As a 12 yr. Ev tec. Know Mine worked for 2 weeks and BMS burnt out they refuse to fix it and after fighting with them for a month they refuse to answer! SHADY COMPANY. I fixed the battery 1 week latter motor burnt up, now a new motor crap scooter
I have also tuned the stock controller for more amps, the bms and battery handles extra curren very well ;)

Love the video. Many people recommend this scooter as I was inclined to buy a isinwheel s10 max and considered the iscooter mate, but after extensive research I realized the majority of complaints surrounding theses brand despite the poor customer service was the quality of the products. I value the quality of a product and I’m glad I didn’t go with those Chinese brands.
This scooter looks great but I would wish it had a dedicated app to help enable more features/ security. Also think the lighting could be better. The waterproof rating would help provide better protection on surprise rain days I tend to have in my region with climate changes. Otherwise, I still plan to research just a bit more but have this on my top 3 scooters with the kaabo mantis being my 1st chose, though I think that’s too powerful for me, lol
This one is fine, yeah. There is now the 2024 edition of the G2 Pro. But if I get to choose - I'll go for a dual motor scooter, even if the motors are not that powerful

This is a great scooter. only thing I will say is that wheel puncture is a thing to worry about. Had to get hard rubber wheels because I would get ready to use it the next day and some shard of glass happened to stick right in the gaps. Or the tire valve stem would have been jiggly and loose. Also, if you have a good scooter mechanic shop, you can buy another motor from KuKirin and ask them to make it dual motor or just mod the scooter as is to up the speed. Of course, you should look into a beefier battery if you do any mod that needs to dish out more power than designed.
That said, alone, the scooter is more than enough for fun and is an excellent scooter for your intro into the e-scooter community. Also, is an wonderful scooter to get used to doing self repairs and part swaps.

Kukirin are good, their batteries are not as good though. Not sure about the other one.

As far as I know the model.has only one motor. But could be that they have added another revision.

Im just curious about flat tires. Are the off road better then street tires? My old scooter had flats all the time on the back tire.
The off-road tires may help in some situations and help you avoid punctures caused by smaller pieces of glass.
Hey bro, got a question about the scooter. I read some reviews people say at high speeds the scooter is unstable. I just wanna know if that's true if you could respond.
It feels similar to most other scooters in this price range. OK in my opinion
I've had one since the 25th of October, I've done about 250km, and honestly I'm loving the experience. In fact, I think I was one of the first buyers of this model. I decided to take that risk because I loved the e-scooter model. I almost had to order the G2 Pro, when I saw that the G2 Max was available for pre-purchase...I didn't even think twice about opting for the G2 Max.

Mine has and snapped where it folds in the stem the two little bits of metal hadn't to get stem replaced no where need a clamp so doesn't happen ag

I’m ordering mine today what do you think about the scooter overall. And how much realistic amount of range can I get going full speed the whole time on full charge?
@@Joe-yx5vi I have almost 200 miles on mine so far. I'm 6'2" and 240 lbs. I ride mostly flat land with a few ups and downs.
I usually go 15 miles round trip with about 1/3rd of the charge remaining, maybe a tad over. I capped my speed to 22 MPH [45% power] (I'm on a trail with lots of pedestrians and I don't ride it in the street, too dangerous in these parts). I'm faster than all the bicycles and rental scooters here.
This might get me about 22 miles range if I ride it until battery is drained.
My partner, being 5'5" and 155 lbs, can do the same ride and will have more than half of the charge remaining. She probably can get about 30 miles range on it or a few more.
The weight is 26kg. Yes I measured it. Producer says it weights around 30-31kg with the seat
This was the weight on the unit that I got. Most likely the new batches have reduced weight

@@silviousa I have a hiboy had some issues and emailed them they sent new parts and it is fixed. Only took about two weeks from the time I started talking to them till I received the parts. was super quick and easy

I just bought mine last Friday but they don’t ship during weekends so I have to wait till tomorrow on Monday, but I’m excited and can’t wait to ride mine, my Ninebot ES3 is slow and sucks when it comes to bumps.

The wheels are way too small. I love scooters but small wheels are impractical for real world city or off road riding. Most cities have potholes and other street issues that are more jaring that bike trails! Big wheels win over bumps far more than suspension. I still want suspension but big wheels are just as necessary.

