It's like, a little consistency would be nice.

Even though it's a bit fanservice, in terms of creating curiosity it was really good. Couldn't wait to find out wat Mythra meant. And I wasn't disappointed.

I first watched this scene without knowing anything about Xenoblade 2 or how the human body works and I thought Nia was pregnant.
All of the Mario/Link shirtless stuff from this year was being built up so we wouldn't question this scene when it came out.

Every anime has to have one of these or else it wouldn't be what anime is known today for. Although knowing Mythra hasn't taken a bath in 500 years kinda kills the mood.

Mythra noticed something about Nia that apparently would only be noticed if she was naked. "Are you...?" To me, there's 2 possibilities. A, she's pregnant, but her uniform hides it, B, the less likely answer IMO, she's really a guy. Unless you can guess some other thing.
Still, one good thing about being Rex, he got 2 waifus for the price of one. Hell, it almost makes me wonder, if blades/drivers have fallen before, and what happens to any kids?

The lip-sync in this game is better than the first Xenoblade Chronicles. Xenoblade Chronicles X's was actually the best, but that is because they used veteran American voice actors who have been matching lip-sync in English dubs for years.
Unless you're Square-Enix and you have a $50 million budget to redo every single cutscene to match the English voice acting. Like they did for the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy and FFXV.
I liked the voice acting for both XBC and XBCX. This isn't as good as those two, but it's passable for the most part. Lipsync could use some work and Rex needs more oomph in his action scenes but otherwise the dub is generally fine. It's realy a matter of preference more than anything else.

The fan service wasn't that bad in Awakening, there were only Tharja and Aversa as thots and that's it. But Fates added dress-ups and bathroom scenes... It's just too much
Echoes took out all the waifu stuff if you haven't played it yet. It is now my personal favorite. And this is coming from someone who was drawn to Awakening's support conversation system and regrettably 100% the support log in Fates (I'm with you that Fates was awful).
The moment when Nia is most clearly not a trap yet people stupidly question the person that completely sounds like a female to be a boy.

This is a fine example that the fan-service in this game is bit too much. The first game had jiggle physics but the default clothing didn't and you could always change to whatever you wanted anyways. The problem no is that even the default outfits for the characters are Otaku fap material...
@Gravity Falls Canada Yea but this "Fap" material is not really in your face throughout the game. So the characters are designed in a sexy fashion; why is that so distracting to you when the game itself doesn't focus on it every two seconds? Don't get me wrong, there are moments where the game does have the camera at precarious angles during shots of the females but there are very very few and far in-between. I get that some people are uncomfortable with sexy characters but still...

It's distracting to me and others because the game falls into the many tropes of Anime for entertainment instead of being creative like the 1st game. It's not a deal breaker but it was a choice that could and should have been avoided...