Mine cuts out at 46v showing 5 bars when still.then when moving off bars drop down and it cuts out
Could be a loose connection or something else that is wrong. Go to a repair shop and get it inspected.

nice video as always, since you rode varla eagle one before how does it compare ? in mixed city, forest paths, light offroad zipping around, are suspension , battery life and dual motors worth to pay for zero or varla ? I like these designs a lot more tho to be honest haha, quite sporty looking
Currently riding a Ninebot D38U (my first kickscoot) Use it for work. Surprisingly decent for a lightweight 350 W front wheel motor. Goes 30km/h but I've maxed it out at 44km/h downhill. I saw a Kugoo G2 pro on sale so I ordered it but quickly cancelled order when I saw this version on sale. Cheers from West Coast Canada. 🥳

Bought mine the moment it came up for sale locally. No regrets so far, for the asking price this is the best feature/performance to price ratio scooer released yet, suspension feels great, the scooter itself is built way above typical Kugoo standards (Because the OEM is Unicool Titan group, the same people who make zero 10x and apollo ghost), top speed is perfect and range satisfies me as well. I love almost everything about the scooter except the brakes probably, they perform well enough but over time they will wear down and due to the non standard mount of the front brake its going to be a pain to find a replacement.
Can you elaborate on the brakes comment? You mean replacing pads or the whole part with the caliper?
@@DonLuigi72 the caliper itself. It's basically an inverted bicycle brake caliper of which there aren't many sold anywhere. Pads seem to be the typical round small ones used in most low to mid range scooters, tho I did find it cute how they tried to imitate Nutt brake pad heatsink design on the caliper to make it look more fancy lol.
How are the tyres performing? Any punctures yet?
@@frk6623 No punctures or any other damage, I've used same tires on my M4 pro for 500 kilometers without any trouble either.

Hmmm still wondering which one to buy it.... G2 Max or G3 Pro which is more powerful 🤔... also I am now located in UK 🇬🇧 so still figuring out which one is the best for me... G3 Pro has a lot power 🔋 💪 and with more power comes more range.... but this one has a seat and handle which you can regulate I hight on it... for example mine height is 167cm so G3 Pro will be alright for me what is comes to mine height ? Kugoos are really good, I have the G2 Pro and it is really well built for the price and all but has now around 3k km and well it's starting to have the typical problems of cheaper scooters, the bar with handlebars starts to move 😅 and well a little other stuff like some strange noises but that's not that important :)
You can tighten the bar. At 3k km most scooters will certainly start showing some issues

Mine had snapped at the stem where it floss to little weak metal point 320 to repair and replace not happy and want to find a new clamp to put on before I use again to prevent snapping again any extra parts for this scooter ???

Have you tried cruise control? 8 sec. to engage seems pretty excessive. 90% of the time on G30 I ride with the help of CC, so I am a bit worried this wouldn't fit. I have CC time to engage set to 2 sec. Also this scooter has no regen braking? So no one-finger driving? I do 90% of my braking with the motor set to medium force. I have to say that with XD firmware on Ninebot I am spoiled with exceptionally customizable scooter control. But, roads here are bad so lack of suspension is a real pain. What I wouldn't give for G30 with proper factory suspension for 200 US$ higher price 😎Finally, would you recommend this for city driving with many stop-start cycles, on rough paved roads, possibly in the wet?
Cruise control on more powerful scooters ends up being more of a safety hazard than a feature due to usual traveling speeds. Regen braking is present and adjustable but just like in most scooters it only engages when brake lever is pressed, you don't have to press it to a point where actual brakes engage but once sensor picks up that you are braking, though once again at 50+km/h it won't do you any good. As far as road conditions, yes this scooter works well on uneven terrain but performance in the rain/wet is more reliant on tires used rather than any other part of the scooter and as we know, as long as they fit size wise you can use any tires you want for the roads you typically drive on.
I usually avoid cruise control in the city when speeds are above 25km/h due to safety reasons. Tried to engage it a few times - but didn't notice it is that annoying.
I believe there are better choices for city scooters; Really depends on the region where you are;
I continue to use Navee N65 quite often, although it has no suspension.

Mine arrived 2 hours ago...i am just a bit disappointed because the handlebar is not align with the Front wheel....dont know how to solve it ....
You can adjust it - check carefully where you can loosen it a bit and then tighten again.
@@TechMishka thx mate....i checked it but i have just the tool it comes with the g2 and cant loose the bolts with that...i guess they loctite it.....i will bring it to a repair Service next week....but thx for your answer...btw....i played with the Power settings ( P07) and it was a bit strange afterwards to drive....it had dropouts when accelerating and even the horn honks from time to time...happend something like this to you ?

Nope... The next Kugoo I will test is the M5 pro.
Unless you live in a very dry climate don't get this scooter very very bad job done on the waterproofing and the brakes will get you killed
